Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 391: Chapter 393 I Really Like You Whoever

Chapter 393 Someone, I Really Like You

”Bang!”

Under the impetus of great force, the basketball, the size of a human head, smashed violently towards the direction of the Rockets player who had just insulted Lin Zifeng.

A dull thud.

Under the rapidly spinning basketball.

That Rockets player was instantly hit in the face by the flying ball.

If time could slow down a thousandfold,

you could even see the momentum of the basketball as it struck his face.

You could even see how the basketball, driven by the immense force, gradually deformed his originally delicate and handsome features, deforming, deforming, and deforming again!

Until his entire face was smashed and blood flowed freely!

Whoosh—

Everyone was shocked!

More than four hundred spectators instantly stood up.

Including Huahua and the others, all were dumbfounded.

”Your turn! Catch the ball!”

The rebounding basketball was once again firmly grasped by Lin Zifeng.

He flashed a sunny smile at the gorilla.

In an instant, the gorilla was so frightened that he almost wet himself.

Just as he was about to cry out ”I don’t want it anymore,”

the basketball had already charged toward him.

Without a doubt, the nearly two-meter-tall Tai Mountain physique of the gorilla was once again blasted away by the basketball.

”Pfft—!”

The basketball made a splendid collision with his nose.

In an instant, a mist of blood sprayed from the gorilla’s nose.

The entire massive body bowed like a shrimp and fell backwards!

The rebounding basketball was once again grasped firmly in Lin Zifeng’s hand.

However, this time his target was the opponent’s backboard!

”Young lads, get ready to defend!” Lin Zifeng said with a faint smile, imitating their previously cool and earth-shatteringly awesome postures.

He gripped the basketball and charged towards the opponent’s backboard.

”Stop him!”

The Rockets captain screamed hysterically.

Pity that egg crashing against a rock often results in a broken ’egg’!

Lin Zifeng shot a three-pointer, and in an instant, several Rockets players reached out to block.

Wherever the basketball passed, it nearly broke the fingers of these players, and this was still Lin Zifeng showing mercy. Otherwise, with his strength,

To block the basketball, it’s likely their fingers would have been shattered at the very least.

Sure enough! Relying on the sea of people strategy, the basketball was blocked. But screams ensued incessantly.

The pain made those Rockets players almost wish to chop off their injured hands.

Trying to stop the basketball had already ground the skin on their hands raw, bringing tears to their eyes!

”Murderous basketball!”

In the spectator seats, the same two middle-aged instructors were present, but their complexions had turned somewhat unnatural all of a sudden.

This scene was similar to a certain film in the movies: ”Shaolin Soccer.”

One used a soccer ball to kill,

the other used a basketball to injure.

They couldn’t help but feel both excited and nervous.

”Kung Fu basketball!” countered another instructor.

The two exchanged glances.

They had seen cruel showdowns on the basketball court before,

but a scene like today’s was indeed surprising to them.

It wasn’t until Lin Zifeng slammed the basketball into the opponent’s backboard,

Whoosh—

that the entire training field was once again enveloped in a huge commotion.

Lin Zifeng, who was not favored by everyone, once he shot, reminded them of Naruto’s dramatic scenes, invoking chants from those basketball fanatics once again.

Some even started to stir, wanting to rush down to get Lin Zifeng’s autograph.

”Who’s that? Who who who, you’re so handsome. I really like you!”

”Wow! So cool, can we be friends?”

...

”...”

Lin Zifeng was at a loss for words.

If it weren’t for relying on martial strength to play basketball, Lin Zifeng’s basketball skill would never have allowed him to defeat these guys.

When the two middle-aged instructors rushed down.

They pointed at Lin Zifeng and yelled loudly, ”What are you doing? What is this, playing basketball or fighting?”

”You! Are you trying to kill someone?”

Although the instructor didn’t know the name of this freshman, he still pointed at Lin Zifeng and questioned.

”Report to the instructor, I don’t want to!” Lin Zifeng responded loudly.

”You don’t want to? And yet you beat someone up like this? What would you have done if you had wanted to, batter them to death?” an instructor bellowed, just short of bursting into a thunderous rage.

”Report to the instructor, they were the ones who challenged us first, and even though I repeatedly refused, they insisted that I pass them the ball. I merely did as they wished,” Lin Zifeng explained.

”So you think you’re in the right now?” The middle-aged instructor almost laughed at Lin Zifeng’s nonsensical explanation, ”Didn’t I just say, competition comes second, friendship first. Didn’t you hear? Look, now you’ve beaten someone up like this. And you still think you’re in the right?”

”Instructor, if you’re not clear about the facts, please don’t arbitrarily pin a baseless charge on me. If you don’t believe me, you can ask them if they didn’t ask me to pass the ball. It’s just that I’m a bit too strong. Their noses are too fragile, and that’s why the scene just now happened.”

Lin Zifeng explained to the two instructors with hardly a flush on his face or a skip in his heartbeat.

”Yeah! I heard it too, they were the ones who asked for the ball,” someone chimed in.

