Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Flame Great Sword, Super PotionIn the fourth room, there was a giant boulder, and a greatsword burning with flames was stuck in it.

“Greatsword of Flame, only those strong enough can pull it out. Whoever obtains this sword will gain the power of flame.”

The wooden sign on the boulder read thus.

Tucking his pistol into his pocket, Lin Feng stepped forward and grasped the hilt with both hands.

He wondered if his strength of 80 points would be enough to pull it out. The power of flame sounded incredibly awesome.

“Hmph!”

Lin Feng exerted force with both hands, veins bulging on his arms.

The half-inserted blade began to loosen slowly. Accompanied by Lin Feng’s muffled grunt, the greatsword was slowly pulled out.

The greatsword was 1.2 meters long, reaching almost 1.5 meters with the hilt.

There were no fancy patterns on the blade, as the burning flames were its best decoration.

Feeling the heatwave in front of him, Lin Feng found the sword somewhat familiar.

Wasn’t it similar to his enchanted Tang Dao?

However, this sword required two-handed grip. After a few swings, Lin Feng was even more certain that it was just an enchanted greatsword.

It was just that the flames on it seemed to be superior to those on his own sword.

Perhaps the enchantment level was higher?

Lin Feng had thought this sword could directly shoot fireballs or something, but it turned out to be just this. And it even required a pulling-out process?

However, it was already quite good for this floor.

He could sell it later or give it to Qin An. He would ask him if he needed a weapon.

“This broken sword doesn’t even have a scabbard, I’m really speechless.”

Carrying such a greatsword was indeed inconvenient.

Forget it, he should hurry to the next room.

Dragging the greatsword, Lin Feng passed through the glass corridor and arrived at the fifth room.

In the fifth room, there was a well, and above the well, there was also a wooden sign.

“Wishing Well: Throw any item into the well to obtain a treasure.”

Anything?

There was nothing else in this room. Lin Feng looked at the items he had obtained: a dart, a pistol, a magazine, and the greatsword.

It seemed the dart was the most useless.

Casually throwing the dart in, Lin Feng leaned forward to look.

He saw the dart fall into the water, splashing, and then the sound of fireworks echoed. Two darts floated at the mouth of the well.

One golden, one silver.

“Ding-dong! Congratulations, Seekers, you have obtained one Golden Dart and one Silver Dart. Golden Dart: Can automatically lock onto enemies, incredibly hard, incredibly sharp. Its power depends on the throwing force.

Silver Dart: Cannot automatically lock on, possesses strong toxicity, incredibly hard, incredibly sharp. Its power depends on the throwing force.”

After the Elevator’s broadcast ended, the two darts flew into Lin Feng’s hands respectively.

“Damn! So whatever you throw in, you get an enhanced version of it?!”

Lin Feng stared dumbfounded at the Wishing Well in front of him.

If he had known earlier, he would have thrown this greatsword in!

Maybe he could have gotten a sword that shoots magic orbs.

“Ding-dong! The Wishing Well will automatically destroy itself in ten seconds. Seekers are requested to proceed to the next room as soon as possible to avoid premature elimination.”

Hearing the Elevator’s broadcast, Lin Feng abandoned the idea of trying again and hurried to the next room.

The sixth room was an empty room. After searching carefully, Lin Feng continued to the seventh room.

To his surprise, the seventh room was also empty.

“No way, is my luck attribute failing?”

Two empty rooms in a row. Damn, how unlucky could he be?

He looked at the two people next to him. Those two Seekers were still on the sixth floor, seemingly encountering hostile creatures. One had a zombie, and the other had a Skeleton Soldier.

Arriving at the eighth room, this time it was finally not empty. In the room, there was a huge, twenty-sided die.

“Roll the dice and receive a reward based on the number.”

After reading the words on the wooden sign, Lin Feng threw the greatsword to the ground, picked up the dice with both hands, and then threw it forcefully.

Clang, clang, clang, clang, clang....

Accompanied by a series of collisions, the die was about to stop at one, when suddenly, a strange gust of wind came from nowhere, blowing the die to 20 points.

After the die settled, a white light appeared, and a rainbow-colored potion emerged within the white light.

A label was affixed to the bottom of the potion.

“Super Potion: Upon consumption, gain a three-minute attribute boost: Speed +20, Strength +20, Agility +20, Sanity +20, Constitution +20, and top-tier healing ability.”

“The attributes are indeed awesome, but unfortunately, it only lasts for three minutes. I’m not a one-minute man.”

Although he said that, Lin Feng quickly put the potion into his pocket.

With this item, if he encountered that Special Mutant again, after putting on his battle armor, he could even confront it head-on.

The rewards on this floor were indeed abundant. Having obtained such a powerful potion, Lin Feng’s bad mood from encountering two empty rooms in a row was completely swept away.

Soon, he arrived at the eighth room.

Inside were five Skeleton Soldiers wielding bone knives and one green upright creature. This creature had no arms and was equally wide from top to bottom, moving by constantly crawling on its four lower legs.

The five Skeleton Soldiers had no combat power. Lin Feng easily cut them down. Just as he was about to kill the green creature, he saw it suddenly inflate. Vaguely, Lin Feng seemed to smell some gunpowder.

“Holy crap!!”

Looking at the green creature that was about to explode in front of him, Lin Feng quickly retreated and held the greatsword horizontally in front of him.

Boom!!

The self-destruction range of the green creature was very wide, directly covering the entire room. Just as Lin Feng was about to use emergency evasion to return to the Elevator, the greatsword that Lin Feng held horizontally in front of him suddenly propped up a fiery red shield and successfully blocked the terrifying explosion for Lin Feng.

After the threat ended, the shield also disappeared. Lin Feng looked at the greatsword in his hand in shock. He saw two shocking cracks appear on its blade, and the originally burning flames had extinguished.

He touched it with his hand and felt only coldness.

“Thanks, buddy. After I go back… I will definitely fix you.”

Lin Feng touched the cold blade and spoke slowly.

He admitted that he had indeed underestimated this unassuming greatsword.

He didn’t expect it to save his life at a crucial moment.

It should be able to return to its original state with the Universal Hammer, right?

After tying the greatsword to his back with his jacket, Lin Feng continued his journey.

..............

In the remaining seven rooms, Lin Feng gained a lot.

He only encountered one empty room.

The other items he obtained were: a rifle plus ten bullets, a tear that could heal mental trauma when consumed, a copper coin that could be sold to the Floor Merchant for 50 gold coins, a bulletproof vest that was very thin and probably only good for stopping pistol bullets.

A lucky ring and a hemostatic agent.
