Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The floor businessman climbed out of the pool again“If I include the Physique attribute gained from this skill, my current Physique should be 126, right?”

Lin Feng did a quick calculation, pondering.

With over a hundred Physique, taking a handgun shot at close range… that shouldn’t be too much, right?

Without further ado, Lin Feng pulled out the Desert Eagle from under his pillow, aimed it at his arm, and prepared to fire.

That’s right, he didn’t choose a small-caliber pistol like a Glock.

If he was going to do it, he had to go big.

“Whew!”

After a few deep breaths, Lin Feng closed his eyes and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

A gunshot rang out, and a numb, painful sensation came from the bullet’s impact point, making Lin Feng break out in a cold sweat.

However, the good news was that only a streak of blood appeared on his skin.

The bullet did not penetrate his flesh.

“It seems I can now withstand some small-caliber firearms without a problem.”

Seeing the result, Lin Feng nodded with satisfaction.

However, he wasn’t hard everywhere; his eyes were his weakness.

With the help of self-healing, the pain in his arm quickly disappeared.

Thump!

Just then, a splash suddenly came from the Infinite Pool, startling Huang Dou, who was sleeping on it, several dozen centimeters into the air.

“Squeak! What happened?!”

Huang Dou, landing on the floor, took a face-plant, shaking his head in confusion.

“Awooo!”

Little Dragon immediately opened his mouth, poised to blast the Infinite Pool.

However, Lin Feng stopped him. He had to figure out what it was first. What if it was something good and Little Dragon’s breath incinerated it into ash? That would be a loss.

“Where is this?”

A Floor Merchant pushed open the iron plate covering the pool and crawled out.

He scratched his head, looked around, and finally fixed his gaze on Lin Feng.

Because Lin Feng had their friendly aura.

Possessing this aura indicated that Lin Feng frequently traded with them, which meant Lin Feng was friendly.

So the Floor Merchant quickly adjusted his mindset, then immediately started promoting his goods, completely shedding his previous bewildered look.

“Oh! Esteemed guest, I apologize for disturbing you. I don’t know why I ended up here, but since I’m here, would you like to buy something?”

“I just happened to bring many useful items.”

“Okay, what do you have?”

Lin Feng nodded and asked.

“Let me introduce them to you.”

With that, the Floor Merchant took out the items from his cowhide backpack one by one, and Little Dragon and Huang Dou also curiously gathered around.

“This is a mechanical arm with 100% compatibility for anyone. If you accidentally lose an arm in the future, you can directly attach this mechanical arm. It costs 300 gold coins. How about it, want to keep one as a backup?”

“No need, I have a repair pod.”

Lin Feng pointed to the repair pod not far away, explaining that the repair pod could heal all injuries, even severed limbs.

“Oh, alright. Then you’ll definitely be interested in this: the Infinite Torch! Once lit, it will burn continuously, unless you put it in water…”

“Stop! I have this too…”

“Uh…”

The Floor Merchant in front of him looked a bit awkward, then stopped dawdling and directly dumped out all his items.

“Which one caught your eye? I’ll introduce it to you.”

Lin Feng looked through the items on the ground and found that he recognized many of them.

However, he still chose to purchase some potions.

A total of three Strength Potions, one Speed Potion, one Intelligence Potion, and one Physique Potion.

“What is this?”

Lin Feng asked, pointing to a ring.

“Oh, this is a Storage Ring. It can store ten cubic meters of items.”

“A Storage Ring, huh…”

Lin Feng thought it was also for increasing attributes. Although he currently had items for storage, a ring was clearly more convenient. A cowhide backpack, needing to be carried, was sometimes not very practical.

This Storage Ring, with ten cubic meters of storage space, could actually hold quite a lot of things.

“How much?”

“Hehe, discounted price, 500 gold coins.”

“450 gold coins, deal or no deal?”

“Ah? Sir, the price I gave you is already 50% off.”

“Just tell me, deal or no deal.”

“This… Alright, seeing as you’re a regular customer, deal!”

The Floor Merchant looked heartbroken. Of course, Lin Feng knew he was faking it. He still remembered that a potion that once cost ten gold coins now only cost one gold coin.

So, do you still think this guy would lose money?

Lin Feng even suspected that when the Floor Merchant acquired potions, he didn’t even pay in gold coins, but in silver coins.

“Boss, six potions, one Storage Ring, a total of 456 gold coins. Thank you for your patronage.”

“Hmm, here’s your money. Oh, by the way, I want to ask you about someone.”

“Please, Boss.”

The Floor Merchant, having received the gold coins, even spoke with joy in his voice.

“Do you know Kola?”

“Kola?”

“Yes, he’s a merchant like you.”

“I know, I’ve heard that name.”

The Floor Merchant in front of him scratched his head, looking thoughtful.

“Oh! I remember now! Isn’t Kola that guy who sold off all his assets to buy treasures everywhere? I heard he got a big order, but who knows when that guy will find his employer, hahaha, maybe he was scammed.”

The Floor Merchant shrugged, his tone carrying a hint of pity.

After all, gold coins were very important to Floor Merchants like them. Generally, no Floor Merchant would go to such extremes as Kola.

“Boss, anything else you want to ask?”

“No.”

Lin Feng shook his head.

“Alright! Goodbye, Boss!”

The Floor Merchant in front of him looked around, then lifted the iron plate and jumped directly into the Infinite Pool.

“Goodness, he really treats it like a teleportation gate, huh.”

Lin Feng gave a wry smile.

But… judging by what that Floor Merchant just said, Kola’s situation seems to be quite dire.

If he did another zero-dollar purchase, wouldn’t that guy just go bankrupt?

Lin Feng suddenly felt a little bit of pity.

“Forget it, I’ll deal with it later. Maybe this zero-dollar purchase silver coin is very valuable to Floor Merchants.”

After a sigh, Lin Feng suddenly remembered something.

“Damn! I forgot to scan that Floor Merchant just now to see what kind of creature they are!”

Lin Feng had always intended to use the scanning gun on a Floor Merchant the next time he encountered one, but he actually forgot this time!
