After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 855: Chapter 859: What He Should Do

Hotel luxury suite.

The project manager with gray eyes carefully flipped through the proposal provided by Luo Xiaoqian’s company and only smiled and raised his face when he reached the last page.

”Very good, I’m very satisfied.”

”Thank you for your recognition.” Luo Xiaoqian also smiled.

”So, when can we start the location scouting?” The project manager shrugged, ”Sunday is my wedding anniversary with my wife, I hope to return to the United States before then.”

”Location scouting will take about four days. If we leave in the afternoon, you should be able to catch a flight back to the United States on Saturday night.” Luo Xiaoqian said with a smile.

”I like your efficiency.” The project manager immediately stood up, ”Alright, let’s head out this afternoon.”

”Okay!” Luo Xiaoqian stepped forward and shook his hand, ”We’ll make the arrangements right away. You can rest a bit, and we’ll fly directly to Lhasa this afternoon!”

If they leave today, they would finish the scouting work and return to Beijing by Sunday afternoon, which suits her perfectly.

Although the schedule would be tight, she would just be a bit tired. She couldn’t be at ease without Zimo getting his health checked early.

After bidding farewell to the client and stepping out, Luo Xiaoqian immediately instructed Mike to prepare the tickets. Then she got into her car, took out her phone, and called John to ask him to take good care of Luo Jun.

When she got home and was packing, Mike called to inform her that the tickets were booked.

She carried her luggage downstairs and went directly into the garage. After hesitating for a moment, she eventually took out her phone and dialed Leng Zimo’s number.

”I won’t be back in Beijing until Saturday afternoon. If you have time, please take care of Luo Jun.”

”No problem, leave it to me.” Leng Zimo immediately agreed.

”Thank you for your effort.”

She spoke politely, but in fact, was not polite at all.

He is Luo Jun’s father; these things are naturally Leng Zimo’s responsibilities. She, of course, wouldn’t be polite with him.

Six hours later.

As soon as Luo Xiaoqian stepped onto the soil of Gongga Airport, her phone received a WeChat message as soon as it was turned on.

It was a short video. In the video, the little boy was sitting in Leng Zimo’s arms, holding a cute little alarm clock.

”Mom, I’m with Uncle Zimo. Uncle Zimo gave me an alarm clock so that I won’t be late. Take good care of yourself and don’t make me worry.”

Leng Zimo also moved closer to the camera, ”Sissi, don’t worry about us. Just focus on your work. Mo Mo has me; I’ll take good care of him. Give us a call when you have time.”

The screen froze, showing the two faces, one big and one small, filling the entire frame.

Touching their faces on the screen, Luo Xiaoqian put away her phone and got into the taxi.

The car headed towards Lhasa City. Soon, she could see Lhasa in the distance. Luo Xiaoqian immediately pointed out to the client beside her, ”Look, that is the Potala Palace, the holy place in the hearts of believers. Many devotees come here from thousands of miles away, prostrating all the way as they make their pilgrimage. Do you see the polished ground? All of it has been smoothed by the hands and knees of the believers... I noticed that one of the songs in your playlist has plateau music. I think we could do more location scouting here...”

Now, besides John, the little boy has Leng Zimo by his side, so she can rest assured and focus on her work.
