After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 859: Chapter 863: Why Is It a Little Baby

After dinner, John and Luo Jun went to school, while Leng Zimo drove back to his villa. He took a shower, changed clothes, and packed a few more pieces into his suitcase. Since Luo Xiaoqian wouldn’t be back until the weekend, he decided to stay at her place for the next few days.

Because he was concerned about the little guy, Leng Zimo canceled all the dinner appointments he could for the entire week and would go straight to Luo Xiaoqian’s villa after work to prepare nutritious late-night snacks and breakfasts for the little guy. John also benefited a lot from this.

In the blink of an eye, it was already the weekend. Knowing that Luo Xiaoqian would return to Beijing tonight, Leng Zimo didn’t work overtime.

So, the two men, one big and one small, both stayed in bed.

After playing hide-and-seek with the quilt for a while with Luo Jun on the bed, Leng Zimo smiled and pulled the little guy out of the quilt.

”How about we go out and play?”

”Sure, where are we going?”

The little guy immediately got excited.

”Where do you want to go?”

”The amusement park? The zoo? Or the aquarium?! I’ve been to all those. They’re crowded and boring!” The little guy frowned, then his eyes suddenly lit up. ”Last time Grandpa Leng said he could take me to the shooting range. How about we go find Grandpa Leng?”

”The shooting range?!” Leng Zimo raised an eyebrow, ”Do you really want to go?!”

The little guy nodded.

”No need to find Grandpa Leng. Uncle Zimo can take you.” Leng Zimo hugged him and sat up, ”Get up, get ready, we’re going to the shooting range!”

An hour later, at the Eagle Falcon Training Base.

Leng Zirui lazily sat on the steps, watching Luo Jun, who was decked out in camouflage, climb out of the back seat. He had a surprised look in his eyes, ”I thought you were bringing a lady, but it’s a little baby?!”

”I’m not a baby, I was weaned a long time ago!” Luo Jun immediately corrected.

Leng Zirui chuckled, ”Oh, little guy, small stature but big temper!”

Also dressed casually, Leng Zimo held the little guy’s hand and led him to Leng Zirui, ”Mo Mo, this is Uncle Zirui.”

”Uncle Zirui?!” The little guy looked Leng Zirui up and down, ”Was that telescope you gave me for my birthday last time?”

Leng Zirui was a bit surprised when he heard that, looking him up and down before he understood, ”Oh, you’re the little birthday star Mo Mo who shares the same birthday as Wanwan!”

”That’s me.” Knowing he was the uncle who had given him a gift, the little guy immediately thanked him politely, ”Thank you for the gift, but...” He looked Leng Zirui up and down again, ”Are you really a General?”

This little guy was not just adorable, but also had a grown-up demeanor, which naturally made Leng Zirui like him a bit more, ”Why, don’t I look like one?”

The little guy’s gaze examined him from head to toe, finally settling on his shoulders, ”Where’s your epaulet?”

”Oh!” Leng Zirui squatted down, looking at the little guy with keen interest, ”You even know about epaulets. Do you know what a General’s epaulet looks like? Don’t you want to see the guns? If you get it right, I’ll take you to see them.”

”Isn’t it one tassel with three stars!” Luo Jun said.

”Hey, Little Thing, let’s go, I’m in a good mood today. I’ll let you see for yourself.” Leng Zirui stood up, got into the off-road vehicle at the entrance, ”You two, get in!”
