After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1493: Chapter 1497: Leng Zirui Is About to Lose His Mind

”How am I?!” Leng Zirui pressed.

Talking about some male friend of a girlfriend, could it be that she was testing him?!

This man, who never lost his composure even in the face of the strongest enemies, at this moment, inexplicably felt somewhat agitated.

”You... you...” Xu Xia suddenly sat up straight, ”Actually, I’m fine. It’s getting late, I should sleep now!”

In her panic, she stepped directly on the drink can she had casually placed on the ground earlier. Her foot slipped, and she fell towards the floor.

Leng Zirui sprang up, hooked his arm around her waist, and with a swift motion, he lifted her body, causing Xu Xia to crash directly into his embrace.

Her waist was slim, his arm could just encircle it, feeling the softness unique to women, Leng Zirui didn’t release her. Instead, he tightened his grip.

Her body pressed closely against his chest, her face right next to his neck, feeling his breath suddenly surrounding her, Xu Xia’s heart pounded frantically.

”Thank you!”

Her face was slightly hot, with a slender and soft touch. As she spoke, her lips faintly brushed against his skin.

Leng Zirui’s lips and tongue instinctively went dry, ”I warned you...”

”What?!” Xu Xia didn’t catch it, looking up in confusion.

The clouds had been blown away by the wind, the moon reappeared, and moonlight fell on her face, making it look particularly fresh and alluring, her lips tainted with the color of wine, truly tempting.

Her face was right in front of him. She was taller than the average girl, a perfect angle for... a kiss.

”This time, I can’t hold back!”

Whispering, he raised his hand to cup her face, lowering his head to kiss her.

Heaven bear witness, he had wanted to do this for a long time.

The moment their lips met, lightning flashed through both their minds.

Her lips carried the flavor of wine, such a rich aroma he couldn’t possibly resist.

Repressed for too long, the eruption was naturally wild, holding her waist tighter, he unhesitatingly invaded the fortress of her lips and teeth.

Everything happened too quickly and suddenly. Xu Xia didn’t even have time to think; she was already his captive.

Instinctively, she could only raise her arms, wrapping them around his neck, offering no resistance to his actions.

Their lips and teeth grazed each other.

...

...

Breathless, he let her go, Leng Zirui’s face pressed against hers, his hot breath warming her face, making it blaze with heat.

”I warned you, don’t tempt me...” he said breathlessly.

So, it turned out, she was just tempting him, then... let go completely just this once.

Even if she couldn’t have his heart, at least she could have him, if she must have one man in her life, she hoped it was him.

Holding his neck even tighter, Xu Xia voluntarily kissed his neck again.

He was too outstanding; she wasn’t worthy.

But at least, she could have him once.

Even if the morning light came, she could pretend nothing happened, just a lapse in judgment fueled by alcohol.

Leng Zirui’s throat tightened, ”I said, don’t...”

She just pretended not to hear, continuing to kiss him.

Leng Zirui was about to go crazy!

With his hands on her shoulders, he finally straightened his arms and pushed her away.

”Xu Xia, you’re drunk!”

”I’m not drunk!” Xu Xia suddenly raised her voice, but she dared not look up at him, ”I’m very sober right now, Leng Zirui, I know I’m not good enough for you, but I really do like you. Laugh at me if you want.”
