Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Excited KuzeAfter equipping the armor, Lin Feng stepped into the permanent floor.

“System, how do I use this navigation?”

“Beep, the host can summon it in his mind, then find the desired destination on it to mark, or directly state the name of the place he wants to go.”

“Alright.”

Lin Feng quickly marked the town’s location, then operated the armor to speed away.

This time, the speed of flying to the town was a bit faster than before, taking only three hours.

It was a full hour faster.

Upon arriving in town, Lin Feng rushed to Qinghe Inn without stopping.

Seeing the giant dragon at the inn’s entrance, Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief.

Kuze was still here.

However, as Lin Feng was about to enter the courtyard, he was stopped by the guards at the entrance.

“This is Young Master Kuze’s residence, no approaching allowed!”

“Hmm? There were no guards last time.”

Lin Feng frowned. Although he could force his way in, these were, after all, Kuze’s subordinates, and doing so would certainly not be good.

So he said in a friendly tone:

“Brother Kuze, I am friends with Young Master Kuze. If you don’t believe me, you can go in and inform him, just say that someone named Lin Feng is here to see him.”

“Lin Feng? You are Lin Feng?”

The two burly guards immediately showed fawning smiles after hearing the person in front of them claim to be Lin Feng.

“Oh, it’s Lin Gongzi. My apologies, my apologies. Young Master Kuze has already informed us. Please come in, please come in.”

The two guards immediately made way and even pushed the large gate open for Lin Feng, bowing as they ushered him in.

Only after entering the courtyard did Lin Feng realize that there were quite a few more servants here.

“What’s going on?”

Without time to think too much, Lin Feng immediately went to Kuze’s room.

“Brother Kuze!”

Lin Feng shouted from outside the room. Kuze, who was reading a “sage’s book” in the room at the time, heard Lin Feng’s voice and quickly hid the book in a drawer.

Then, with a joyful expression, he stood by the window and let Lin Feng in.

.........

“Brother Lin! How do you have time to come find me?”

Kuze was very happy to see Lin Feng.

“Of course, I’m bringing you something good.”

Lin Feng showed a mysterious smile, then looked at the clothes Kuze was wearing and was immediately stunned.

“Your clothes…..”

“Oh! I had a tailor make a replica of your clothes. How is it, does it look similar?”

Kuze proudly patted the imitation 01 Type Armor he was wearing.

Lin Feng: ………

Suddenly, how to deal with being speechless!

This feeling was like seeing someone on the street wearing a T-shirt with a Genshin Impact character printed on it, and then they come over and ask you, “Is my wife pretty?”

“Forget it, you should throw away these clothes as soon as possible, Brother Kuze. What do you think of these two pieces of clothing? I went through countless hardships, killed thousands of monsters to gather the materials, and then entrusted someone to make these two pieces of clothing.”

“Whichever one you like, just take it!”

Lin Feng placed the Basic Soldier Armor and the 00 Type Officer Armor in front of him, and Kuze’s eyes brightened a few shades.

“Can I have either of these two?”

Kuze asked impatiently. As a rich young master, this was the first time he had been so interested in an item, and the most crucial thing was that this item was merely a set of clothing.

“That’s right, pick whichever you like.”

Lin Feng nodded, secretly chuckling. He had just observed Kuze’s gaze and found that most of his attention was drawn to the Basic Soldier Armor.

So, Kuze would most likely choose the Basic Soldier Armor in the end.

At this moment, Kuze’s thoughts were similar to Lin Feng’s predictions.

In his opinion, the Basic Soldier Armor simply looked better than the 00 Type Armor.

Especially the small accessories hanging on it, which deeply pleased Kuze.

(These small accessories were various tactical equipment; the 00 Type Armor did not have many.)

“I’ll take this one, Brother Lin. How much!”

Kuze said grandly.

“No, no, no, it’s not for money.”

Lin Feng chuckled and waved his hand in refusal.

“Not for money? How can that be! I, Kuze, don’t have the habit of taking things for free. That’s a bad habit of dissolute young masters. You must give me a price today!”

Kuze said excitedly. He thought Lin Feng was afraid to ask for money because he was powerful and influential.

However, this guy was purely overthinking it.

Seeing that the other party thought this way, Lin Feng simply went along with his words and started fabricating a story.

“Alas, Brother Kuze, I know you are upright, positive, a graceful, both civil and military, knowledgeable, experienced, and extremely talented young master, disdaining to be grouped with those dissolute ones….”

“So, I actually have something to ask of you.”

At this moment, Kuze had already been flattered to the heavens by Lin Feng’s continuous flattery.

His CPU was spinning along with Lin Feng’s words.

“What is it! Brother Lin, just say it. As long as it doesn’t violate our family’s interests, I’ll help you with anything!”

Kuze fanned himself with his folding fan, putting on an act.

Seeing that the groundwork was almost laid, Lin Feng spoke.

“Can you help me get some introductory magic textbooks?”

“Ah? Is that all! I thought it was something serious. Forget textbooks, I can even hire a private tutor for you directly!”

Kuze snapped his folding fan shut.

“Really?”

“A gentleman’s word, once spoken, cannot be unsaid!”

“Hahaha, then thank you, Brother Kuze!”

Lin Feng said, beaming with joy. Now he could learn magic without going to the magic academy, right?

“By the way, Brother Lin, have you done your affinity test? What’s the result? Let me see.”

“Oh, it’s medium-low, probably pretty average.”

Lin Feng shrugged, then found the test results and handed them to Kuze.

“Not bad!”

“Huh?”

Seeing Kuze praise his talent, Lin Feng was momentarily unsure whether the other party was insulting him or genuinely praising him…

“Brother Lin, honestly, your talent is already good. I’m only medium-high, and most people are only low-tier, not to mention a large number of people who have no affinity at all.”

“I see, so mine is considered decent then?”

“Exactly! Oh, right, right, how do you wear this clothing? This young master wants to quickly put it on and go for a stroll, hahaha!”

Kuze quickly pulled Lin Feng, asking him to teach him how to wear the armor.

“Here, I’ll teach you. This attire is called the Ultimate Combat Armor. You just need to press this button and it will automatically put itself on. And it also has…”

After changing the armor’s name, Lin Feng told Kuze all about the armor’s configuration and how to use it.

Only then did Kuze realize that this outfit actually had hidden depths!

Especially the jetpack, which excited Kuze for quite a while.
