After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2055: Chapter 2059: Don’t Watch This Kind of News

If Luo Ke saw her with this chef, he would definitely get mad again.

Looking at Leng Zimo in front of her, Luo Xiaoqian turned around and walked briskly towards the villa.

”Let’s go back.”

In fact, neither of them realized how fast time had passed while they were chatting.

Both of them felt it had only been a short while, but in reality, it was already close to noon.

Back in the villa, Luo Xiaoqian casually sat on the living room sofa and watched TV, while Leng Zimo went into the kitchen to start preparing lunch for her.

A moment later, a helicopter landed, and when Luo Ke walked into the room, he saw only Luo Xiaoqian sitting in front of the TV watching a show.

”Sissi!” Luo Ke immediately smiled and walked over to her, presenting a beautifully wrapped gift box, ”For you!”

Luo Xiaoqian turned her face in confusion, looking at the gift box in his hand, ”What is it?”

”You’ll know when you open it.” Luo Ke laughed.

Luo Xiaoqian took the box, lifted her hand to untie the ribbon on top, flipped the lid open, and immediately noticed a stunning diamond ring inside. The silver ring bore a sea-blue diamond as crystal-clear as the ocean, flashing brilliant colors in the sunlight.

The news on TV switched to the next story.

”Regarding the rumors of the previous CEO’s death, Emperor View’s stock has plummeted significantly. However, early this morning, Emperor View Group released that its CEO Leng...”

Upon hearing the words ”Emperor View Group,” Luo Xiaoqian instinctively turned her face to look at the TV screen.

Pa!

Just as she turned her face, Luo Ke had already taken the TV remote and turned off the TV.

Before she could clearly see the photo on the TV, the screen had gone dark.

Throwing aside the remote, Luo Ke took the ring out of the box, holding her palm with the other hand.

”Shall I help you put it on?”

”Why did you turn off the TV?” Luo Xiaoqian asked, puzzled.

”Since you’re pregnant, you shouldn’t watch such news.”

Luo Ke slid the ring onto her left middle finger. The ring was a bit big and felt loose on her finger, not fitting very well.

”It doesn’t seem to suit me.” Luo Xiaoqian took the ring off her finger.

”No worries, I’ll have it adjusted,” Luo Ke said with a smile.

”There’s no need. Such a big diamond is uncomfortable to wear, and if something so valuable were lost, it would be a shame.”

”Compared to her, these things are worthless.” Luo Ke casually placed the ring on the table, ”What did you do this morning?”

”Just took a walk by the beach,” Luo Xiaoqian said lightly.

”By yourself?”

”Sir!” Leng Zimo stepped over, ”What would madam like for lunch?”

Luo Ke naturally switched the topic, ”Sissi, what would you like to eat?”

”How do you say ’anything’ in Italian?” Luo Xiaoqian asked him back.

Luo Ke immediately taught her, and Luo Xiaoqian turned to look at Leng Zimo standing beside her, repeating it in his accent.

She believed that whatever he cooked, it would surely suit her taste.

”Alright.”

Leng Zimo smiled and turned to head into the kitchen.

”My feet are all sandy, I’ll go take a shower.”

Luo Xiaoqian, afraid Luo Ke would ask more questions, immediately found an excuse and went upstairs.

Watching her go upstairs, Luo Ke immediately turned around to instruct his subordinate, ”Turn off the satellite dish. I don’t want her seeing any similar news again.”
