Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Are there any more missions on Blue Star? After returning to the Elevator, Lin Feng stared at a small mountain of items inside, feeling quite troubled. There were many things he couldn’t even use. As for upgrade materials, they had all been automatically placed in the stockpile area.

To Lin Feng’s surprise, these three had contributed 7 upgrade sets and over two thousand gold coins to him.

It was just a pity there wasn’t a single ice crystal stone. Now, he had more than enough upgrade sets for the upgrade materials, only lacking five ice crystal stones.

With a sigh, he got up and went to the pile of miscellaneous items, giving it a quick look-over.

A little over two hours later, Lin Feng had listed all the useless items for sale on the Exchange. Not many things were left.

Three Strength Potions, one shiny golden apple, one laser short blade, three detox pills, three packs of cold medicine, four packs of anti-inflammatory medicine, one bottle of painkillers, two bottles of vitamins, one bottle of night vision potion, and finally, a Gatling gun. Unfortunately, it had no bullets. Lin Feng kept it purely because it looked cool.

In terms of practicality, it was definitely inferior to Lin Feng’s other weapons. However, as a decoration in the Elevator, it was quite good.

”How do you open this thing...”

Lin Feng held the hilt of the laser short blade, looked at it, then pressed a button. In the next moment, a laser blade only about ten centimeters long extended from the hilt.

”So short???”

Lin Feng looked speechlessly at the short blade in his hand. Whatever, it could work as a hidden weapon too.

After turning off the laser short blade, Lin Feng put it in his pocket.

The hilt was only about as long as a ballpoint pen, very compact.

After putting everything away, Lin Feng placed the greatsword strapped to his back on the ground. He picked up the Universal Hammer with his right hand and began tapping and hammering.

Watching the sword blade gradually repair itself, Lin Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief.

However, when the sword blade was completely repaired, the flames that had been burning on it before disappeared.

”Can’t the enchantment properties be repaired?”

Refusing to believe it, Lin Feng took out his nuclear-powered lighter and gave it a try.

Damn it! Could this Universal Hammer only perform physical repairs?

Or was this greatsword special, only capable of being repaired to this extent?

Regardless, this greatsword was now just an ordinary greatsword. If he could obtain a flame enchantment book in the future, he should be able to fully restore it.

...

Blue Star.

This was Qin An’s last day staying on Blue Star, and his issue of being a ’blacklisted person’ had been successfully resolved.

Because more and more people were returning to Blue Star, governments around the world gradually learned where these missing humans had gone and what they had experienced. Upon learning they occasionally returned, the statistics on missing persons were concluded.

Moreover, all those previously listed as ’blacklisted persons’ had their statuses cleared.

In addition, Seekers who had previously held positions in government departments were given a mission: to uncover the technology of advanced civilizations, as well as the formulas for attribute potions and various elixirs.

Although items couldn’t be brought back when returning to Blue Star, memories could. So, as long as they knew the formulas, replicating them shouldn’t be too difficult.

At this moment, it was already night in Xia Country.

Qin An leaned against the railing of the bridge, feeling the evening breeze, and looked toward the brightly lit, bustling city in the distance.

In another twenty hours, these scenes would disappear before his eyes.

For some reason, Qin An now felt he didn’t want to stay on Blue Star anymore. He felt the Elevator World seemed more suited to him.

Just as Qin An was planning to find an internet cafe to spend the day before returning to the Elevator, a familiar broadcast suddenly sounded.

[Ding-dong! Seeker Qin An has received a floor mission. Please go to the Two-Yuan Grocery Store located on Qingsong Road and slap the grocery store owner. You may now choose one item from your Elevator to use.

Reward: Elevator ascends one level directly.]

After the broadcast ended, a virtual screen appeared before Qin An, listing all his items.

After pondering for a moment, Qin An still chose a weapon.

A very compact pistol, just about the size of Qin An’s palm, named ’Little Cricket.’

He had bought it in the Trading Floor for three hundred gold coins.

And the seller had even given him an energy battery.

Don’t let the pistol’s small size fool you; its power was astonishing, even greater than an RPG’s.

Putting the Cricket pistol into his coat pocket, Qin An took out his phone and called a ride.

The Two-Yuan Grocery Store on Qingsong Road wasn’t very far from him.

After getting in the car, it took just over ten minutes to get there.

...

”So, this should be the place...”

Qin An looked up at the grocery store with its lit sign. He hadn’t expected it to still be open at eleven o’clock at night.

Pushing the door open and walking in, the cold air from the air conditioner blew in his face.

The grocery store owner was a woman wearing black stockings and a short skirt.

She looked to be around thirty years old.

”Hello, what would you like? This area is the two-yuan section, and over there is the ten-yuan section.”

”Oh, I’m just looking around.”

After giving the woman a brief glance, Qin An started browsing the shelves in the ten-yuan section.

Damn, this stupid Elevator broadcast, why assign such a brain-dead mission??

This young married woman is so nice and hardworking, still working late at night. Why slap her?

If the reward wasn’t so generous, Qin An truly wouldn’t do such a brain-dead mission.

After randomly picking a pair of sunglasses and a baseball cap, Qin An went to the counter, thinking he’d give her some compensation after slapping her.

”Twenty in total, I’ll scan for you.”

After saying that, Qin An paid the money, then put on the baseball cap and sunglasses.

Under the young married woman’s completely bewildered gaze, he slapped her.

Because Qin An’s strength attribute was currently quite high, he momentarily failed to control his force and ended up slapping her flying.

Hiss!

Damn, used too much force!

Just as Qin An was preparing to make a quick exit, the owner who had been slapped stood up stiffly.

Her face also began to twist and contort continuously.

”Human... how did you see through my disguise?”

As she spoke, strands of spider silk began to appear around Qin An.

The young married woman from earlier directly transformed into a giant spider.

”What... the... fuck???”

In his shock, Qin An drew the Little Cricket and pulled the trigger.

Boom!!

The powerful recoil directly sent Qin An flying backward.

The counter was instantly destroyed, and the wall behind it was blown open into a large hole. Several corpses wrapped in spider silk were revealed before Qin An’s eyes. Beneath that silk, dozens of fist-sized baby spiders were foraging.

And what these spiders were eating were human corpses.

The explosion just now set off the alarms of all the vehicles parked nearby.

Residents living in the surrounding area were also startled awake.

When they saw smoke rising from the grocery store, thinking it was a fire, they quickly helped call the police.
