After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1477: Chapter 1481: I’m a Man Too

Xu Xia lowered her face, not daring to look at his eyes, afraid her own eyes would betray her true emotions, ”Then I’ll go back to sleep.”

She turned around, raised her hand to grab the door handle, and opened the door.

Watching her walk towards the door, Leng Zirui suddenly felt an uncontrollable emotion rise.

”Xu Xia!”

He reached out and grabbed her wrist.

His grip was so strong, it was as if he would crush her wrist.

Xu Xia was pulled back by him, fell into his arms, and supported herself with a hand on his chest. She looked up at him in confusion, ”What’s wrong?!”

With her face so close, Leng Zirui instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist. He lifted his hand and pinched her chin, leaning his face towards hers.

His eyes held an emotion she couldn’t understand, very hot, very intense...

Xu Xia felt a bit flustered.

However, as she watched his face move closer, she didn’t dodge.

”Buzz!”

In Xu Xia’s handbag, her phone started buzzing.

The sound snapped Leng Zirui back to reality, his rationality returning to him.

Originally about to kiss her on the lips, he slightly shifted and his mouth moved to her ear.

”Next time, don’t wear such revealing clothes around me. I’m also a man, if I lose control, don’t blame me!” Releasing her, Leng Zirui grabbed the clothes and his things from the cabinet, striding towards the door, ”You stay in this room, I’ll sleep across the hall!”

Entering the room across the hall, Leng Zirui closed the door and rushed into the bathroom, immediately turning on the cold water, standing under the stream.

Now, he needed to sober up.

The cold water splashed on him, and the restless emotions inside him finally began to calm down.

He raised his hand to wipe his face, tore off a dry towel to clean his body, wrapped it around his waist, and walked out from the bathroom. His gaze swept over the paper bags on the floor containing clothes, and he simply frowned.

Buying clothes, buying jewelry for a woman was definitely a first in his life.

Every time he saw her, there was a desire to get close to her.

The feeling earlier wasn’t just instinct.

Could it be that he really started liking this crazy girl?!

”Damn it!” Leng Zirui raised his hand to rub his wet hair, ”Leng Zirui, you’ve really played yourself this time!”

If that crazy girl knew he liked her, she’d definitely laugh to death.

She’d definitely say, Leng Zirui, didn’t you say you’d never marry me even if I were the last woman on earth?

Didn’t you say you liked the buxom type?

Didn’t you say you had a battalion of women chasing after you?

...

Yes, that damn girl would definitely mock him like that.

Stop before you fall further, Leng Zirui. She’s not suitable for you, there’s still time!

He put on clean clothes, glanced at his waterproof watch, it was already past eleven. Luo Jun was probably up for his nightly routine. Leng Zirui opened the door and walked out.

Across the hall, the door was already open, Xu Xia stood at the doorway.

The buzzing earlier was her alarm, set because she was afraid she’d sleep too deeply and forget to wake Luo Jun for his nightly routine. Xu Xia had especially set an alarm.

Looking at the person across, both of them spoke almost simultaneously.

”Why aren’t you asleep yet?!”

”I’m going to wake Mo Mo for the bathroom,” Xu Xia explained.

”Leave it to me, you should sleep well!” Leng Zirui stepped towards Luo Jun’s room, ”Remember to lock the door, so you don’t sleepwalk to my bed again!”
