Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

A blue planet full of crisisAfter Lin Feng returned to the Elevator, its door didn’t close immediately. The pipe room he had just been in gradually began to crumble.

“Ding dong! Floor completed. Reward: 5 ice crystal stones.”

Just then, the Elevator’s announcement sounded, and its door closed. Lin Feng wasn’t sure what happened next.

However, Lin Feng hadn’t expected to receive ice crystal stones just by finding an exit.

He had originally thought these ice crystal stones would be very difficult to obtain.

After taking the ice crystal stones from the material stacking area, Lin Feng examined them.

They were white and transparent, all the same size and shape, and felt cool to the touch.

Other than that, there was nothing special about them.

“Beep, congratulations Host on completing the mission. Rewards have been distributed.”

Lin Feng checked his attributes, updated his notebook, and then took out the food and unknown drink he had found on the previous floor from his backpack.

The food looked fine, and as for the drink, he could list it on the Exchange to check.

After listing a bottle of the unknown drink on the Exchange, Lin Feng learned its function.

“almond water: Quenches thirst, restores mental trauma, increases sanity, treats some illnesses.”

“Holy crap, such a good item?”

Lin Feng quickly unlisted the almond water and then counted the drinks he had brought out.

There were twelve bottles in total.

Although he knew its effects, Lin Feng didn’t drink it immediately. After all, given the Exchange’s usual behavior, there might be unmentioned negative side effects.

He needed to find a guinea pig.

Lin Feng rubbed his chin, his gaze falling on the frog in the planting area.

Heh heh heh, isn’t there one right here?

Seeing Lin Feng approach, the frog hopped uneasily away, but it couldn’t escape Lin Feng’s grasp.

“Sorry, Little Frog, heh heh heh.”

Lin Feng forcibly pried open the frog’s mouth with his index finger and thumb and poured some almond water into it.

At first, the frog struggled a bit, but then it started drinking desperately.

By the time Lin Feng put it back on the ground, its belly had swelled up.

“Is it that good?”

Shaking the half-empty bottle of almond water, Lin Feng took a small sip. So far, the frog seemed fine.

It had a very faint scent of vanilla and rose water, but upon tasting, it transformed into a subtle almond paste flavor.

It was undeniably unique.

Moreover, after consuming it, Lin Feng suddenly felt more energetic and focused.

After drinking it all, Lin Feng checked his personal panel, but there was no increase in sanity or intelligence.

However, Lin Feng definitely felt the boost, though he didn’t know how long it would last.

Currently, it seemed this item was very suitable for places where sanity easily drops.

It’s just that his sanity was already so high, these buffs didn’t make much difference. Perhaps they could be useful when facing ghosts in the future, so he’d save them for now.

At this moment, Qin An suddenly sent a message, and Lin Feng, who was browsing the chat room, happened to see it.

Qin An: “Lin Feng! Are you there? Did you leave any weapons behind when you last returned to Blue Star?”

Lin Feng: “I prepared them long ago. I buried a gun and some cash behind the house. You should be able to find it with the marker.”

Qin An: “Holy crap! There’s even a gun! You really understand me!”

Lin Feng: “Nonsense, how could a father not understand his son? By the way, what happened on Blue Star? Why do you need weapons?”

Qin An: “I was just about to tell you. There’s a city in Lighthouse Country where a virus broke out, but it’s currently well-controlled and hasn’t spread. Here in Xia Country, there have been some strange creatures appearing recently. When I was out shopping just now, I actually saw a Ratman, you know, a thing with a rat head and human body. It bit several people to death on the spot.”

Qin An: “It was later killed by the SWAT team that arrived. That’s why I ran home to ask if you left any weapons, so I can defend myself.”

Lin Feng: “Uh, is Blue Star that dangerous now? I suggest you use that money to buy some food and just stay home.”

Qin An: “Good point. Gotta go, I’m off to find what you left behind.”

.........

After ending the chat, Lin Feng habitually rubbed his chin.

Returning to Blue Star now was clearly no longer a vacation.

It could even be life-threatening.

But luckily, he couldn’t go back for a while. If he remembered correctly, his level when he last returned to Blue Star was 14.

Normally, he would need to be in his twenties to return to Blue Star.

For now, he should focus on what to eat.

He was tired of beef noodles, and one bowl only increased his physique by 0.5, which was too low value for money.

Flipping through his cowhide backpack, Lin Feng found the bag of random seeds.

He might as well plant some vegetables.

After ripening a few watermelons to clear space, Lin Feng buried the seeds in the soil and sprinkled bone meal.

Instantly, a patch of vegetables appeared before Lin Feng: chili peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, and Chinese cabbage.

“Heh heh, now dinner is settled.”

Lin Feng smiled at the four types of vegetables in front of him.

He went to the Exchange, bought some eggs and self-heating rice, and then listed the remaining beef noodles for sale.

The five bowls of beef noodles he had previously listed were already sold out.

Lin Feng had already decided on dinner: stir-fried pork with chili, braised eggplant, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and mixed cabbage.

Although Lin Feng’s cooking skills were limited, at least the food he made was edible.

After his efforts, dinner was resolved.

After listing the brewed wine, Lin Feng went to rest.

Currently, selling wine was his most stable source of gold income, so unless he was delayed by something, Lin Feng wouldn’t forget about it.

Lying on the bed, Lin Feng quickly fell asleep.

Seeing Lin Feng asleep, Little Velociraptor went to the infinite pool, lifted the iron plate, and looked inside.

“Ooh?”

Little Velociraptor looked at the Golden Koi in the pool and let out a cry, then with a splash, plunged its head directly into the water, biting and tearing at the Golden Koi.

Soon, blood filled the pool.

The Golden Koi was eaten clean by it, bite by bite.

After confirming that there was nothing dangerous in the pool, Little Velociraptor returned to its foam board to rest.
