The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1023: Chapter 1023: Does Rivendell Have a Computer?

”What’s up?” Just at that moment, the light above was covered, and a man’s low and enchanting voice came from overhead.

Without looking up, Nathalie Quinlan knew who it was just by hearing the voice.

Feeling rather annoyed, she tugged at the brim of her hat and suddenly looked up, asking the man who had appeared in front of her, ”Does Rivendell have computers?”

”Hmm? What do you need a computer for?” Amadeus Yancey asked, but without waiting for her answer, he stepped forward: ”Follow me.”

”I have something to do.” Nathalie Quinlan followed behind him, pondering distractedly: ”I don’t want just any computer, I need one with better specs and internet speed.”

On the way, they encountered a waiter from Rivendell, and Amadeus Yancey gave the waiter a couple of instructions.

Turning back to her, he had fair skin, a high nose bridge, and an indulgent look in his eyes showing his noble air, radiating an elegant and arrogant charm: ”Would a computer set up for gaming be sufficient? If not, I’ll go back and fetch my car keys; the computer at home should do.”

For a moment, Nathalie Quinlan was stunned by the sight, but it was just for a moment. She quickly suppressed the racing of her heart, with her dark lashes lowered, she pulled on her hat brim again, covering her eyes: ”That will be enough!”

*

Rivendell is among the top high-end clubs in Beijing.

Even Silvania Ingram chose this place for SEVEN’s big show, which speaks volumes about Rivendell’s facilities and status.

At Rivendell, there’s pretty much nothing you can think of that you cannot find; from billiards to shooting to Pai Gow Poker and other rich pastimes, Rivendell has it all and naturally includes the online games that young people love these days.

Amadeus Yancey led Nathalie Quinlan to an internet café.

Before they arrived, Rivendell’s staff had already cleared the area. It was just the two of them, and she randomly chose a computer, pulled out a chair and sat down.

A waiter brought over some drinks.

But Nathalie Quinlan didn’t drink.

She opened the computer, checked the internet speed and computer specs; true to an internet café rank, all the computers were uniform, from a brand specializing in gaming, and judging by the specs, they were probably the latest model from that brand. The online speed was very fast, and the drivers and processor were also quite decent.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t waste any time; after seating herself confidently, she began creating her own programming software...

Halfway through, a Rivendell waiter came in once again, bringing tea for Amadeus Yancey.

”Mr. Yancey, your tea.” He carefully placed the tea next to the man, while sneaking a glance in Nathalie Quinlan’s direction.

Before entering, he heard from others that Mr. Yancey brought a student who wanted to use the computer, thinking it was a girl who was young and liked games.

But upon entering, he only saw the numbers constantly refreshing on her computer screen.

That posture didn’t look like she was playing games, but more like she was writing programming?

As the waiter left with the tea, he couldn’t help but take another curious look at Nathalie Quinlan, greeted by an excessively young face.

18?

Or 19 years old?

Definitely at an age where she’s still in school.

But he saw the girl’s porcelain-white hands typing proficiently on the keyboard, the speed of her fingers far surpassing his own when he played games at home.

God, she can write programming software at such a young age? That’s just incredible.

Not daring to look any longer, he quietly withdrew.

...

Rivendell didn’t have any programming software, so Nathalie Quinlan first created her own programming software and then wrote an IP tracking program.

She was very familiar with this stuff.

She often played around with it at home when she had nothing else to do.

So it didn’t take long, with a few quick moves she had it all set up.

She entered Audrick Zachmann’s phone number, pressed the Enter key, and moved her hands away from the keyboard, leaning back and waiting with a composed face for the results to appear.
