After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 581: Chapter 585: Plagiarism Controversy [3]

”Xiao Qian?!” Xu Pei frowned and looked towards Luo Xiaoqian at her side, ”What’s going on?”

Luo Xiaoqian, who had never experienced anything like this, was inevitably panicked. Upon being asked, she hesitated, ”I... I don’t know!”

The reporters nearby naturally took her reaction as a sign of guilt and immediately started bombarding her with questions.

”Miss Luo, don’t you think you owe everyone an explanation?”

”Is what the homeless singer said true?”

”Why would he have this song’s lead sheet?”

”Taking other people’s work, that behavior is even more shameful than a thief!”

...

”That’s not true, the song is indeed written by me!” Luo Xiaoqian said loudly.

”If you wrote it, then how do you explain that the other party knows the melody and lyrics of this song?” a reporter countered.

Yu Tong and Zhuo Yannan and others quickly came to their senses, rushed over, and shielded Luo Xiaoqian.

”I think there must be some misunderstanding here!” Yu Tong took the host’s microphone and raised her palm with a smile, ”Everyone, please don’t be anxious. Emperor View Group and Luo Xiaoqian will provide everyone with a reasonable explanation.”

”Exactly!” Zhuo Yannan also stepped forward, ”The song by Luo Xiaoqian is indeed her original work. Her sheet music is on my desk, and besides this tune, there are two other songs in the album that are all created by her. Starting from her last single ’Dropping Lip,’ I believe everyone is familiar with Xiao Qian’s character and talent. She would never be someone who plagiarizes another’s work, and she also has the ability to create.”

”Give me a break!” The young man with the guitar held up the player in his hands, ”I can clearly tell everyone that all the songs in this album marked as her originals were written by me, including the ’Only You’ that Emperor View has been mystically hyping. If you don’t believe me, you can keep listening to my recordings. Here, everything is in its original creation state. She didn’t even change anything and made them her works.”

”Take him out of the venue!” Xu Pei ordered in a low voice.

”Why do you have the right to take him away?” A journalist rushed over to protect the young man, ”Everyone, stop them. If Luo Xiaoqian hasn’t plagiarized, why are you afraid to let him finish playing the recording?”

”Everyone, hold on!” Xu Pei was about to say something else when Luo Xiaoqian had already stepped forward from behind them, ”This reporter is right. I won’t be afraid of things I have not done. Since you claim that all the tunes were plagiarized by me, well then, play your original recordings!”

She knew the songs were written by her, and she understood that better than anyone.

’Destined’ was the album’s lead song. Excerpts had been released earlier and edited. It was not impossible for someone to piece together a similar song from those excerpts.

But for the other songs, until now not a snippet of information had been revealed aside from the song titles. She didn’t believe he could have those too?!

”Luo Xiaoqian, you’ve got guts!” The young man sneered, and then he pressed the button on the player.

The whole venue fell silent, and then the music started playing from the small player.

Listening to the familiar melody and lyrics, Luo Xiaoqian was completely shocked, her complexion uncontrollably turned pale.

”Impossible, how can this be...”

It was a song she had written herself; how could he have the same tune and lyrics?
