The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 643: Chapter 643: Nathalie Counters with a Virus_1

He had completely forgotten that he had previously said Nathalie Quinlan could handle it, and had made a display of swallowing a computer whole in front of everyone.

With a complex expression, he asked Alfred Garland, ”What’s the story behind this Ms. Quinlan you mentioned?”

”Ah?” Alfred Garland looked utterly puzzled, mainly because he himself had not yet snapped back to reality, shaking his head and saying, ”She’s nobody special.”

Wallace Radcliff didn’t believe it and asked again, ”Then where did she receive such advance education?”

This time, Alfred Garland’s expression was even more colorful, responding with a face that could hardly express his shock, his voice slightly high-pitched, ”McKinney No. 1 Middle School, senior, attending school.”

McKinney No. 1 Middle School, senior, attending school.

More than twenty people heard it clear as day; as for what they were thinking after hearing that, nobody knew.

Wallace Radcliff: ...

Alfred Garland added, ”She’s about to take the college entrance exams this year, but she’s already got a school that has offered her a position.”

He held back from telling them that the school Nathalie Quinlan was guaranteed admission to was Tsinghua University, and that it was as the top-ranked student in the joint entrance exam that Tsinghua University had chosen her.

Wallace Radcliff didn’t want to know either, his mind fixated on the phrase ’still has to take the college entrance exams this year.’

A high school senior who still had to take the college entrance exams this year managed to take down their entire technical team of elite programmers??

What’s happening with the youth nowadays?

Are they all this fierce?

He slapped his head and took a deep breath, just as he was about to speak.

He then heard an astonished voice from a technician nearby: ”Their system is under attack...”

Everyone gathered together.

A technician marveled, ”It’s a virus.”

”Their data source has been cut off, and the virus is destroying their computer. If this continues, their computer will be ruined! Once the computer is trashed, the chip they inserted into the computer will also be ruined. With the chip gone, The Ninth Institute’s database will be safe,” someone explained on the side.

Alfred Garland watched with wide-open eyes, seeing the programming on the computer screen constantly flashing, and data hopping around like it was free.

”They’ve also realized something is wrong and are trying to intercept,” he said.

Wallace Radcliff, suppressing his excitement, asked anxiously, ”Did they manage to intercept it?”

The speaking technician shook his head, a relaxed and happy smile on his face, ”No. Our virus is too powerful; they were caught completely off guard. Not to mention saving the copied data, even the programs on their own computers have been completely destroyed.”

”That’s amazing!” This exclamation came from the bottom of his heart: ”I’ve never seen such incredible tech before.”

Upon hearing that the other side’s computer had been counter-destroyed, their stuff hadn’t been lost, and the chip the other side had stolen was ruined as well, Wallace Radcliff let out a sigh of turbid air, coming back to life, with his shrewd eyes shining extremely brightly, he let out a laugh, and with a big hand he patted Alfred Garland’s shoulder, ”Not bad, where did you find this gem? We were lucky to have her here today.”

Alfred Garland himself was still in shock and didn’t forget to stand up for Nathalie Quinlan, ”Mr. Radcliff, that’s not what you were saying earlier.”

Wallace Radcliff touched his nose and admitted with a bit of embarrassment, ”I was just looking at her youth, not knowing she was that good with computers, and you didn’t deny it either.”

”...”

Alfred Garland really wanted to say, I would have refuted if I could, but damn it, I didn’t know Ms. Quinlan was that skilled with computers either. If I had known, why the hell would I have been so anxious just now!

Unfortunately, those words couldn’t be said in front of Wallace Radcliff; they had to rot inside him.

Meanwhile, a look of doubt crept into his eyes.

Ms. Quinlan’s computer skills were a bit too impressive. Where did she learn all that?
