Chapter 392: Idiot, Catch the Ball!

The game had barely begun when we witnessed the overpowering strength of our opponents, the Rockets!

”go! go! go!” the Gorilla took the lead, charging at the forefront with the other four players in tow.

His massive and intimidating body indeed added quite a menacing presence.

Once he barged into the crowd, he rampaged through, unstoppable.

But the Real Madrid Team’s overall skill level was just too poor. In mere moments after the game started, even something as simple as passing the ball was ruthlessly seized by the opponents!

”Over here, over here!” The cooperation of the Rockets far surpassed what our makeshift team of rookies could compare to.

After all, the Rockets had clinched one of the top ten spots in the whole school last year!

One could only imagine how terrifying their overall level had become after a year of training!

”Quick, guard the goal, you idiot! Guard it!”

It wasn’t until the opponents snatched the ball and rushed toward the Real Madrid side for a slam dunk that the Gorilla got desperate.

He yelled at Lin Zifeng, who had been silently standing by the backboard.

Even Huahua in the audience was getting anxious.

Huahua might have still been okay, but Liu Tangtang had long abandoned any ladylike image.

Clenching her little fists, she screamed desperately at the basketball court, prompting several boys nearby to cover their ears and flee.

Fortunately, this was an indoor basketball court, and the atmosphere was much better indoors.

But the game had just started, and it was obvious that the Real Madrid Team was at a disadvantage.

The situation couldn’t help but make the leading pretty girl on the opposing team a bit smug.

Annoyed, Huahua’s chest, those soft Himalayas, trembled continuously.

”Uncle! Come on, uncle! I support you, hurry up, uncle, hurry and block their ball!” Liu Tangtang screamed excitedly, wishing she could jump into the game herself.

”Idiot, block them! Idiot, what are you still standing there for? Block their ball, damn it! You, idiot!”

The Gorilla kept hurling insults at Lin Zifeng, calling him an idiot.

He felt like he wanted to rush over and give Lin Zifeng a good beating.

Lin Zifeng, who had been silent all along, couldn’t help but get annoyed.

When the opponents made a flashy dunk and the ball hit the backboard behind Lin Zifeng.

In an instant, all six members of the opposing team erupted in excitement.

Including the four hundred people in the crowd, half of the men and women went crazy cheering for the Rockets.

The Gorilla and his teammates were stunned.

It turned out that all his shouting had been to no avail; the idiot hadn’t understood a word.

It was over now, what was the point of even playing!

Huahua had invited an idiot, how were they supposed to play like this?

We were already at a disadvantage compared to the Rockets, and now they had found some rookie-level idiot. It seemed this game was doomed to be a disastrous loss.

Everyone shook their heads and sighed.

And Lin Zifeng, the instigator of the trouble, still stood in his original spot, unmoving.

It was as though the incident just now had nothing whatsoever to do with him.

Infuriated, the Gorilla’s explosive temper flared up, and if it wasn’t for someone holding him back, he doubted whether his fiery temper would lead him to beat the crap out of this bastard.

Lin Zifeng finally realized that this so-called Real Madrid team was nothing more than a bunch of trash hastily assembled by Huahua.

When faced with difficulties, they shifted the entire blame onto their teammates, and they lacked any class, resorting to profanity at the drop of a hat.

”Damn it! Don’t hold me back! I have to teach this bastard a lesson!”

Not far away, the Gorilla seemed to have not yet vented his anger and was determined to go up and teach Lin Zifeng a lesson.

A perfectly good ball was just muddled through by the other side, how could that not make the gorilla mad.

”Forget it, forget it, he didn’t do it on purpose. Gorilla, stop being angry,” someone tried to mediate.

”Damn it! How can I not be angry? Didn’t you all just see, with such a good ball, and he didn’t even try to stop it? If it were any of you, even if you accept defeat, you would still fight for it, right? But look at him, just standing there without moving an inch, tell me, isn’t he stupid?”

At that moment, the tough guy was holding back a breath of frustration, with nowhere to vent, plus Lin Zifeng had also offended him before.

Now, with old and new grudges rushing to his mind, he was just looking for a place to let it all out.

”Have you all had enough? Right now the other team has already scored a point, and instead of changing tactics, you’re here rejecting one of your own teammates, are you even still teammates?”

Hua Buqi, who had been watching all along, finally couldn’t help but step in.

She gave the gorilla a piece of her mind, right to his face.

The lost point in the game was indeed largely associated with Lin Zifeng. But after hearing the gorilla cursing Lin Zifeng so viciously, Huahua simply couldn’t stand by without teaching him a lesson.

Especially when she heard the gorilla calling Lin Zifeng a ”fool,” Huahua felt particularly uncomfortable after hearing that.

Even though she had never been too fond of Zifeng.

But why should he be scolded by others?

After all, in Huahua’s heart, Zifeng was one of her own, no matter what. This outsider, to put it bluntly, was just a piece of trash brought in for the game. Compared to what Zifeng meant to her, one could imagine.

”But he...”

”There’s no buts. Continue the game,” Huahua said with a dark face, supporting Lin Zifeng for the first time.

This kind of invisible slap in the face made the gorilla very embarrassed, but he couldn’t just lose his temper.

So, this time, the gorilla directed all of his even greater anger toward Lin Zifeng.

Lin Zifeng’s mistake had only intensified the opponent’s mountainous arrogance, as each of the Rocket’s players cockily gestured contemptuously with their middle fingers at members of the Real Madrid Team.

In particular, they showed a playful intent toward Lin Zifeng, the rookie.

Several Rocket players nodded to each other as if conspiring about something, or perhaps brewing some scheme.

The two robust players from the Rockets shared a smile and nodded at each other.

And then they slammed the basketball in the direction of Lin Zifeng’s head.

”Hey! Newbie, catch the ball!”

In any domain, there are openly fought and covert battles, and playing basketball is no exception.

The two Rocket players were trying to smash the basketball hard at Lin Zifeng’s head, to get this rookie newbie to roll off the court immediately.

But unexpectedly.

After the basketball, bigger than a head, shot towards Lin Zifeng, a large hand suddenly grabbed and held onto the basketball firmly.

The quick reflexes somewhat surprised the two Rockets players who were up to no good.

”Hey! Idiot, pass me the ball! Pass it to me quick!” Then, the gorilla, who had been secretly attempting to snatch the ball, finally charged to the front, hindered by the opponent constantly in his way.

The gorilla roared frantically.

”Hey! Idiot newbie, over here! Pass the ball to me.”

At that moment, a small player from the Rockets also dashed to the front, teasing Lin Zifeng with a mocking tone, figuring out that the newbie wasn’t well-liked by the Real Madrid team, so he, too, started berating without any reservations.

Idiot? Ha, we’ll see who the idiot is soon enough.

Lin Zifeng just showed his bright white teeth, his cool lips curving into a pleasing arc.

”Catch this!”

Lin Zifeng’s five fingers gripped the basketball tightly, which was then propelled at high speed in an instant as he moved it forcefully between his hands.

”Bang!”

Under the impetus of great force, the basketball, the size of a human head, flew violently towards the Rocket who had just been insulting Lin Zifeng like a large, fast-spinning grinding wheel.
