Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Imperial BattlefieldLin Feng successfully bit a few more times later.

However, he didn’t fish out anything useful. Despite his luck value of 52, he only found one pair of useful boots among all the things he fished out.

No wonder 101 never fished out anything useful; the probability is too low!

But, it must be said, Ben Shu still had some skill.

At the very least, this fishing rod was genuinely useful.

And what about Ben Shu at this moment?

He was standing on a wooden stake, wearing a straw hat on his head. He had no idea where he got it from, but it fit perfectly.

”Ben Shu, I finally mastered it!”

Whoosh!

A sharp little stone flew from Ben Shu’s hand, shooting towards the tree trunk in front like an arrow.

Thud!

With a dull thud, the small stone successfully embedded itself in the tree trunk.

”Hahaha! I’m amazing!”

Of course, all of this looked amazing only in Ben Shu’s eyes.

In reality, Ben Shu was only 1.5 meters from the tree trunk, and the tree trunk was a rotten piece of wood soaked in water.

However, even this small achievement made him happy for a long time.

At this moment, Lin Feng leaned against the Elevator door, watching it all.

He watched with a smile as Ben Shu got excited over his improved strength.

It was exactly like the first time he took a Body Strengthening Pill and did hundreds of push-ups.

..........

”Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is the Imperial Battlefield. A brutal war has just taken place there, and there may still be surviving Soldier. Please proceed with caution, host. This floor is a war of advanced technological civilization. Please proceed with caution, host.”

”Beep, attention, this floor has no rules. The host can refuse to enter.”

”Advanced technological civilization?!”

Hearing the system’s prompt, Lin Feng quickly bit off the noodles in his mouth.

Advanced technological civilization!

There’s no need to explain these six words too much, right?

The system specifically told him that this battlefield belonged to an advanced technological civilization. Didn’t that mean he should go in and pick up scraps, oh wait, pick up something good?

Even if it was just a pile of broken guns from an advanced technological civilization, once repaired, they would be laser guns.

Currently, the price of a single laser gun on the Trading Floor is two to three thousand gold coins, not to mention its price in the Elevator Exchange.

And Lin Feng had never put any of the laser weapons he had previously obtained up for sale; he had only given one to Qin An.

After finishing his bowl of braised beef noodles in a few quick bites, Lin Feng put on his armor, picked up his weapons, and quietly waited for the Elevator’s announcement.

....................

[Ding dong! The Elevator is descending. Please hold on tight.]

After more than ten seconds, the Elevator gradually came to a stop, and the door opened to reveal a tall forest outside.

In the sky, countless twinkling stars could still be seen, as well as a scene of the sun and moon shining together.

”Don’t come in, there might be danger.”

Seeing the little dragon and Ben Shu trying to follow him in, Lin Feng waved his hand, sending them back.

So... where was the battlefield?

Lin Feng walked forward cautiously. After passing through the dense grass in front of him, the scene that appeared before his eyes left Lin Feng in shock.

A boundless battlefield.

A crashed starship seemed to be the center of the battlefield. The ground was covered with the wreckage of robots, and in addition to the remains of robot Soldier, there were also bodies of human Soldier.

”Big Black, activate the life detection radar.”

”Okay, Mr. Lin, life detection radar activated, scanning now....”

Looking at the empty radar map, Lin Feng frowned.

Could it be that no one survived?

This... that shouldn’t be possible, right?

At this moment, Lin Feng’s attention was drawn to two intertwined bodies.

Both were human bodies, and the reason they caught Lin Feng’s attention was that the armor worn by one of the bodies was very similar to his own.

It was also grayish-white.

The appearance was basically the same. The only difference was that Lin Feng’s armor helmet had the number ’01’ engraved on it, while this person’s helmet had the number ’00’.

The other person, meanwhile, was wearing black and red armor, and a now-extinguished laser sword in his hand was firmly embedded in the other person’s heart.

He seemed to have died from a cannon blast, with a plate-sized hole in his body.

The weapons and equipment on both of these people must have been damaged.

However, don’t forget what Lin Feng has!

Is the Universal Hammer a joke to you?

Lin Feng chuckled, then stripped both bodies clean.

Afterward, Lin Feng began his path of scraping the earth.

Laser swords, laser guns, assault rifles, Exoskeleton Armor—and of course, there were also many giant mech wrecks, over ten meters, or even dozens of meters tall, which Lin Feng couldn’t take away.

They were too big; he couldn’t fit them.

Just as Lin Feng was happily picking up scraps, a faint voice suddenly came from a pile of robot wreckage.

”Help me.... Is, is there anyone still alive?”

Listening to the intermittent and somewhat distorted voice, Lin Feng immediately stood up.

The life detection radar hadn’t shown any signs of life.

”Mr. Lin, a distress signal has been detected twenty meters from you, coming from a Z-type assault Soldier armor.”

Just as Lin Feng was wondering, Big Black spoke.

Then a blinking red dot appeared on the radar map.

It was only twenty meters away from him.

If nothing unexpected happened, it would be a Soldier who survived this war.

However, should he save him?

Lin Feng stood still, pondering for a moment, and still decided to save his life.

Based on the styles of these armors on the battlefield, the white-haired elder sister’s armor he was wearing should have come from one of the two factions.

Saving a person wasn’t difficult for him, so if he could save him, he should.

Lin Feng’s true inner thought: Actually, buddy, I’m eyeing his armor, but I’m afraid it will self-destruct if I forcibly take it off, so that’s why I’m saving him, hehe~

Soon, Lin Feng followed the instructions on the radar map and arrived at the ruins.

Many severed limbs and mechanical parts were covering it.

After a few simple pushes, Lin Feng saw an arm struggling continuously. The palm was gone, leaving only the arm, and dazzling white bone could be seen at the connection between the wrist and the palm.

”Don’t move, I’ll pull you out.”

The amplified voice came from the armor.

The Soldier trapped under the ruins stopped moving. Lin Feng spent over ten minutes successfully clearing all the debris, and then saw a Soldier in tattered armor looking at him with longing.

The armor had over twenty holes, and electric sparks were constantly coming out of it.

Fortunately, the oxygen mask on the helmet was not damaged, otherwise, this Soldier would have died from lack of oxygen long ago.

PS: In the previous chapter, ’ability’ was written next to the protagonist’s attribute panel name. That was my mistake, and it has been deleted. Readers who read it before the change, please automatically ignore it (not included in the main text word count).
