After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1466: Chapter 1470: Who Is His Wife?

Luo Xiaoqian stopped in her tracks, waved goodbye to the others, and Leng Zirui held Luo Jun’s other little hand, leading the two into the elevator.

”What do you two want to eat? This meal’s on me!”

”I want roast duck and soybean paste noodles!” Luo Jun immediately said.

”And you?” Leng Zirui looked at Xu Xia.

”Seeing certain people makes me lose my appetite,” Xu Xia said.

Leng Zirui laughed, ”That’s perfect, saves me a meal’s expense.”

Soon, the three of them went downstairs, Leng Zirui sat in the driver’s seat, and Xu Xia took Luo Jun to the back seat.

Due to Luo Jun’s request, Leng Zirui took them directly to a Beijing-Style Restaurant.

After entering a private room, Leng Zirui didn’t ask Xu Xia’s opinion and started ordering dishes on his own.

Soon, the food arrived, and Leng Zirui personally wrapped roast duck for Luo Jun. Xu Xia just sat at the table, not touching her chopsticks.

”Godmother, why aren’t you eating?”

”Don’t worry about her, your godmother has already attained enlightenment and doesn’t partake in worldly food,” Leng Zirui teased while handing a piece of wrapped duck meat over, signaling Luo Jun to give it to Xu Xia.

”Godmother, this is for you.” The little guy immediately handed the duck meat to Xu Xia.

Xu Xia was in a bad mood, with no appetite, but facing Luo Jun, she couldn’t muster any anger, just forced a smile, ”Godmother isn’t hungry, you eat.”

”It’s really delicious, why don’t you try it?” Luo Jun insisted, bringing the duck meat to her mouth.

With no choice, Xu Xia took the duck meat, bit into it, but it tasted like chewing rubber, flavorless.

The men in the Leng Family all pamper women. Thinking about how Leng Zirui might pamper that girl just like Leng Zimo pampers Luo Xiaoqian made her mood even more tangled. She chewed on the duck meat but couldn’t swallow it.

The little one, being young, didn’t sense the mood. Leng Zirui, with his keen observation, glanced at Xu Xia and sensed something was off with her.

”Did you just get dumped or what? Can’t even eat a meal?” He teased on purpose.

”You’re the one who got dumped!” Xu Xia, afraid he’d see through her, immediately swallowed the duck meat and then reached for more food with chopsticks, trying her best to eat.

Leng Zirui originally thought she had some issue, but seeing her back to normal, he felt relieved, smiled, and helped her with some dishes.

After the meal, Leng Zirui suggested the three of them go shopping, and Luo Jun agreed. Xu Xia, though not interested, didn’t want to spoil the fun and agreed.

Leng Zirui drove straight to a high-end shopping mall, bought two sets of clothes for the little guy in the children’s section, and naturally took them upstairs to the women’s section.

”Hello sir, are you here to pick out clothes for your wife?” The sales assistant immediately greeted and inquired.

Since Leng Zirui and Xu Xia were with Luo Jun, she naturally assumed they were a family of three.

”Who’s his wife?” Xu Xia retorted, displeased.

”I’m sorry!” The sales assistant apologized quickly, ”I thought you two were married.”

As Leng Zirui took a set of clothes off the rack, she quickly went over, ”Sir, great choice, this is our new summer collection, perfect for your girlfriend’s style.”

”I’m not his girlfriend!” Xu Xia countered again.

The sales assistant was stunned, ”Ah... right... sorry!”
