Quick Transmigration: The Cannon Fodder's Comeback in the Era Tales

Chapter 744: Chapter 744: Live-in Son-in-law 6

Yuan Chun didn’t care how angry Qin Dashan was; she returned to her room, took out a notebook, and began drawing a wheelchair structure diagram.

After finishing the drawing, Yuan Chun headed straight to the bicycle factory.

When the bicycle factory director learned she wanted to sell her job position, he kept the job for his nephew who had just graduated high school, giving Yuan Chun nine hundred yuan and quite a few tickets.

One hundred yuan higher than the market price.

Yuan Chun expressed her gratitude, ”Thank you, Director Gao.”

Director Gao replied earnestly, ”No need to thank me. Your father is a hero of our factory; he saved sixty thousand yuan for us. If you ever encounter difficulties, come to the factory to find me. As long as I can help, I will definitely help you.”

Riding the wave, Yuan Chun said, ”Uncle Gao, actually, I do have one thing I’d like you to help with.”

She took out the wheelchair blueprint and said, ”My dad was discharged yesterday. I don’t want him lying in bed all day without even seeing the sunlight. I care for my dad deeply, so I want to custom-make a wheelchair for him. When I have time, I can push him out to see the world outside,” she explained. ”Uncle Gao, I know our bicycle factory has a lot of scrap materials. I don’t want to waste good materials; as long as you sell me some scrap materials, I’ll hire someone to make it.”

Director Gao said sternly, ”No need to buy scrap wheels. Our bicycle factory is not that stingy. Rest assured, Uncle Gao will decide to reward your dad with a wheelchair.”

Yuan Chun was full of gratitude, ”Thank you, Uncle Gao, but I still prefer to pay. I don’t want to cause you any trouble.”

”Don’t worry, as the director, I have this authority.” Director Gao said with emotion, ”Your dad will never stand up again because he protected the factory’s property. It’s the factory that owes him; rewarding him with a wheelchair is what we should do. Otherwise, people outside would say our bicycle factory is stingy, not even willing to give a hero a wheelchair.”

Then, Director Gao took Yuan Chun to the workshop to find Master Wang, the technician.

Seeing the wheelchair blueprint, Master Wang asked excitedly, ”Sheng Family girl, did you draw this wheelchair?”

Yuan Chun replied, ”Yes, I drew it. I’m curious if you can make it, Master Wang?”

Yuan Chun had three wheelchairs in her space, but she forgot which small world she collected them from, and since the wheelchairs didn’t fit this era, she couldn’t just use them directly.

Instead, she drew this diagram based on one of the automated wheelchairs produced in the twentieth century.

Master Wang nodded happily, ”Yes, as long as you have the blueprint, I can make any vehicle for you.”

Another technician, Master Zhou, approached, looked at the blueprint, and exclaimed, ”This wheelchair is great. If people with crippled legs or bedridden patients could sit in such a wheelchair, they’d be lucky.”

Director Gao’s eyes lit up at his words, ”Yuan Chun, will you sell this blueprint?”

”Uncle Gao, do you want to produce and sell this wheelchair?”

”Yuan Chun, name your price. Our bicycle factory wants to buy your blueprint.”

”Uncle Gao, I don’t know about such matters. How about you decide on the price?” Yuan Chun thought, accepting the free deal, why not?

Director Gao, being generous, gave Yuan Chun three thousand yuan, buying this blueprint.

When Yuan Chun left the bicycle factory, her small carry bag contained a whopping three thousand nine hundred yuan. Director Gao worried about her carrying so much money home, so he called two people from the security department to escort her.

Yuan Chun said, ”Take me to the bank. I plan to deposit this money; keeping it at home isn’t safe.”

”Yes, yes, let them take you to the bank.”
