After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2091: Chapter 2095: What If It Were Another Man

Rushing to the elevator, Leng Zirui glanced at the elevator still far below. He raised his eyebrows and turned to the safety stairs, quickly running down.

The distance of one floor was covered rapidly. Arriving at Xu Xia’s room door, he took out the key card from his pocket and swiped it to open the door, then pushed it open and shut it behind him, immediately heading into the bedroom.

Inside the red canopy, on the large round bed covered with crimson couple sheets, Xu Xia lay with her face to the side at the center, the hem of her long dress lightly fluttering, revealing half of her long leg, while the other leg was faintly visible through the sheer skirt.

That posture was incredibly seductive.

At the first sight of her, Leng Zirui’s breath tightened.

Striding over, he quickly extended his finger to her nose tip; her breathing was calm but steady.

Leng Zirui placed his fingers on her pulse, then lifted her eyelids to check her eyes, confirming there was no major abnormality, likely the result of anesthesia or sedative drugs, which allowed him to breathe a sigh of relief.

Sitting on the bedside, looking at the still unconscious Xu Xia, his eyes filled with both heartache and helplessness.

”So foolish, lucky it’s me; what if it were another man?”

Extending his palm, he tenderly smoothed out a few stray hairs from her face, noticing the hairpin still tucked in her hair. He gently lifted her head with one hand, carefully removing it and taking out each hair clip securing her hair.

With the removal of the hairpins, Xu Xia’s somewhat loose hair instantly cascaded down, spreading over the large bed like a black tide.

It’s often said, you appreciate beauty under a lamp.

Indeed true, for the lighting in this bedroom was warm-toned, under the dim light, Xu Xia’s face appeared even more finely carved and alluring, especially her softly parted lips, which practically possessed a criminal allure.

Leng Zirui’s fingers naturally moved to her lips.

Caressing her soft lips, his heart was already racing, mouth dry.

Finally, unable to resist, he lowered his face to kiss her.

These past days, though consistently in a tense environment, she had never truly left his mind.

The frenzied intimacy of their last night together was an absolutely unforgettable night in Leng Zirui’s life.

When he saw her in the hotel that day, he almost couldn’t resist; at this moment, how could he possibly hold back?

Her lips carried a faint orange scent from the lipstick, which he usually wasn’t fond of in women, especially lipstick, seeming to him like smearing chemical paint on the lips.

But at this moment, he found eating her lipstick a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Her lips and tongue also held a slight taste of wine, soft like the feeling he remembered.

His heart beat like a drum, as if ready to leap out of his chest.

Realizing his emotions were heading towards a loss of control, Leng Zirui abruptly lifted his face, releasing her lips.

Xu Xia remained unconscious, her lipstick kissed away into a ragged state, glistening with his saliva, showing its original tender pink color, looking even more beautiful.

”Ah!” Leng Zirui pulled her into his arms, letting out a long sigh, ”My foolish wife, what am I supposed to do?!”

He missed her desperately, but under these circumstances, if he truly made a move on her, this silly girl would definitely go crazy upon waking up.
