Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

TreasureThe mine pit was bottomless, and there was no torchlight below, but there were many ropes lowered around the pit. However, they looked like they had been chewed on by something, broken and torn, appearing very unsafe.

”Dahei, activate the life detector.”

”Okay, Mr. Lin.”

Dahei’s voice came through. Under Dahei’s scan, there were no creatures in the mine pit.

The maximum scanning range of this life detector was one kilometer.

It seemed there were no creatures in this large pit, unless its depth was a thousand meters.

Although Lin Feng didn’t think it was possible for this pit to be over a thousand meters deep, he still kept the life detector activated.

Anyway, with the infinite energy ball supporting him, he didn’t have to worry about the battle armor running out of energy.

”Little Velociraptor, you wait for me up here. If there’s danger, run back to the Elevator, understood?”

”Awoo awoo awoo!”

”Mm, good boy.”

Rubbing the dragon’s head, Lin Feng activated the battle armor’s flight mode and slowly descended.

”Dahei, activate night mode.”

”Okay, Mr. Lin.”

Night mode was activated, and Lin Feng’s vision became clear, but the deeper areas were still pitch black.

As he descended, there seemed to be faint sounds of crying coming from below.

Just then, the life detection radar suddenly showed a large number of red dots.

”Holy crap! This deep??”

Lin Feng was shocked to see the sudden appearance of life forms.

There were no huge machines visible here. If it was purely dug by human labor, how long would it take!

A minute later, Lin Feng finally saw the creatures below.

Spiders, dense spiders, and those explosive crawling creatures.

Fortunately, Lin Feng was flying in the air and was not in any danger. He used the Technology Rhinoceros Horn Bow to clear the ground, successfully creating a place to land.

However, the energy of the Technology Rhinoceros Horn Bow was also about to run out.

Only five percent remained.

After the energy bar was depleted, the spiders were also cleared away.

He felt that the treasure mentioned by the system should be here.

”Sir, a large amount of corrosive liquid has been detected on the battle armor. It is recommended to leave this place to avoid damage to the battle armor.”

Hearing Dahei’s prompt, Lin Feng then realized that his feet were completely covered in the juice left by the exploded spiders.

After flying into mid-air, Lin Feng looked around.

Some spiders were still approaching Lin Feng, but he quickly killed them one by one.

While clearing the spiders, Lin Feng also saw some extinguished bonfires and small shacks.

Clearly, people had lived here before.

Perhaps they were the miners who worked here.

Living and working in such an environment was truly abnormal.

Soon, Lin Feng also found a large number of white bones and miner’s hats, which further confirmed his thoughts.

At this moment, a piece of parchment covering a pile of white bones caught Lin Feng’s attention.

It had crooked lines drawn on it, and at the end of the lines was a large X.

It looked exactly like a legendary treasure map, and there were a few blurry words on the back.

[I finally found the legendary treasure. For this, I spared no expense to buy a large number of slave miners. However, just as we were about to dig up the treasure, those creatures from the darkness suddenly appeared.............]

The rest was illegible, covered by brown bloodstains. He flipped the parchment over.

Based on the small squares drawn on the parchment, Lin Feng inferred that they should represent these shacks.

After finding his position, Lin Feng quickly found the direction of the treasure.

After flying over quickly, Lin Feng saw a black mining pick stuck in a stone, exactly like the one he had bought from the Floor Merchant earlier.

”So, the treasure is down here?”

After pulling out the mining pick, Lin Feng flew up a distance, then aimed the Charging Pistol at the treasure’s location.

Boom!!

After a violent explosion, a two-meter-deep pit appeared.

A touch of blue appeared before Lin Feng.

”Beep! Congratulations, Host, for completing the mission. The substance in front of the Host is ice crystal stone ore. After special purification, ice crystal stone can be obtained. It can be exchanged for ice crystal stone in some Floor Merchants and shops on the Trading Floor. One hundred kilograms can be exchanged for one piece.”

”What the heck?!”

Lin Feng was completely stunned on the spot.

Is this treasure so fierce??

And from the scale of this mine pit, it can be seen that the function of ice crystal stone is not as simple as it appears on the surface. It is very likely also a currency, and a high-grade one at that.

Otherwise, why would such a large-scale project be used to excavate ice crystal stone?

These guys were truly pitiful.

They worked for so long, and were only two meters away from digging up the ice crystal stone, but in the end, they all died here.

However, what made Lin Feng curious was that the only entrance and exit to this huge mine pit was the passage above.

So where did those strange creatures come from?

Spiders could be understood; they might have climbed down.

But those creatures that could explode were very strange; clearly, they couldn’t climb walls like spiders.

Jumping down from a height of over a thousand meters would also be certain death.

Just then, Lin Feng suddenly remembered the words on the back of the parchment.

[Those creatures from the darkness suddenly appeared..........]

Creatures from the darkness....

Just as Lin Feng was pondering.

Dahei’s prompt came through.

”Sir, a small number of life forms have appeared. Please check the radar.”

Hearing Dahei’s voice, Lin Feng’s heart skipped a beat.

Did ’creatures from the darkness’ mean that these monsters would appear in dark places?

Fortunately, there weren’t many, only about a dozen spiders.

After easily killing them, Lin Feng quickly picked up the dark mining pick and began mining.

Lin Feng remembered the function of this thing clearly.

Just a few hits could break a large piece of ice. It should be the same for digging stones.

Thus, Lin Feng worked in the mine pit for over two hours, successfully excavating all the ice crystal stone ore. Because he had to clear spiders from time to time, a lot of time was wasted.

”Only this much?”

At this time, only five slots of Lin Feng’s empty cowhide backpack were occupied.

Each slot was five hundred kilograms, so five slots were two thousand five hundred kilograms, which could be exchanged for twenty-five ice crystal stones.

Although the income didn’t seem like much, it also proved the preciousness of ice crystal stone.

After mining, there was nothing else in this floor worth Lin Feng collecting.

After flying upwards for a while, he returned to the top.

The Little Velociraptor had not left. Upon seeing Lin Feng appear, it immediately followed him.

”Let’s go, back to the Elevator.”

”Awoo~”
