Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

ConfrontationLin Feng, who was desperately running, still didn’t forget to look back to see if the Special Mutant had caught up. Seeing that the other party hadn’t come knocking, Lin Feng immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

“Damn it, this mutant probably evolved a Dog Nose, didn’t it? How can he always find my location?”

Lin Feng cursed as he looked around, trying to find a suitable place to hide.

Soon, he set his sights on an internet cafe by the roadside. After entering the internet cafe, Lin Feng found a corner seat and activated his Still Invisibility skill.

“Phew, I should be able to rest easy for a while now.”

Watching his body disappear, Lin Feng felt relieved.

On the other side, the Special Mutant, who wanted to lock onto Lin Feng again, was once again confused.

He even began to suspect if his skill was broken. How could he sometimes find him and sometimes not?

However, he had seen where Lin Feng had fled, so he followed the scent.

Eventually, the Special Mutant also arrived at this internet cafe.

“Holy crap, how did this bastard find this place??”

Lin Feng quickly held his breath as he watched the Special Mutant walk into the internet cafe.

The Special Mutant, who hadn’t found Lin Feng’s trace, was clearly a bit irritable, and red light flashed in his eyes.

Just then, a patrol team came down the street outside. There were six Soldier in total, but what was strange was that a drone-like object followed behind them.

“We just received a notification that a Special Mutant was suspected to have appeared nearby. Search thoroughly.”

The captain of the patrol team said as he looked at the crowd, trying to find the person who stood out.

“Beep beep beep beep beep beep!”

Suddenly, a short, piercing alarm sounded from the drone. Several Soldier quickly raised their weapons, because this drone was equipped with a virus detection device. As long as it detected a virus, it would sound an alarm.

There was only one reason for a virus to be detected here: the Special Mutant was nearby.

“Block this street! Screen everyone, I’ll request assistance.”

After the captain finished speaking, he picked up his walkie-talkie and began to contact the base.

The other Soldier controlled all the intersections on this street and stopped passing crowds and vehicles.

Before long, helicopter formations appeared in the sky, and several armored vehicles full of Soldier drove up from a distance.

Soon, this place became impenetrable.

The Special Mutant standing in the internet cafe looked outside, feeling very speechless. He really didn’t know how his whereabouts had been exposed.

And now he couldn’t run away, because several Soldier had already walked into the internet cafe with detectors.

After entering the internet cafe, the frequency of the detector’s alarm became faster and faster.

“He’s here!”

Whoosh!

The Soldier holding the detector had just finished speaking when he saw a black shadow flash past him. The next moment, his vision spun, and this Soldier was directly cut in half at the waist.

“Da da da da da da ———— ”

Dense gunfire immediately rang out in the internet cafe, and the surrounding Soldier also began to converge on this side.

There weren’t many civilians in the internet cafe, and at this time, they all hid in the restroom.

Only Lin Feng remained as steady as a rock, slumped in his chair, watching all of this.

Boom!

Suddenly, a shell hit the internet cafe, and it happened to land not far from Lin Feng.

Although it didn’t hurt Lin Feng, it really startled him, and his body trembled.

His Still Invisibility skill was also directly deactivated.

“Damn it, can’t you guys shoot more accurately?!”

Fortunately, the Special Mutant didn’t notice Lin Feng at this time. After activating Hunyue Moya to lower his presence, he quickly tiptoed to the back door.

On the other side, the Special Mutant was no longer hiding. Two whips flew out, directly impaling several Soldier.

“He’s out! Open fire, open fire!”

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang!!

Dense gunfire rang out, and the Vulcan cannons on the helicopters also began to attack the internet cafe.

In an instant, this internet cafe became a ruin.

And Lin Feng had long since fled.

The rest of the matter had nothing to do with him. If these troops could kill the Special Mutant, that would be best. If they couldn’t, delaying him for a while would also work.

Lin Feng, who had run to another street, casually hailed a taxi and went to a nearby hotel.

There should be seventeen hours left. He should continue to find a hotel to hide in.

After getting out of the car, Lin Feng saw a knife shop nearby, so he bought a long dagger. Then he ate something before checking into the hotel.

Upon arriving at the room, Lin Feng still turned on the air conditioner and lay on the bed, looking for the most comfortable position.

There was a large-screen TV in the room, which was perfect for relieving boredom.

Occasionally, he could still hear the sound of gunfire in the distance. As long as the gunfire didn’t stop, Lin Feng wasn’t worried about the Special Mutant coming to his door.

Five hours passed like this, and Lin Feng also started to feel sleepy.

The gunfire over there had long since stopped. As for the result, Lin Feng didn’t know, but he believed that with the Special Mutant’s combat power, those troops probably couldn’t do anything to him.

At this time, the sky outside had already darkened. Looking at the clock on the wall, Lin Feng could leave this broken place around seven o’clock tomorrow morning.

Now he only needed to lie down for ten more hours.

This motionless posture was truly agonizing for Lin Feng; he even had to hold it in if he needed to use the restroom.

...........

The next day, Lin Feng, who had endured a whole night, was already exhausted.

His eyes were also bloodshot.

He hadn’t dared to move all night. Later, when the air conditioner got a bit cold, he just endured it directly.

Finally, with the last countdown, the time reached exactly seven o’clock.

Lin Feng twisted his stiff neck and looked at the sunlight outside.

He should be able to leave in a few more minutes.

Suddenly, the sound of glass shattering came. Lin Feng quickly stood up, a dagger in his hand.

“Damn it, you really are a persistent ghost.”

Lin Feng was speechless as he looked at the mutant who had broken through the window.

He was about to leave; he just needed to delay for a little longer.

However, the other party didn’t seem to have any intention of chatting with Lin Feng.

His hands slowly transformed into a pair of steel claws, followed by a flash of cold light.

“Damn it, don’t be in such a hurry to fight, big brother. Sit down and chat, okay? What’s your mother’s surname?”

Lin Feng said as he dodged the claw attacks.

Although the opponent’s overall strength was superior to his own, his agility attribute didn’t seem to be as good as his.

After a few rounds between the two, there was nothing intact left in the room.

And the Special Mutant also seemed to be getting more and more irritable.

His hands changed shape again, this time directly turning into a pair of fists.
