Chapter 1483: Chapter 1487: You Didn’t Hit the Target

On the side, the electronic scoreboard on Luo Jun’s shooting lane automatically displayed the score—8 rings.

Leng Zirui nodded towards the scoreboard, his tone filled with pride, ”See that, we Leng family members are born with a feel for guns!”

Xu Xia pouted, she didn’t believe it, could she be worse than a little kid?!

Raising the pistol, she squinted one eye, aimed, and then pulled the trigger.

The force of the pistol was greater than she imagined, her hand shook, and the gun almost dropped.

Xu Xia eagerly lifted her gaze, looking towards the electronic scoreboard.

On the screen, the red ”0” hadn’t moved at all.

”What’s going on?!” Xu Xia asked Leng Zirui puzzled.

”Obviously, you didn’t hit the target!” Leng Zirui laughed.

She didn’t even hit the target, how could she be so lousy?!

Xu Xia refused to give up, she picked up the gun again and shot once more.

Bang bang bang!

Three consecutive shots, the scoreboard stubbornly remained at 0.

She was so frustrated she pouted, took a glance at Leng Zirui, but was too embarrassed to ask for help.

Leng Zirui smiled, walked behind her, and lifted his hand to steady her right arm, ”Keep your arm level, raise your left hand, hold the gun with both hands, spread your feet, toes slightly outward, shoulder-width apart, this way, it helps stabilize your body. Now, let’s learn to aim!”

His hands reached out from behind her, holding her hands and the gun together, his face close to hers, ”Relax your breathing. Now, follow my lead, inhale... exhale... inhale... exhale...”

His chest pressed against her back, through their thin clothes, she could clearly feel his firm chest, and the coolness of his cheek against hers, Xu Xia felt flustered, unable to remain calm.

”Aren’t singers like you all about breath control?” Leng Zirui withdrew his right hand, gently placing it on her abdomen, ”You need to use abdominal breathing, just like when you’re singing...”

Xu Xia bit her lip, trying hard to calm herself, then followed his guidance, breathing and concentrating.

”Very good...” Leng Zirui grasped her hands again, gently moving the pistol, ”Don’t just use your eyes, use your heart to look, carefully watch the target, there’s a red bullseye, think of it as your audience, don’t be nervous... that’s it... fire...”

Xu Xia pulled the trigger, the bullet flew out of the gun.

The number on the scoreboard finally moved, changing from 0 to 6.

”Not bad!” Leng Zirui glanced at the scoreboard, ”Try again!”

Finally hitting the target, Xu Xia’s confidence soared. She immediately aimed again as he had instructed.

Leng Zirui steadied her arm, watching her movements, softly encouraging by her ear, ”Yes, just like that, when you feel you’ve aimed, go ahead and shoot.”

Xu Xia fired once more.

The number on the scoreboard instantly changed to 9.

”9 rings!” Xu Xia turned her face excitedly, ”Leng Zirui, did you see, I hit 9 rings!”

”Very good.” Leng Zirui didn’t hold back his praise.

”Again!”

Xu Xia raised the gun again, Leng Zirui lifted his arm to help her adjust her posture. After two shots, she had begun to find her rhythm, her movements were very standard, barely needing his adjustments.

As Xu Xia aimed, Leng Zirui naturally looked at her face.

The two were so close, he could clearly see the light golden fuzz on her skin under the lights, her expression was very focused, just like when she played the piano, beautiful and serene, her lips slightly parted, with a soft sheen, her slightly full lips especially sensual and enticing.
