After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2088: Chapter 2092: A Pleasant Night

”Miss Xu is too modest. You are now a world-famous superstar, and we can proudly tell other guests in the future that this suite was once occupied by Miss Xu Xia.” Ray Qingqing unabashedly praised Xu Xia, casting her eyes around the room and landing them sharply on the floor manager. ”Why haven’t you taken the guests to their rooms yet?”

”Yes, I’ll take everyone over right away.” The floor manager, feeling the chill on his back, responded quickly and respectfully gestured for Xiao Jie, Lan Zi, and others to head out.

”Everyone, rest well and sweet dreams.” Ray Qingqing stood up with a smile and said, ”I’ll chat a bit more with Miss Xu.”

With the offer made, Lan Zi couldn’t say anything further. She just stood up, ”Xu Xia, I’ll come see you later.”

”Miss Xu, if there’s anything, feel free to call me.” Xiao Jie spoke politely, ”We’ll come immediately.”

”Alright.” Xu Xia agreed with a smile, ”You all go ahead.”

After everyone left with the floor manager, Xu Xia’s gaze fell on Ray Qingqing. ”Miss Ray, what would you like to discuss with me?”

”It’s like this, I’ve always admired you, Miss Xu. After seeing you in person just now, I feel you perfectly fit the image of our hotel, so I’d like to invite you to be our hotel’s image ambassador.” Ray Qingqing smiled and looked at her. ”I’m wondering if you would accept it; remuneration can be negotiated.”

”Ray Qingqing, you’re flattering me. My popularity isn’t that high here in Europe; I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to fulfill such a role?” Xu Xia politely declined.

”Not at all. Our hotel mainly welcomes Asian guests. In Asia, you are highly recognized.” Ray Qingqing stood up, walked to the minibar, took out a bottle of red wine, opened it, poured two glasses, and brought them over, handing one to Xu Xia. ”I hope Miss Xu considers it seriously.”

”Actually...” Xu Xia smiled, ”My manager Lan Zi handles all work-related matters. It’s best for your subordinates to discuss this with her.”

She only takes care of part of the work; the company and Lan Zi oversee the specific content. At Xu Xia’s level, she doesn’t accept just any job.

”Of course, I will have someone discuss this with your manager. I just feel I should express it personally to show my sincerity.” Ray Qingqing smiled, gently clinking her drink with Xu Xia’s. ”I hope we will have the opportunity to cooperate.”

”Thank you.”

Xu Xia replied politely, then raised the drink to her lips, taking only a symbolic sip.

She had promised Leng Zirui to drink as little as possible. Xiao Jie’s reminder was noted, knowing there was work to do tomorrow. Since she knew drinking might cause trouble, Xu Xia naturally didn’t dare drink much.

Ray Qingqing glanced at her glass, ”Miss Xu doesn’t like drinking?”

”Sorry, I’m not very good with alcohol.” Xu Xia apologized with a smile and placed the glass on the table.

”No problem.” A hint of disappointment flashed in Ray Qingqing’s eyes, but her lips still maintained a smile. ”Then I won’t disturb Miss Xu’s rest. Please enjoy your night. We’ll discuss work matters tomorrow. I hope you have a pleasant evening.”

With that, she turned and walked toward the door.
