.........

After half an hour of continuous shooting, Lin Feng finally cleared out these unidentified flying creatures. At the same time, Lin Feng’s battle armor was covered in the blood of these creatures.

To Lin Feng’s surprise, this blood did not freeze in the extremely low temperature but slowly dripped down his battle armor.

Lin Feng glanced at the gold coins in his spatial ring and was immediately startled. They had piled up into a small mountain?!

This was at least tens of thousands of gold coins, right??

He hadn’t expected there to be so many unknown creatures just now, no wonder he had completely drained a battery.

At this moment, Lin Feng was still holding the corpse of an unknown creature in his hand. This creature had light blue skin and white blood, looking somewhat like a bat.

Lin Feng immediately took out his scanning gun and scanned it.

“Beep”

[Polar Guardian Bat, from a world full of possibilities: They are born in ice and snow, bearing the mission of guarding the Polar Mountain Range. Any creature approaching the Polar Mountain Range will be besieged by them. The skin of the Polar Guardian Bat can effectively resist the severe cold of the Polar Mountain Range.

If you want to explore the Polar Mountain Range, it is recommended that you first use its skin to make a warm piece of clothing.]

“A world full of possibilities? Holy crap, this is a permanent floor!!”

Lin Feng looked at the Polar Mountain Range in front of him. Didn’t that mean this place was where Kuze was preparing to search for treasure?

This mountain range was indeed high, and there was no slope at all, just like a straight wall of ice. Normal people truly couldn’t cross it.

However, Lin Feng still wanted to try.

After skinning the flying bat’s corpse in his hand, he casually threw it away. Then Lin Feng opened his helmet and pulled out Ben Shu.

“Squeak squeak! What are you doing?!”

“I made you some clothes, so you won’t be afraid of the cold anymore.”

Lin Feng chuckled, then took out a cloth from his spatial ring, simply wiped the blood from the flying bat’s skin, and directly put it on Ben Shu.

“Squeak!!!”

“Shut up, just bear with it for a bit. When we go back, I’ll treat you to gourmet food you’ve never had before, how about it?”

“You said it!”

“Mm, I said it.”

“Alright, Ben Shu agrees to this deal.”

Ben Shu poked his head out with a look of disdain.

Then he wiggled his nose, searching for different scents amidst the extremely cold temperature.

“How is it?”

“Found it.”

Ben Shu slowly opened his eyes.

“This treasure, it’s a good one!”

“Where?”

Lin Feng quickly asked.

Then he saw Ben Shu point to the sky, and Lin Feng immediately understood, grabbing Ben Shu and flying upwards again.

Another half an hour passed, and the battle armor ascended about another thousand meters.

At this point, it was almost reaching its limit. After all, this battle armor was not designed for flying. Normally, it wouldn’t be able to fly this high, but Lin Feng had an infinite energy orb, so he forcibly flew to this height relying on the infinite energy.

“Not there yet?”

“Almost, fly a little higher.”

Ben Shu made squeaking sounds, and Lin Feng had no choice but to charge upwards again.

Finally, after ascending another few hundred meters, Lin Feng saw a cave entrance. At this point, he couldn’t care less about anything else and quickly controlled his battle armor to fly inside, but the top of the mountain was still out of sight, as if it had no end.

“Squeak squeak, this is it! It’s inside.”

“Finally found it.”

Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief, then activated night mode and walked into this cave located over six thousand meters high in the sky.

He didn’t even need to think to know that this cave was definitely not simple; it might be some kind of creature’s nest.

However, the life detection radar at this moment did not show any creatures present, so Lin Feng walked inside with peace of mind.

As he went deeper, many blue-glowing gems appeared in the cave, making it much brighter.

Unfortunately, these gems were not ice crystal stones.

“Big Black, turn off night mode.”

“Okay, sir.”

“Ben Shu, do you know how much further until we find the treasure?”

“Keep going forward, it’s already within reach!”

“Alright.”

Lin Feng nodded and continued walking forward.

At this moment, the life detection radar still hadn’t detected any life forms, but Lin Feng felt something was off.

He still trusted his intuition greatly. After all, in the past, when he didn’t have so much high-tech assistance, Lin Feng had relied on his own feelings to save his life.

Therefore, Lin Feng’s steps gradually slowed down at this moment, and he looked at the path ahead with a hint of caution.

Just then, Lin Feng suddenly noticed some small cracks appearing on the ice wall.

And they were constantly expanding.

They weren’t there when he first entered the cave...

At this moment, the cracks suddenly widened drastically and rapidly spread outwards. Lin Feng, feeling that something was wrong, wanted to escape, but the next moment the cave collapsed with a roar, directly burying Lin Feng.

Fortunately, Lin Feng had protected Ben Shu beneath him beforehand, which prevented him from becoming a hash brown.

“Damn it, Ben Shu, look at the great path you led me on!”

Lin Feng looked at Ben Shu through gritted teeth.

“Squeak squeak! I didn’t take the wrong path, let me go first, the treasure seems to be right above, Ben Shu will go up and look.”

To prove that he hadn’t led them astray, Ben Shu directly pried open Lin Feng’s fingers, then squeezed out from a gap in the ice with difficulty.

Lin Feng, currently crushed under a large amount of ice, heard Ben Shu’s words and didn’t move recklessly. Instead, he waited for Ben Shu to return with the treasure. If he were to push away these ice chunks directly, the treasure might also be gone.

At this moment, Ben Shu, who was constantly finding gaps in the ice to climb upwards, was numb. Yes, he was frozen numb.

Although his body was protected by the flying bat skin and wasn’t cold, his claws were cold.

Every time he gripped the ice, a sharp pain would shoot through his claws.

Fortunately, he climbed out very quickly.

And ran all the way to find the treasure located on top of the ice.

A dark, cube-shaped object.

Ben Shu didn’t know what it was, but he knew this thing was the treasure Lin Feng had been searching for.

So he immediately returned the way he came.

Ten minutes later, he was back in Lin Feng’s palm.

“Squeak squeak, Ben Shu found it, ha! Hahahaha! Ben Shu is frozen to death.”

Ben Shu comically rubbed his hands and kept blowing hot air on them.

And as Lin Feng held the cube in his hand, the system and Elevator’s notification sounds rang out simultaneously.

“Beep, congratulations, Host, for completing the mission. Rewards have been issued, please check.”

[Ding dong, Seekers have completed the mission. Please return to the Elevator as soon as possible to submit the item and obtain upgrade permission.]

“Boom!”

The Elevator door appeared in front of Lin Feng. Lin Feng also struggled out of the ice pile, just about to return to the Elevator.

His shoulder suddenly sank.
