Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Intruder? The reward for the eleventh floor was a bomb; once the fuse was lit with fire and it was thrown, it would explode. It felt heavy, so its power shouldn’t be small.

Upon reaching the twelfth floor, it was empty. There were no rewards or monsters. On the thirteenth floor, he obtained a fruit that permanently increased strength; consuming it permanently added two points to strength.

The fourteenth floor yielded...

After passing the twentieth floor, Lin Feng’s equipment was updated again. In addition to his longsword, he now had a flintlock pistol, and his chainmail had been replaced with plate armor. Aside from somewhat obstructing his vision, everything else was good.

He also had two healing potions and one temporary speed-boosting potion, which similarly increased his speed by 10 points temporarily.

Arriving at the twenty-first floor, a man was sitting there.

After Lin Feng arrived on this floor, the man looked up at Lin Feng but said nothing.

At this moment, Lin Feng also vigilantly scrutinized the man in front of him.

His face was obscured by a skull mask, making it unclear.

The clothes he wore appeared to be ordinary attire, yet they glowed with a purple light.

He held no weapon in his hand.

Just as Lin Feng was drawing his bow and notching an arrow, preparing to make the first move, the man suddenly spoke.

“Do you know where my brother is? He looks a lot like me.”

The man slowly raised his head and removed his mask.

The face beneath the mask was sharply defined, yet Lin Feng felt an indescribable sense of familiarity.

Wait!

Isn’t that my face?

Lin Feng immediately felt a wave of discomfort, and the bowstring in his hand instantly loosened.

The arrow flew accurately towards the man, but just then, a black-clad figure appeared in front of the man, blocking the arrow for him.

Subsequently, more and more black-clad figures appeared out of thin air.

Each one was heavily covered, with nothing visible except a pair of glowing red eyes.

“Puppets? Or something else?”

Without time to think, Lin Feng drew his longsword and began to slash.

Facing the encirclement of over twenty black-clad figures, Lin Feng was not at a disadvantage at all, but he was also shocked by their strength.

Through his engagement with them, Lin Feng was able to analyze the approximate strength of these black-clad figures: their strength attribute was average, probably only around thirty, but their speed and agility were truly high, possibly already over a hundred.

With such high agility and speed, even Lin Feng found it a bit difficult to fight them, but he wasn’t getting injured; it was just a tough fight.

As for their defense, it should also be around thirty or forty.

Some black-clad figures were still lively after being cut three or four times by Lin Feng, which was quite absurd.

However, after killing several black-clad figures, Lin Feng confirmed that these were not humans; upon death, they would turn into a puff of black smoke and dissipate.

“Are these illusions or some kind of puppets?”

Lin Feng said while swinging his longsword.

At this moment, he noticed that these black-clad figures seemed endless; there were always five or six of them attacking him at once.

This can’t go on.

Lin Feng’s gaze fell on the man sitting behind them.

It seems I need to deal with that guy first.

However, when Lin Feng tried to approach the man with all his might, more and more black-clad figures surrounded him.

They were endless, simply endless.

It seems I can only use a method that harms a thousand enemies but also damages myself by eight hundred.

Lin Feng quickly distanced himself from the black-clad figures, then took a torch from the wall, lit the bomb, and threw it.

The fuse burned for only three seconds before it instantly exploded.

A ball of red flame appeared from the center of the explosion, and then a powerful shockwave once again sent Lin Feng flying.

The power of this bomb... was indeed just as he had guessed.

After quickly drinking a healing potion, Lin Feng looked at the man who had also been blown away and rejoiced.

He charged forward with his longsword.

How dare you impersonate me? Today, I’ll show you that your Lin Daddy’s face isn’t so easy to imitate.

This man clearly had no strength; his attack ability was probably just summoning black-clad figures.

In the blink of an eye, Lin Feng’s sword fell upon the man’s head.

“You… you damned invaders…”

As soon as the man landed, the longsword split his head in two.

Subsequently, the man’s corpse turned into a puff of black smoke and vanished.

“Invaders? Me?”

Lin Feng put away his longsword but noted down this sentence, planning to record it in his notebook after returning to the Elevator.

To Lin Feng’s surprise, there was no reward on this floor!

Oh, no, it couldn’t be said there was nothing.

After the man disappeared, his clothes were left behind. They still glowed with a purple light, but they had become tattered.

“Forget it, I’ll take it back and see what it is.”

Sighing, Lin Feng rolled up the clothes and stuffed them into his backpack.

Arriving at the twenty-second floor, the difficulty decreased somewhat. There were several short, bare-chested figures wielding machetes.

They were shouting in a language Lin Feng couldn’t understand.

It was only through his human language translator that Lin Feng understood what these short figures were saying.

Short Figure A: “Quickly kill this person in front of us, and we can leave this place, hahaha!”

Short Figure B: “Where did the chicken leg I just ate go?”

Short Figure C: “I don’t know, don’t ask me.” (Chewing sounds)

Short Figure D: “I want to go back and eat the roasted meat my mom made!”

Short Figure E: “Why does this challenger look so dazed? Is there something wrong with his intelligence?”

..........

Well, it would have been better not to translate; Lin Feng had thought he might get something useful, but it was all just rambling.

Seeing that Lin Feng remained still, the five short figures picked up their respective weapons and actively walked towards him.

Lin Feng immediately entered combat mode.

He wouldn’t underestimate these people just because of their small stature.

Ultimately, Lin Feng successfully dealt with the five short figures.

They still had some strength.

Their strength should be around ninety, but their speed and agility were mediocre, similar to an ordinary person.

After he dealt with them, a black box appeared in the middle of the floor.

Upon opening it, Lin Feng found a flaming spiked club inside.

The flames on it looked as if they were from a Fire Enchantment.

Arriving at the twenty-third floor.

Lin Feng’s eyes lit up slightly as he looked at the creature on this floor.

A Floor Merchant! Damn, it’s been so long since I encountered one; I finally ran into one.

But he didn’t bring any gold coins.

Lin Feng scratched his head.

“Hello Seekers, would you like to buy something?”

The Floor Merchant spoke directly upon seeing Lin Feng.

He then took out a large pile of items from his satchel.

And introduced each one to Lin Feng.

Just what he needed!

However, just as Lin Feng was about to choose an item, his danger perception suddenly activated.

He saw a gleaming dagger flying towards him, with some unknown sticky liquid on it.

A fake Floor Merchant?
