Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Golden KoiLin Feng really didn’t expect the potatoes to yield so much.

Two plants harvested over twenty potatoes in total.

Today’s meal will be potatoes.

It’s a good change of pace; eating meat every day isn’t ideal.

Two hours later, Lin Feng was finally full. Can you believe he ate thirteen potatoes in one sitting?

Shredded potatoes, french fries, mashed potatoes, stewed potatoes—Lin Feng tried every possible way to cook them.

He even prepared a potato meal for Qin An.

After sitting to digest for a bit, Lin Feng went to the treadmill and started exercising.

With Lin Feng’s current physique, he could run continuously for three or four hours without feeling any fatigue.

After running for nearly two hours, Lin Feng stopped; his workout for the day was complete.

Grabbing a towel, Lin Feng quickly walked to the sink to wipe himself down.

Suddenly, there was a splashing sound from the sink.

Something else?

Lin Feng thought, then quickly picked up the shotgun placed by the sink.

After pushing open the iron plate, Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief.

It turned out to be a few Golden Koi.

Speaking of which, I wonder how these ornamental Golden Koi taste...

How about a late-night snack?

Lin Feng looked at the four plump Golden Koi in the sink, his mouth watering.

He decided to go for it; a few bites of fish wouldn’t hurt.

Lin Feng directly scooped out all four Golden Koi and cleaned them thoroughly, inside and out.

Then he lit the fireplace and roasted the fish.

The current temperature in the Elevator was twenty-six degrees Celsius, plus the cooling from the air conditioning fan, so even with the fireplace lit, it wouldn’t be particularly hot.

Soon, four portions of secret recipe roasted Golden Koi were ready.

With the seasoning, they smelled quite good.

However, the taste was just mediocre; the meat was loose and mushy.

”Damn it, such good-looking fish tastes so bad. Forget it, I’ll just put them up for sale on the Exchange.”

Lin Feng said after swallowing the fish in his mouth. Just as he was about to list them on the Exchange, a system prompt suddenly sounded.

”Ding, host reminder: Consuming the four Golden Koi in front of you will increase your luck attribute by four points.”

”What?”

Lin Feng immediately stopped what he was doing.

This lousy fish increases the luck attribute??

What’s the principle?

Lin Feng scratched his head, looking at the Golden Koi in front of him. Never mind, I’ll just eat them.

Although the texture and taste were a bit off, adding more flavoring seasoning made them the same.

Soon, Lin Feng had eaten these four Golden Koi until only the bones were left.

Opening his personal panel, his luck attribute had indeed increased by four points; it was now 25 luck.

Lin Feng, having received an unexpected gain, was much happier. He hummed a little tune and turned on the television.

He hadn’t forgotten to research whether the programs playing on this television had any connection to the floors he had experienced.

However, what was currently playing on the television was a soap opera, which made Lin Feng feel a bit nauseous.

Before long, Lin Feng’s snores echoed in the Elevator.

Little Velociraptor, seeing Lin Feng asleep, pushed the air conditioning fan to the side so it wouldn’t blow directly on Lin Feng.

...............

Several hours later, Lin Feng woke up. The television was still playing a program, and it was Animal World. Little Velociraptor had already woken up and was lying by the sink, watching the television intently.

Lin Feng also noticed the air conditioning fan that had been pushed aside.

Although his current physique meant he wouldn’t get sick even if he were blown on all night, Little Velociraptor’s thoughtfulness still touched Lin Feng.

Getting out of bed and rubbing Little Velociraptor’s head, Lin Feng took down the bone hanging on the wall.

”You chew on that for now, I’ll check the time.”

Lin Feng yawned and went to the screen.

The current time was a little past 9 AM.

Did he only sleep for such a short time last night??

Although Lin Feng couldn’t remember what time he went to bed last night, it must have been past midnight, as the Infinite Pool had refreshed, and factoring in the time he spent roasting fish, he must have gone to bed at the earliest around 3 or 4 AM.

This meant he had slept for at most five hours, yet he felt no drowsiness at all now.

It was the feeling of waking up naturally after a full night’s sleep.

It was still early, so Lin Feng, for once, made breakfast.

The Elevator survival world had not only disrupted his biological clock but also his eating habits.

At first, it was fine; he could still distinguish between breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Now, Lin Feng no longer cared about that.

He would return to eat after exploring the floor.

At most, he ate two meals a day, and at irregular times.

Opening the Exchange, Lin Feng filtered some food categories.

Looking at all sorts of canned goods, Lin Feng found it hard to muster any interest.

He was already tired of these things.

After searching for a while, Lin Feng finally bought five raw eggs.

They cost him two gold coins.

Although a bit expensive, if they weren’t so expensive, they would probably have been sold out long ago.

There were only five eggs in total, so he might as well make a steamed egg custard.

It was not only simple but also tasted very good.

Five eggs were just enough to make a large bowl.

As for hatching eggs... Lin Feng felt that these eggs probably couldn’t be hatched. Even if they were fertilized eggs, they would have died by now after such a long time.

Fifteen minutes later, two portions of self-heating hotpot with steamed egg custard were ready.

This amount certainly wouldn’t fill him up, so Lin Feng also fried a large steak.

Only then was he about sixty or seventy percent full.

Not long after eating and drinking his fill, a system prompt sounded.

”Ding, the floor the host is about to enter is the Trading Floor. This floor is a peaceful floor. The Elevator will stop for 5 hours. You can trade with other people on this floor. In the event of violent conflict on a peaceful floor, guards will intervene. Host, please be aware.”

Trading Floor? Now he could go in and spend some good money.

At this moment, the Trading Floor was the most beneficial floor for Lin Feng, who had a well-stocked wallet.

Excluding the three hundred gold coins needed for upgrading, Lin Feng now had a total of 3399 usable gold coins.

During this time, Lin Feng had made a huge profit by selling alcohol. He hoped to find some good things this time on the Trading Floor.

......

[Ding dong! Elevator ascending, please hold on tight.]

.........

Soon, the Elevator door opened, and Lin Feng walked out with Little Velociraptor.

”Hmm? This time... it feels a bit different.”

Lin Feng looked at the layout in front of him with some confusion.

It did seem a bit different.

After walking around the Trading Floor, Lin Feng couldn’t find the weapon stall owner he used to trade with before.
