After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2083: Chapter 2087: Body Art

”Yes.”

Leng Zirui replied lazily, his gaze resting on Xu Xia, without attempting to get any closer.

He knew that if he really ticked her off and she did something out of line, it would affect her image.

”Then Mr. ROY must be a successful businessman,” Lan Zi said with a smile.

Regarding this ROY, who looked similar to Leng Zirui, Lan Zi naturally didn’t have a great impression either. However, as Xu Xia’s manager, she had to fend off these harassments to protect her.

”Of course, and I’m not just a businessman. I’m also an artist,” Leng Zirui said proudly.

”Oh? What kind of art does Mr. ROY like?”

”Body art,” Leng Zirui replied, looking at Xu Xia.

”Pervert!” Xu Xia muttered in Chinese.

”What did she say?” Leng Zirui asked.

”Oh, Xu Xia meant that she’s very surprised,” Lan Zi said with an awkward smile, then discreetly nudged Xu Xia’s arm, signaling her to mind her emotions.

During their conversation, the elevator arrived at the top floor with a soft ding, and the elevator doors slowly opened.

Xu Xia grabbed Lan Zi and strode out with the guests, inquiring about the restroom location to the reception staff, then immediately pulled Lan Zi along, leaving Leng Zirui and the others behind.

Entering the restroom, Xu Xia immediately instructed, ”Call Xiao Jie and have him bring someone up to protect me. This ROY is driving me crazy!”

She’s not the type to make a big show, and since this was work-related, she just had Xiao Jie and the others wait in the parking lot and didn’t have them enter the venue. After all, this was a public event, and there shouldn’t be any danger.

Only, this ”ROY” was really too persistent, and she was too tired to deal with him, so she decided to have Xiao Jie and the others come up.

”Okay, I’ll call right away.” Lan Zi also realized this ROY was no ordinary troublemaker and was worried about his intentions toward Xu Xia.

”Remember to tell them not to mistake ROY for someone else,” Xu Xia reminded.

Lan Zi had already dialed the number and just nodded at Xu Xia’s reminder, ”Xiao Jie? It’s Lan Zi. We have a situation here, bring someone up. We’re at the Rooftop Casino, and there’s someone who looks a lot like General Leng, don’t mistake him, he’s a jerk.”

Thinking about ROY taking advantage of her, Xu Xia was just grinding her teeth in anger.

”That bastard, I really want to punch him!”

”Xu Xia, don’t be impulsive...”

”I know,” Xu Xia waved her hand, ”Don’t worry, I’m just saying.”

They’re not in Beijing, and things were already chaotic enough. Xu Xia understood well not to add to the chaos, so she held back.

Lan Zi helped her touch up her makeup and fixed her hair before walking out of the restroom together.

Outside the restroom, Shangguan Feng saw them coming out and immediately approached.

”Miss Xu.”

”Mr. Shangguan?” Xu Xia was slightly surprised, indicating Shangguan Feng was probably waiting for her.

”Please forgive my intrusion. If there’s anything Miss Xu needs help with, please don’t hesitate to ask,” Shangguan Feng offered warmly, his gentle eyes full of sincerity.

”Thank you, but I don’t need any help,” Xu Xia politely declined.

She’s never been one to court attention, and now that she was spoken for, she certainly wouldn’t easily accept the goodwill of other men.
