After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1486: Chapter 1490: The Little Girl Who Wants His Affection

Leng Zimo heard the sound, turned his face, and smiled as he stretched out his hand to pull her to sit on his lap.

”When did you get here?”

”I just arrived, did you wait long?!”

”How could I?”

Leng Zimo folded the manuscript paper in his hands, glanced outside the balcony, and only then noticed that it was already dark outside.

Since waking up in the afternoon, he had been working on this piece, and hours had passed unknowingly.

”Are you hungry? I brought something delicious for you!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled and touched his face, ”But... it wasn’t made by me, a nutritionist made it. I’ve been a bit lazy lately.”

Leng Zimo raised his hand to touch her small face, ”Are you a bit tired?!”

”No, I just feel like I can never get enough sleep.” Luo Xiaoqian leaned her face on his shoulder and yawned, ”What are you writing?”

”I’m writing the theme song for ’Magic Realm 2’.” Leng Zimo handed the manuscript to his assistant, gently stroked her hair with his big hand, ”If you’re tired, you don’t have to come see me in person, just rest well at home.”

”Are you planning to sneak kisses with some little nurse behind my back?” Luo Xiaoqian playfully pinched his ear, pretending to be domineering, ”Don’t even think about it. I won’t give you the chance! In this life, you were born mine, and in death, you’ll be my ghost. There’s no escape!”

Seeing her adorable demeanor, Leng Zimo just chuckled and naturally pulled her closer by the waist, bringing his face to hers.

Hugging his neck, Luo Xiaoqian willingly offered her lips.

Savoring her beauty and sweetness, Leng Zimo embraced her, tenderly caressing her small face, ”Don’t worry too much about the company’s matters. Everything can wait until I’m discharged. Just a few days won’t make a difference; you just need to get some rest.”

”I’ve just gotten my position back as the President, can’t you let me enjoy it a bit?!” Luo Xiaoqian gave him a sidelong glance and yawned again, ”Husband, I’m hungry!”

”Let’s go eat!” Leng Zimo carried her to the living room, sitting on the sofa.

Ah Jiu had already laid out the dinner specially prepared by the nutritionist on the table.

Luo Xiaoqian tried to get out of his embrace, but his hand held her waist firmly, while the other took the utensils to feed her.

Smiling, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t refuse and just opened her mouth to eat the food he fed her.

She was truly exhausted; she barely slept last night and had been on the go all day today. Initially, she could savor each bite, but soon tiredness became evident.

In front of outsiders, she had to be at her best, but in his arms, she could naturally let her guard down.

Outside, she was the sharp and decisive queen, Luo Xiaoqian, but in front of him, she was just a little girl longing for his affection.

When Leng Zimo tried to feed her again, Luo Xiaoqian had already dozed off in his arms with her eyes closed.

Putting down the spoon, Leng Zimo simply frowned.

”Ah Jiu?!”

”Don’t worry, sir. Madam hasn’t been sleeping well these days,” Ah Jiu said softly from the side.

Gently touching her forehead with his face to ensure she was fine, Leng Zimo felt slightly relieved.

Carefully, he carried her to the companion bed in the hospital room, gently removed her shoes, and covered her with his own thin blanket.