The Real Madrid team was not entirely composed of cowards; although the ”Chimpanzee” was not friendly to Lin Zifeng, it didn’t mean the attitude of other team members towards Lin Zifeng was unfriendly.

After all, the team was only temporarily assembled; there was no natural enmity between them, nor was there an overly friendly relationship.

”Yeah, instructor, you can’t just make things up! I heard it too, if you don’t believe it, you can go and ask them yourself,” another person spoke out for Lin Zifeng’s justice.

Now that Lin Zifeng’s reputation was so badass, anyone with a brain wanted to lean towards him.

As a result, the ”Chimpanzee” and the other unlucky guy were brought over and they nodded in agreement, just like Lin Zifeng had said. No one contradicted the facts.

If they hadn’t loudly called Lin Zifeng a dummy and asked for the ball, this situation wouldn’t have happened.

The blame could only fall on them for being too showy.

Seeing the two instructors rendered speechless by them, Lin Zifeng displayed a very remorseful look, shook his head helplessly, and said with an apparent apology, ”Seeing them like this, I also feel very upset. If I had known, I wouldn’t have played basketball. Sigh...” As he spoke, he started shaking his head with a sense of helpless regret.

But to ”Chimpanzee” and the others, how come the more they looked, the more Lin Zifeng resembled a demon brimming with mirth?

Not until Huahua and the others came down.

Only then did Lin Zifeng turn to the little beauty on the opposing team and say with a kind smile, ”It’s only the second game and we’ve both scored a point. Do you want to play again?”

As soon as Lin Zifeng spoke, the members of the Rocket team looked at this demon with horror.

Nobody dared to be the first to come forward; they all turned their gaze to the little beauty.

The message couldn’t have been clearer.

How could they continue the game? Isn’t that just asking for a beating? Playing against such a psycho is simply self-torture!

The little beauty seemed to feel that the guy in front of her was somewhat terrifying too and, not wanting to embarrass herself further,

The little beauty waved her hand to signal withdrawing from the campus competition and led the members of the Rocket team away in a hurried retreat.

He had come with a swagger, but now...

With the Rockets team out, the hastily assembled Real Madrid team suddenly qualified for the competition to be among the top five in the school, which was indeed quite frustrating.

Even though their overall skill level was several notches below that of the Rockets’ members, they were suddenly confronted with a freak of nature who, in an instant, turned the tide of battle.

What’s more, the opponent was literally scared off, which was really quite speechless.

As team members began to gather, the fierce male gorilla seemed a bit down, probably because of his recent disrespect towards Lin Zifeng. His nose was still bleeding.

Just as he was about to slink away, a warm, large hand rested on his broad shoulder.

Turning around, the gorilla was surprised to find it was Lin Zifeng!

”What, what do you want?”

Seemingly stunned by Lin Zifeng’s recent kick, the gorilla now looked somewhat fearful upon seeing Lin Zifeng in person.

”Do you just want to leave like this?” Lin Zifeng shrugged and smiled.

”That, what do you want?” the gorilla asked warily, looking at him.

”I apologize for the incident just now.” Having said that, Lin Zifeng bowed deeply to the gorilla.

He expressed immense remorse.

The gorilla, feeling guilty, quickly helped Lin Zifeng up, his face red and his neck stiffly saying, ”The one who should be saying sorry is me. It’s all my fault for not controlling my mouth; if anyone’s to blame, it’s me. Thank you for your forgiveness.” The gorilla’s words were heartfelt.

”I’m at fault too. It’s not entirely your fault.” Lin Zifeng never considered himself to be a very forgiving person; indeed, he had not refrained from exacting revenge in the past.

However, he felt there was no need to make a big fuss over the minor incident with the gorilla.

Lose the battle and move on, as continuing the fight would do no good for either side.

”Thank you for forgiving me.” The gorilla was instantaneously moved to tears, thoroughly humbled by the other’s generosity.

”Damn! Brother, don’t be like this, alright? Look at you, big and burly; don’t act like a little girl, it’s scary as hell!”

Lin Zifeng suddenly clapped him on the shoulder and joked in a particularly whimsical tone. There was no pretense of superiority, but rather a vibe of being very easy to get along with.

”Uh...” The fierce man was taken aback. Suddenly, he discovered that this young man with a delicate appearance actually had such a sunny disposition on the other side.

...

This match not only greatly increased Lin Zifeng’s fame throughout the school but also added plenty of sensational rumors to his upcoming campus rivalry competition.

If it weren’t for Lin Zifeng’s constant presence in the Archaeology Department, he would worry that he might be besieged by fans whenever he ventured out of his department.

Fortunately, he hadn’t been at the school for long and not too many people recognized him.

Even now, probably only a handful of people knew his name, right?

”Damn! Wei, did you see that? That’s the kid over there! Should we call our boys and get revenge?”

Soon after the match, the guy with glasses, along with Qiu Dongwei, quickly found their way to the training field in the crowd.

They immediately spotted Lin Zifeng.
