Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Critical momentIn the dorm, Huang Honglin, who was anxiously waiting, looked out the window with some unease.

”Why hasn’t Luo Te finished yet? Nothing unexpected happened, right?”

The more Huang Honglin thought about it, the more he felt something was off. It was just administering a drug; if things went smoothly, the whole process wouldn’t even take three minutes.

The fact that he hadn’t returned for so long could only mean one thing.

Luo Te had messed things up.

Cold sweat instantly broke out on Huang Honglin’s back. He was now worried that Lin Feng would connect this incident to him.

After pacing anxiously in the dorm for a few circles, Huang Honglin began to ponder his excuse for later.

Both he and Luo Te were chefs, so Lin Feng would definitely suspect him.

However, Lin Feng also had no direct evidence to prove that he was the one who administered the drug, so as long as he thought of a good excuse, he would be able to perfectly get away with it.

If he ran away now, it would directly confirm his identity as the one who administered the drug.

So he couldn’t run; he had to face it head-on.

If he knew Luo Te’s excuse at the time, he probably wouldn’t have been so calm.

On the other side, after Lin Feng returned to his dorm, he recalled what Luo Te had said at the beginning.

”Huang and I got some lobsters from the kitchen. Want to try some?”

”Huang? That should be Huang Honglin, right?”

This matter definitely had something to do with him.

Lin Feng thought to himself.

He then pushed the door open and left, heading to Huang Honglin’s dorm.

Arriving outside the door, Lin Feng knocked.

”Who is it?”

”It’s me, Lin Feng.”

Creak—

The iron door opened. Looking at Huang Honglin’s slightly uneasy expression, Lin Feng felt even more certain.

”What’s wrong?”

”Heh, I came to thank you for the lobster you made. It was delicious.”

”Wh-what lobster?”

Huang Honglin said as he retreated.

Just as he was about to close the door, Lin Feng kicked it out.

The iron door instantly warped, and Huang Honglin, who was hiding behind the door, was also slammed against the wall by the powerful impact.

Next, Lin Feng didn’t waste any more words. He punched him to death, then put the body in a bag, preparing to dispose of it.

As he reached the edge of the deck, he suddenly saw a shadowy figure.

”That bartender?”

Lin Feng looked at the figure’s attire and immediately recognized his identity: it was the bartender, Paul.

At this moment, he was crouching in front of a giant flowerbed, burying something.

A few minutes later, Paul stood up, looked around, and then quickly left the area.

After he left, Lin Feng put down the body, ran forward, and started searching.

Just as Lin Feng was searching the flowerbed, a dark gun barrel silently aimed at him from a distance.

Whoosh!

The sound of something cutting through the air came, and his danger perception instantly activated. Lin Feng’s body also reacted quickly; even before Lin Feng’s mind fully registered it, he had already dodged the bullet.

”What the hell? Someone’s trying to snipe me in the middle of the night?”

Because of the dark sky, Lin Feng couldn’t find the sniper and was forced to flee.

After a series of hiding and dodging, Lin Feng successfully circled back to the dorm. The sniper, realizing he had missed again, could only retreat.

”Damn it, the body isn’t dealt with yet.”

Just as Lin Feng was about to risk it to dispose of the body, Song Ce walked over from somewhere.

”I’ve already taken care of Huang Honglin’s body for you.”

”How did you know it was there?”

”I saw it when I came back.”

Song Ce shrugged, then returned to his dorm.

Just then, outside, it suddenly became a storm of lightning and thunder.

The clear night sky instantly became covered with dark clouds.

Soon, large raindrops, the size of soybeans, poured down.

The rain hitting the deck made a pitter-patter sound. Tourists staying in the luxury rooms were fine, as the soundproofing in those rooms was very good.

But the employees living in the staff dorms suffered.

The loud noise made it difficult for people to sleep, and this included Lin Feng.

After tossing and turning for a while on the narrow single bed, Lin Feng sat up.

The noise outside was so absurd that Lin Feng couldn’t even hear himself speak.

Under this kind of noise, who the hell could sleep? Don’t talk about sleeping soundly to the sound of rain; that’s only when the soundproofing is good.

A few hours later, just as Lin Feng was leaning against the wall in a daze, five people in diving suits appeared outside.

However, because the noise was too loud, Lin Feng couldn’t hear the footsteps outside at all.

At this moment, he was still thinking about what the bartender Paul had buried in that flowerbed.

I’ll go check tomorrow.

Yawning, Lin Feng slightly narrowed his eyes.

Finally, he was feeling a bit sleepy.

Click!

”What was that sound?”

Lin Feng’s eyes, which had just closed, immediately opened.

It seemed to come from the door?

Just then, the iron door, which he had locked, was suddenly pushed open a crack, and then a cylindrical object was thrown in.

Looking closely, it was a grenade!

Seeing the grenade continuously emitting white smoke, Lin Feng was startled. He quickly picked up the grenade, pulled open the door, and threw it out.

Boom!

The moment Lin Feng threw the grenade, it exploded.

However, before he could even pick up the pistol by the bed, countless bullets hit the iron door.

This iron door was not thick to begin with and couldn’t block bullets at all.

Moreover, in such a narrow space, Lin Feng couldn’t effectively dodge bullets, and several bullets hit Lin Feng’s body.

Fortunately, the bullets’ power after penetrating the iron door was not as great, and they didn’t cause any fatal injuries to Lin Feng.

But this couldn’t go on like this, Lin Feng thought anxiously, looking at the pistol by the bed.

After the five people in diving suits outside emptied a magazine, the leader waved his hand.

The others all put on gas masks.

Then the captain pulled out a tear gas grenade from his waist, pushed the door open, and threw it in.

Hiss----

”What the hell!?”

Lin Feng looked at the exploding tear gas grenade and knew that hiding any longer would lead to certain death.

So he could only fight for his life, picking up his pistol and breaking out through the door.

The iron door, which was already not very sturdy after being shot at, flew out directly after Lin Feng kicked it.

It instantly knocked out two people.

The other three, seeing that Lin Feng dared to come out, immediately raised their guns and fired.

The weapons they used were silenced submachine guns with a very fast rate of fire; Lin Feng couldn’t make out the specific model.

Under such dense bullet trajectories, even with Lin Feng’s quick reactions, he couldn’t do anything. He had just dodged one wave of bullets when his legs were hit several times, his arms were also hit multiple times, and his pistol fell to the ground.

On the other side, the captain, who was watching the surveillance, developed an idea of recruiting Lin Feng after seeing his powerful skills.

Seeing that Lin Feng was now unable to resist, he said,

”Take him alive.”

”Yes, Captain.”

The captain pressed the intercom and replied.

”Captain?”

Lin Feng was shocked. This ship’s captain was really an Evil Cultist!

Alright, alright, so this is how you want to play?

Lin Feng quickly had a plan in mind. As long as he could capture a submachine gun, with his abilities, he still had a chance to fight his way through.
