Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Comprehensive strength rankingAfter putting all the recovered miscellaneous items up for sale on the Exchange, the Seekers who had been following him immediately posted Lin Feng’s latest news in the chat channel.

After some discussion, they concluded that two Seekers, lured by the bounty, had already died by Lin Feng’s hand.

However, there were many desperate individuals, so the hunt for Lin Feng would only become more dangerous.

Just then, the Elevator’s broadcast suddenly rang out.

”Ding dong! The first phase of survival has ended. The comprehensive strength ranking of Seekers is now open. The difficulty of exploring the floors will increase. All lucky survivors, please prepare yourselves.”

After the broadcast, a new section appeared on the Elevator screen.

This section was the comprehensive strength ranking.

There were over 200 million pages of names, which should include all the Seekers who had survived.

The ranking displayed on each person’s screen was their own, so there was no need to search for it.

Lin Feng, of course, held the top spot.

Second place: Song Ce

Third place: Adrian

Fourth place: Qin An

Fifth place: Li Feng

These were the top five; there was no need to list the rest.

With the introduction of a ranking system, naturally, there were also rewards.

Soon, the Elevator broadcast sounded again.

”Ding dong! The second phase of survival has begun. After it ends, mysterious rewards will be issued based on the comprehensive ranking.”

In the chatroom.

”So when does the second phase end?”

”What I’m more concerned about is how much the difficulty of the second phase has increased.”

”I feel like the difficulty of the floors is already very high; I haven’t encountered a peaceful floor in a long time.”

”But the good news is, it seems the Elevator’s temperature hasn’t changed this time. My temperature is normal here, what about yours?”

”Same, it’s twenty-two degrees Celsius right now.”

”Damn, Lin Feng is indeed number one. I wonder how many good things he has on him.”

............

The sudden changes caused many people to lose sleep, thinking about how to deal with the increasingly difficult floors.

However, Lin Feng didn’t care much. He ate his fill and went to sleep, completely stress-free.

Soon, the first floor after entering the second phase arrived.

Lin Feng was also woken up by the system’s notification.

”Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is ’Voyage’. This floor is a giant cruise ship. There are five Seekers on the cruise ship. The condition for leaving is: the cruise ship safely arrives at the port.

Note: In addition to Seekers, there are many indigenous residents on the cruise ship, including some Evil Cultists. Their mission is to blow up the cruise ship.

Entry to this floor cannot be refused, and no items can be carried.”

After listening to the system’s introduction, Lin Feng quickly analyzed the situation.

From a broad perspective, the Seekers entering this floor should be in a cooperative relationship, as they all have a common mission: to prevent the Evil Cultists from blowing up the cruise ship and ensure its safe arrival at the port.

Only by completing this mission could they leave.

However, the system didn’t say that Seekers on this floor couldn’t harm each other, so Lin Feng felt it was still necessary to guard against other Seekers.

His bounty of one thousand gold coins was probably no longer a secret.

”Ding dong! The Elevator is descending. Please hold on tight.”

After the Elevator stopped, the iron door opened. Lin Feng walked out without hesitation, facing the light curtain.

After passing through the light curtain, he appeared in a narrow room.

The room had a table, a single bed, and a chair.

At this point, Lin Feng’s clothes had also changed: a white long-sleeved shirt + black vest, with a black apron in front, clearly a waiter’s uniform.

Indeed, his name tag pinned to his chest read: ”Waiter No. 56.”

”Damn, this identity is too trashy.”

Just then, the Elevator’s broadcast sounded.

”Ding dong! All Seekers, please diligently perform your duties and protect the cruise ship until it reaches its destination. Once the cruise ship arrives at its destination, you may leave this floor. Rewards will be issued based on your performance.”

It was similar to the system’s prompt, except it didn’t mention the presence of Evil Cultists on the cruise ship.

”Let’s go outside and take a look first.”

This small room was really quite narrow; it was only good for sleeping.

After pushing open the door, Lin Feng looked around. At the same time, the other four Seekers also pushed open their doors and emerged.

There were two chefs, one bartender, and one waiter, just like Lin Feng.

”Lin Feng?”

The few Seekers recognized Lin Feng’s identity at a glance. Thinking about his bounty, now worth one thousand gold coins, desire began to spread in their hearts.

However, they ultimately did nothing, as they hadn’t yet figured out the rules here.

This place didn’t look like a lawless zone. Even if they could kill Lin Feng, their subsequent days probably wouldn’t be easy.

Just then, the bartender proactively stepped forward.

”On this floor, there’s no conflict of interest between us, and we all have a common mission. Why don’t we cooperate?”

”Cooperate? I don’t see the need. This floor doesn’t seem dangerous at all. Couldn’t we just wait for the cruise ship to reach its destination?”

One chef shrugged.

”Don’t forget, this Elevator is descending this time. Descending means there’s danger.”

”Haha, you actually believe such hearsay?”

He laughed mockingly at the other waiter’s words.

”Alright, alright. If there’s no need to cooperate, then I hope we can maintain a peaceful coexistence. After all, we’re all from the same place. By the way, my name is Paul, what about yours?”

”That’s fine. My name is Luo Te.”

The chef replied.

The other chef was from Xia, named Huang Honglin.

The other waiter was also from Xia, named Song Ce. That’s right, he was the one ranked second in comprehensive combat power.

He wasn’t tall, barely about 1.7 meters.

”As for me, I don’t need to introduce myself, do I?”

Lin Feng smiled at the others.

”I know, Lin Feng. Your head is worth one thousand gold coins, so you’d better be careful.”

Paul, the bartender, said, though it was unclear if his words were a friendly reminder or a threat to Lin Feng.

Aside from Song Ce, the others looked at Lin Feng with a hint of ill-will.

Just then, a person dressed in casual clothes walked over.

”You must be the new employees, right? Follow me, I’ll take you to your workplaces.”

Along the way, this person explained the overall layout of the cruise ship to them.

This cruise ship was three hundred and sixty meters long, with a total tonnage of two hundred and twenty thousand tons.

Its entertainment facilities were also quite complete, including a children’s water park, a full-sized basketball court, an ice rink, a 10-story high zip line, a theater with 1,400 seats, an outdoor aquatic theater, two 13m climbing walls, a park with over 20,000 tropical plants, and many other entertainment facilities.
