After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 860: Chapter 864: Where Did This Cute Little Creature Come From?

Leng Zimo smiled as he held Luo Jun and sat him in the front passenger seat, while Leng Zirui drove the car to the training ground out back.

In the training ground, two squads were undergoing training. The little one was seeing such a scene for the first time and immediately stood up from his seat, leaning on the door to watch with great interest.

Leng Zimo got the little one out of the car and, together with Leng Zirui, came to the shade of some trees, where two subordinates had already brought over a few small stools.

The little one sat on a small stool, resting his chin on his hands, and was soon engrossed in what he saw.

Beside him, Leng Zirui looked at the little one’s delicate profile and was filled with curiosity, ”Where did you get this little cutie from?!”

Leng Zimo had never liked children, as Leng Zirui well knew. Now bringing a little one here to play was very unusual.

”A friend’s child,” Leng Zimo replied lightly.

”A friend?” Leng Zirui’s scrutinizing gaze fell on his face, ”A woman?”

”Single mom, she’s on a business trip, and I’m helping to take care of the child,” Leng Zimo looked at Luo Jun, a natural smile appearing on his face.

Seeing his expression, Leng Zirui frowned slightly, ”What, planning to go all in, buy one get one free?”

Standing up, he unscrewed a bottle of mineral water and handed it to the little one to take two sips. Leng Zimo sat back down on the small stool with a calm expression, ”I told you, I’m just helping to watch the kid. He’s a little actor signed with our company, acting in my new movie!”

He had promised Luo Xiaoqian to keep it secret, and things had only just started. Leng Zimo wasn’t one to boast.

Leng Zirui’s scrutinizing gaze sharpened as he looked at his face. Even though Leng Zimo acted very indifferent, for someone like him to call just to make a child happy, it was enough to prove how exceptionally fond he was of this kid.

”Uncle Zimo, can I touch their guns?” The little one turned to Leng Zimo with a face full of anticipation.

”Of course you can.” Leng Zimo immediately agreed, turning to Leng Zirui and raising his chin to order, ”Didn’t you hear? Bring the guns!”

”What’s the big deal about touching the guns?” Leng Zirui stood up, picking the little one up from the stool, ”How about Uncle takes you to do some target practice, okay?”

”Really, awesome!” The little one nodded excitedly.

”Don’t scare him.” Leng Zimo stood up worriedly.

”Don’t worry, I’ve got it under control. I know you’re not interested in this stuff. Monkey, take my brother to my office.” As soon as Leng Zirui gave the order, Seo Shaochuan, codenamed Monkey, immediately stood up and approached Leng Zimo, ”Mr. Leng, come with me!”

Leng Zimo gave some final instructions before leaving with Seo Shaochuan.

After watching the two leave, Leng Zirui placed the little one back into the SUV, buckled his seatbelt, and then slowly drove the car towards the shooting range.

”Mo Mo, have you known Uncle Zimo for a long time?” Leng Zirui asked as he drove.

”Nope!” Luo Jun looked around curiously, ”I only met Uncle Zimo when I went to Wanwan’s house for a birthday party.”

”Then... your mom must have known Uncle Zimo for a long time, right?” Leng Zirui asked again.

”Of course, my mom is Uncle Zimo’s super fan,” said Luo Jun.

The little one didn’t quite understand what Leng Zirui meant by ”knowing,” he just included Luo Xiaoqian’s admiration for Leng Zimo as knowing him.

Leng Zirui stopped the car outside the shooting range, ”Is that so?!”
