After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 881: Chapter 885: Zimo Was Originally Yours

In her bag, Luo Xiaoqian’s phone suddenly rang.

She quickly took out her phone from the bag, and on the screen, there was only one letter - L.

”It’s Zimo.”

Leng Lin smiled, ”Should I give you some privacy?”

”No need.” Luo Xiaoqian’s face turned a little red. She raised her hand and pressed the answer button, ”Zimo, it’s Sissi.”

”Still working late?”

”Yeah, I still have some work to finish up.”

”How about having dinner together?”

”I... I might be a bit late.”

Leng Zimo gave the address of a restaurant, ”I’ll wait for you.”

”Well... alright, I’ll come over once I’m done.”

Luo Xiaoqian hung up the phone and smiled apologetically at Leng Lin.

Leng Lin just shook his head sympathetically. Obviously married, yet having to act like strangers, it must be tough for this girl.

”When are you planning to tell him?”

”It’s still not the right time. You know his temper. If he finds out the truth, I don’t know what he would do. Besides...” Luo Xiaoqian bit her lip, ”He still doesn’t remember me now. Telling him suddenly might be too much for him. My plan is to clear things up first, then tell him gradually. Although he doesn’t recognize who I am now, I can feel that... there’s still a place for me in his heart!”

Leng Lin furrowed his brows in thought for a moment. He had to agree she made a good point. Leng Zimo didn’t remember Luo Xiaoqian, and now wasn’t the time to reveal the truth.

”Alright, let’s just decide to keep it this way for now.” Leng Lin sighed with sympathy, ”You and Mo Mo have to bear it a bit longer. Once everything is resolved, you and your child can come home. As for Zimo, don’t worry about it. You know his personality. If he didn’t care for you, he wouldn’t act this way towards you and Mo Mo. I know the woman he loves most has always been you, whether he remembers it or not.”

Luo Xiaoqian nodded, ”How’s your health?”

”I’m doing well, don’t worry.” Leng Lin stood up, ”It’s getting late. You should also go back and rest. If there are any issues, call me anytime. I’ll also update you if there’s any progress.”

”Okay!” Luo Xiaoqian stood up with him, ”Shall I see you home?”

”No need.” Leng Lin reached out to pat her slender shoulders, ”Promise me, take good care of yourself. Zimo is yours from the start, don’t be too reserved with him.”

Luo Xiaoqian gave him a smile, ”I know.”

”Alright, I’ll be off. Take good care of yourself.” Leng Lin patted her shoulder and turned to walk towards the door.

Luo Xiaoqian escorted him to the door. Leng Lin walked a few steps ahead, then stopped and said seriously, ”I’m proud of you, girl. Keep it up!”

”I will!” Luo Xiaoqian smiled at him, ”Mo Mo and I will be back soon!”

Watching Leng Lin leave, Luo Xiaoqian returned to her office, collected her belongings, and then drove to the Italian Restaurant Leng Zimo mentioned. She entered, told the waiter Mr. Leng’s name, and was immediately taken to the second floor, to a semi-enclosed two-seat area partitioned by a vine.

Leng Zimo sat by the window, staring blankly at the night outside. Hearing footsteps, he immediately turned his face, and seeing her, his slightly furrowed eyebrows naturally relaxed.

”Have you been busy lately?”
