After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1473: Chapter 1477: She Slipped Just Now

Xu Xia had no idea that all those things were bought for her by Leng Zirui. She just assumed he had taken over this guest room, and so she turned to leave, pushing open the door to the left.

Luo Jun was already asleep, and she didn’t want to argue with Leng Zirui any further.

”For the sake of my godson, I won’t argue with you!”

Mumbling to herself, Xu Xia grasped the doorknob and pushed open the door to the left guest room.

The light was on inside.

Xu Xia didn’t pay any attention, just assumed the maid had left it on.

She casually placed the things on the table, lazily stretched her arms, let down her ponytail, and then took off her T-shirt and shorts, picking up her pajamas as she headed to the bathroom.

Just as she reached the bathroom door, her hand was about to grab the handle when the door suddenly opened from the inside and Leng Zirui, freshly showered, stepped out.

Seeing each other, they were both startled.

”Xu Xia?!”

”Leng Zirui!”

Everything happened so suddenly that Xu Xia stood frozen in place.

How on earth was this guy in her bathroom?!

Even someone as composed as Leng Zirui was momentarily taken aback seeing Xu Xia standing in front of him in just her underwear.

The warm lighting in the guest room highlighted her porcelain-white skin, her tousled long curls casually draped over her shoulders. Her enticing clavicles were half-exposed, and whether it was the bra or the angle, from where he stood, she didn’t seem so ”small.” There was a full curve at her chest. Standing right in front of him, her slender waist, long straight legs, her bare feet on the ground with her toenails sparkling, it was quite a sight, quite provocative. Leng Zirui felt his mouth go dry.

Aware of his unusual reaction, he quickly collected himself, diverting his gaze from her body.

”What, do you want to shower with me?”

Xu Xia finally snapped back to reality, let out a scream, and hastily covered her chest with the pajamas in her hand, ”Leng Zirui, you... you bastard, get out of here!”

Leng Zirui wiped the water off his face with his hand, ”This is my room, where do you want me to go?!”

Xu Xia’s face turned pale with anger, ”You... you’re too overbearing! You took my room, now you want this one too. If you didn’t want me here, you could have just said so!”

Outside the door, footsteps echoed urgently.

Leng Zirui raised an eyebrow, grabbed Xu Xia’s wrist, hooked her whole body with his other arm, and brought her into the bathroom.

Bam!

The door was flung open just as Leng Zirui had pulled Xu Xia into the bathroom. The two bodyguards on duty had also rushed in.

Xu Xia’s earlier scream had alarmed them, making them think something was wrong, so they rushed over immediately.

Sweeping their eyes around the room, they saw Leng Zirui standing by the half-open bathroom door, and one of them asked, confused, ”Mr. Leng, what happened just now?!”

Xu Xia wanted to struggle initially, but hearing the voices outside, she instinctively stopped pushing him away.

”Oh, it’s nothing, just... Xu Xia nearly slipped just now!” Leng Zirui explained with a smile.

”Miss Xu?!” One bodyguard’s gaze fell on the pajama Xu Xia had dropped on the floor, and with an ambiguous smile, he said, ”Sorry, Mr. Leng, we thought something happened. Sorry for disturbing you two!”

A man and a woman in a bathroom, with clothes on the floor. They naturally assumed Leng Zirui was being intimate with Xu Xia and hastily exited Leng Zirui’s room, considerately closing the door for the two of them.
