After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1475: Chapter 1479: Where Could I Find Another Xu Xia?

”Ha...” Leng Zirui leaned back on the pillow, laughing out loud, ”There’s a bed and a pillow here, why should I leave? If you enjoy watching me sleep from there, then go ahead!”

Xu Xia was about to explode with anger, glaring at Leng Zirui, ”Are you going to give it back to me or not?!”

”This?” Leng Zirui waved the driver’s license in his hand, ”No way!”

Just by looking at her, it was clear she hadn’t learned her lesson. If he gave the license back to her, and she got into trouble again, what would happen?!

”Fine, you won’t give it back, huh?” Xu Xia strode over, grabbing her handbag from the bedside, ”I don’t want it anymore, okay!”

She picked up her handbag, pretending to leave, then suddenly flung the towel in her hand over to land on Leng Zirui’s face, and at the same time, she lunged forward, grabbing his arm and snatching the license from his hand.

Leng Zirui didn’t expect that move; caught off guard, the license was already snatched away by her.

Xu Xia snatched the license and stood up to leave. Leng Zirui had already pulled the towel off his head, gave it a flick, and it wrapped around her arm. With a gentle tug, Xu Xia fell onto the bed, and with his left hand, Leng Zirui reclaimed the license.

”Silly girl, you’re far from beating me!”

”Give it back to me!”

Xu Xia pounced again, pinning him down, and reached out to grab the license, but Leng Zirui raised his arm to dodge.

Her hand missed, her arm slipped, and her nose bumped right into his elbow, causing a sharp pain that almost brought tears to Xu Xia’s eyes.

”Hiss—” Xu Xia lifted her face from his, clutching her stinging nose, ”Leng Zirui, you... you’re a jerk, you... it hurts so much!”

Seeing her teary-eyed, Leng Zirui was startled and immediately hugged her waist, sitting up, ”Did it really hurt?”

”I’m bleeding; how could it not hurt?!” Xu Xia yelled, holding her nose.

Leng Zirui reached for tissues on the nearby cabinet, ”Take your hand away, let me see!”

”I don’t need your help!” Xu Xia smacked his hand away, trying to get up from him.

”Stop messing around!” Leng Zirui let go of the license, grabbed her hand off her nose, moved it aside, and saw the blood coming from one side of her nose. He frowned, hurriedly pressing a tissue against her nose, ”You’re too fragile, bleeding from just a bump?!”

”What do you mean just a bump, you clearly hit me!” With her nose covered, Xu Xia’s voice was muffled, sounding somewhat like she was pouting despite being upset.

Leng Zirui chuckled, ”Why would I hit you? You were the one who pushed your nose over.”

”Anyway, it’s your fault. If you had given back my license, would I have come to snatch it?”

”If you weren’t driving so recklessly, would I have taken your license away?”

”I had my reasons!”

”You think you’re me? It was so dangerous on the highway that day. You were just two meters away from hitting that big truck.”

”Your car’s insured anyway.”

”The car’s insured, but what about you? If you get hurt, where am I supposed to find another Xu Xia?!”

Xu Xia opened her mouth but couldn’t make a sound.

So, he wasn’t worried about his car but was concerned about her safety?!

Leng Zirui carefully removed the tissue pressed against her nose, checked to make sure the bleeding had stopped, and breathed a sigh of relief.
