Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Upgrade Tang Dao“How are these cops so fast?”

Lin Feng said with a tone full of regret, completely unaware that he had started saying “cops” so naturally.

Although there were a few shops nearby, they were all closed at this time.

Forget it, I should go back.

Lin Feng thought to himself, then returned to the Elevator. As for whether any surveillance cameras captured the moment he instantly disappeared?

Lin Feng was not worried about this at all, and he had observed that there was only one surveillance camera nearby, and that camera could only record Lin Feng’s back.

Inside the Elevator, Lin Feng opened the stacking area and took a look.

“I still need four upgrade sets to upgrade.”

Lin Feng mumbled, casually placing the armor backpack aside.

On the floor just now, not long after Lin Feng left, a black commercial vehicle stopped outside the Snack Street, and then several people wearing gloves and masks got out of the car.

These people walked all the way to the noodle stall and skillfully put the werewolf corpse into a body bag.

They are the emergency department that handles various special incidents in society, and the surveillance cameras near the Snack Street were suspended after the werewolf appeared, which was to allow them to carry out their work better.

“Another research material, quickly bag it, and remember to clean up all the bloodstains here.”

“Okay, team leader.”

They had also watched the video recorded by the onlookers just now. As for who the “armored person” in the video was, they didn’t need to worry about that; there would be a special agency to investigate it.

Anyway, no matter what kind of existence he was, as long as he didn’t harm society, it was fine.

On the other side, Lin Feng, who was watering the melon patch, was unaware of what had happened on the floor just now.

After watering the melon patch, Lin Feng took out a large piece of beef from his cowhide backpack and began to cook.

Today he wanted to change the flavor. Lin Feng had just bought ten potatoes at the Exchange.

He left five potatoes to sprout and plant later, and the remaining five potatoes, Lin Feng planned to use to stew beef.

Paired with rice, it would definitely be fragrant.

As for rice, conditions were limited, and he only had self-heating rice. Lin Feng still had a lot, all of which he had picked up before, and Lin Feng had never eaten them.

This time he directly took out five packs, which was about four bowls, plus two catties of beef, which was roughly Lin Feng’s current meal portion.

The amazing thing was that despite eating so much every day, Lin Feng didn’t gain weight; instead, his figure got better and better.

With Lin Feng’s current physique, if he wore a tank top to the gym, let alone the opposite sex, even the same sex would be attracted.

After all, it is well known that moderate fitness can attract the opposite sex, but excessive fitness will only attract more... of the same sex.

Soon, the ingredients were ready. Conditions were limited, so Lin Feng only prepared ginger slices, Sichuan peppercorns, and star anise for seasoning.

Other seasonings were basically all available.

“Hmm... what should I do first?”

Lin Feng scratched his head, looking at the pot in front of him. Forget it, he would just follow his heart and improvise. Anyway, if it failed, there was still the greedy Velociraptor to clean up the mess.

Lin Feng, having made up his mind, directly began to execute the steps of beef stew with potatoes as he imagined them.

For some reason, a cold sweat suddenly broke out on the Little Velociraptor’s back.

.........

Nearly two hours later, Chef Lin slowly lifted the lid.

Immediately, a rich aroma wafted out.

“Hahaha, I really have talent, it didn’t even fail!”

Now only the last step remained: tasting to check the seasoning.

Lin Feng scooped out a spoonful, blew on it to cool it, and then tasted it.

Smack, smack...

“Hmm, it’s bland, add some salt.”

After adding salt, Lin Feng tasted it again.

“Damn it! It’s too salty! Add some water and stew it again; it should be the same. Drink more soup, the soup is delicious!”

After self-comforting, Lin Feng poured two bottles of water into the pot.

The beef stew with potatoes, which originally had only a small amount of broth, suddenly became half a pot of soup.

He stirred it, tasted it, and damn it, it was bland again.

.......

After another cycle, Lin Feng looked at the half-full pot of soup, tasted it again, and this time it was finally just right.

However, the soup had also become much clearer....

“Forget it, the soup is also pretty good, right, Little Velociraptor~”

“Awo?”

After cooking the self-heating rice, Lin Feng poured soup over the rice, scooped out a few pieces of beef and potatoes, and began to enjoy this hard-won beef stew with potatoes.

Although the result deviated a bit from what he expected, it must be said that the taste was still very good.

Even the Little Velociraptor loved to eat it.

After the man and the Velociraptor finished all the beef and potato soup, they both found a comfortable position to lean back.

Full and satisfied, they immediately started to slack off!

Lin Feng then skillfully lit a cigarette for himself.

He didn’t have many cigarettes left, only one and a half packs.

Cigarettes, like alcohol, were also quite popular in the Exchange, but not many people sold them.

After finishing his cigarette, Lin Feng casually threw the cigarette butt into the Exchange.

He listed it for Exchange for any item and left it at that, just to see if any chain smokers would be willing to smoke a cigarette butt.

Continue my brewing business!

After filling all the wooden barrels with water, Lin Feng took out a silver wine glass and began to brew wine.

The wine Lin Feng sold had already made a name for itself in the Exchange. Although it could only be traded with gold coins, many people were still willing to buy a bottle to savor.

So Lin Feng couldn’t give up such a lucrative opportunity.

He could sell at least six barrels of wine every day.

He made a net profit of thirty gold coins per barrel; where else could he find such a good deal, and this could also be developed long-term.

During this time, he had Ye Hua make more wooden barrels for storing wine. Lin Feng could make a fortune just by selling wine.

He now had a total of 3212 gold coins.

At this rate, Lin Feng could buy a laser gun to play with next time he went to the Trading Floor.

“Oh right, there’s also the reward from the system.”

Lin Feng slapped his head, almost forgetting the reward from the system.

He then took out the Hardness Reinforcement upgrade set from his cowhide backpack.

Like the upgrade gun for cold weapons, this Hardness Reinforcement was also a gun.

The method of use was to point it at the weapon to be upgraded and pull the trigger.

Lin Feng’s target was naturally the Tang Blade.

Although this Tang Blade was already very hard, every time he chopped with it, Lin Feng would still worry that the blade would break.

After all, he knew his own strength; an upgrade would make him feel more secure.

After pulling the trigger, a beam of light shot out and directly enveloped the Tang Blade. A moment later, the light column disappeared, and the upgrade gun in his hand also disappeared, leaving behind the Tang Blade, which seemed unchanged.

But if you look at the blade against the light, you will find that in addition to black, the color of the blade also has a touch of gold.

Other than that, the weight and sharpness remained unchanged.
