Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Drug resistanceThe pills placed on the Exchange were quickly bought out.

Lin Feng also received another 750 gold coins.

If not for so many people selling these pills, he could have earned even more profit.

”Next, I’ll refine some Body Strengthening Pills.”

Lin Feng took out all the materials and placed them on the workbench, then clicked to select the Body Strengthening Pill production.

His hands then began to operate automatically.

As the materials decreased, Body Strengthening Pills appeared one by one on the workbench.

Half an hour later, the supply of Ganchung Yellow ran out. The Ganchung Yellow consumed in making these pills was quite a lot, and unfortunately, Ganchung Yellow was the least abundant among the herbs Lin Feng bought.

He checked the Exchange but found no Ganchung Yellow for sale.

So Lin Feng could only temporarily stop. He still had a lot of centennial ginseng and red lingzhi. He would wait until he acquired more Ganchung Yellow.

Anyway, this herb wasn’t very precious.

Counting the pills he had refined, there were 15 in total.

He would give five to Little Velociraptor and keep ten for himself.

Because Little Velociraptor intensely disliked the taste of the Body Strengthening Pill, Lin Feng came up with a new strategy.

That was to put the Body Strengthening Pill into food Little Velociraptor loved to eat.

Lin Feng fried a piece of meat, used a knife to dig a hole in the middle, and then stuffed all five Body Strengthening Pills into it.

Little Velociraptor almost always gulped down food. Sometimes he would chew a couple of times and then swallow directly.

So he probably wouldn’t taste it.

”Little Longlong, want some roasted meat?”

”Awoo?”

Seeing the roasted meat in Lin Feng’s hand, Little Velociraptor immediately darted over and then snatched the meat Lin Feng fed him.

As Lin Feng had guessed, Little Velociraptor chewed a few times and then swallowed directly. However, Little Velociraptor’s expression seemed a bit strange, so he probably tasted the Body Strengthening Pill.

But it wasn’t a big problem, as long as he swallowed it.

Next was Lin Feng. After taking so many Body Strengthening Pills, Lin Feng was already immune to their taste.

After eating them all in one go, Lin Feng eagerly looked at the three main attributes on his personal panel.

[Name: Lin Feng;

Gender: Male;

Strength: 75;

Speed: 61;

Agility: 57;]

He was stunned when he took out his small notebook to compare.

”System, doesn’t the Body Strengthening Pill add +1 to all three main attributes?”

”Beep, the more Body Strengthening Pills taken, the weaker the gain. Currently, the host takes one Body Strengthening Pill, and the three main attributes gain +0.5.”

”Damn, does that mean it’ll slowly become useless later?”

”Beep, no, Host. The gained attribute values will only decrease but will not go to zero.”

”Hmm, I see....”

Lin Feng nodded slightly. In plain terms, it was drug resistance, right?

Since taking Body Strengthening Pills caused drug resistance, then taking other attribute-boosting potions should be the same.

This meant his path to invincibility by ’pill-popping’ seemed a bit difficult.

After all, how many Body Strengthening Pills had he taken? Apparently, no more than thirty?

Lin Feng didn’t remember the exact number, but it definitely wasn’t many.

Next, Lin Feng tidied up his cowhide backpack. Although it wasn’t full, there were still many miscellaneous things inside.

For example, the soil Lin Feng took from that wooden house.

After looking around in the Elevator, Lin Feng decided to spread all this soil next to the planting area.

It should just about fill the gap there.

After an hour of work, Lin Feng finally spread and leveled all this black-gray soil.

Mainly, he had no experience doing these things; otherwise, with the help of the cowhide backpack, it wouldn’t have taken so long.

He then picked some small Hell Warts and planted them separately in the black-gray soil and ordinary soil, and used bone meal to conduct an experiment, finally confirming that only these black-gray soils could grow Hell Warts.

The Hell Warts in ordinary soil, after being catalyzed, directly died and turned into powder.

”Croak!”

At this moment, the frog in the planting area suddenly jumped onto these black-gray soils.

”Damn, I forgot about this thing.”

Lin Feng scratched his head. He had originally thought about selling this magical frog on the Trading Floor, but then some things happened, causing Lin Feng to completely forget about it.

Just then, Lin Feng noticed that the frog that jumped onto these soils seemed to be stuck, and half of its body had sunk in.

Realizing there was some danger here, the frog immediately turned around and slowly crawled towards the planting area.

Eventually, it successfully escaped the danger. Seeing this, Lin Feng also slowly inserted his finger into the soil.

Immediately, a suction force came, and these soils seemed to have many tentacles wrapped around Lin Feng’s finger.

However, with a slight effort, it was still easy to break free.

”Oh, this thing is quite magical.”

Lin Feng chuckled and planted all the Hell Warts in these magical soils.

He could just take them directly when needed, which wouldn’t take up space in his backpack.

......

”Damn, it’s already seven in the morning. Forget it, what’s the point of sleeping now?”

Lin Feng yawned as he looked at the time. It was fine when he wasn’t looking, but once he saw the time, he suddenly felt sleepy.

He splashed cold water on his head and washed his face. The sleepiness he had just felt instantly disappeared.

Lin Feng didn’t idle away the remaining time. He went to the treadmill and continued to exercise.

Four hours later, Lin Feng stopped, panting, and took off the weighted rings tied to his legs.

He had made these himself, and they were quite effective.

”Finally, I’m a bit hungry.”

Lin Feng rubbed his stomach, then took out beef noodles from his cowhide backpack and ate them in large mouthfuls.

In a short while, two bowls of beef noodles were devoured by Lin Feng.

His physique also increased by four points.

”Little Longlong, come eat noodles.”

Lin Feng waved his hand, and Little Velociraptor immediately ran over, wagging his tongue.

Hehehe, more delicious food! ~~

He fed Little Velociraptor one bowl of noodles, and counting the two bowls he ate himself, there were now 15 bowls left.

He didn’t know how many bowls of noodles he could eat before the beneficial effect would decrease.

”Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is Death Race, divided into Prey and Hunter factions. Prey have no weapons and must avoid attacks and overcome obstacles to reach the finish line to leave the floor.

Hunters are equipped with high-precision sniper rifles, sniping prey from a distance to prevent them from reaching the finish line. Once any prey successfully reaches the finish line, all hunters die, and the floor ends.

The reward for successfully leaving this floor is: the Elevator upgrade material you currently lack the most, in a random quantity, and one hundred gold coins.

The number of participants in both the Prey and Hunter factions is eight.”

”Tip: Those in the Prey faction will receive a temporary ten-point speed attribute bonus. Those in the Hunter faction will receive temporary unlimited ammunition, with no need to change magazines.

No items can be brought into this floor.”

”Beep! Task triggered.

Option One: Join the Hunter faction. Successfully leave the floor. Reward: Intermediate Sniper Rifle Mastery.

Option Two: Join the Prey faction and be the first to reach the finish line. Reward: Master-level Parkour Skill.”
