After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 559: Chapter 563 The Unique Birthday Gift【3】

Yu Tong didn’t know what she was thinking and thought she just wanted to buy some souvenirs, so she suggested she take some handicrafts back with her.

”Italian craftsmanship is world-renowned, things like leather goods, glassware, clothes, shoes... they are all handmade. If you want to bring something back for someone, it’s a great choice because every item here is unique. Even if the styles are the same, they will each have their own distinctions due to being handmade.”

”Unique?”

Luo Xiaoqian’s gaze swept over the dazzling array of goods in the shop windows by the roadside and suddenly lit up. She immediately pulled Yu Tong into a jewelry store and then asked the owner in English if she could make something by hand.

The owner was a pure Venetian, and his English was not good.

After a lot of gesturing between them, and with Yu Tong’s help, communication was finally achieved. The owner indicated that he could help Luo Xiaoqian realize her idea, of course, it might be a bit more expensive.

”Deal!”

Without waiting for the owner to quote a price, Luo Xiaoqian had already agreed in English.

After paying the deposit, she left the jewelry store. The owner was in charge of preparing the materials she needed while she hurried back to the shooting location to continue working. In her free time, she started sketching with pencil and paper.

That night, she returned to the jewelry store and, under the owner’s guidance, began her work.

From the initial melting of materials to the creation of the sand molds... she completed all the work by herself.

Yu Tong had already guessed that she was preparing this for Leng Zimo and, very considerately, did not watch, giving her the space to keep it a secret.

They shot in Venice for a total of three days, and aside from the necessary work, she spent all her time in the small workshop behind the jewelry shop, staying the entire night on the last evening.

When she emerged from the workshop in the morning, feeling sore and tired, it wasn’t just the owner but also Yu Tong and even Gao Jie who were already asleep on the sofas outside.

That day, the last scene of the MV was completed and the work team returned to the country.

At the airport, Luo Xiaoqian was once again surrounded by reporters and fans, but fortunately, the company was prepared, and Luo Xiaoqian, disguised as an ordinary passenger, left the airport through a special passage.

”The post-production of the album is already finished, and tomorrow it will be sent to the record company for disc production. The cover and album sleeve are also in the works,” Yu Tong flipped through the folder in her hands, ”For the next two days, I haven’t arranged any work for you, so you can manage your time freely, and spend some quality couple time with President Leng.”

”Get out of here!” laughed Luo Xiaoqian, giving her a white look.

Yu Tong closed the file she was holding, ”I’m really curious. For a gift, you worked three extra nights, what on earth did you make?”

”It’s a secret,” Luo Xiaoqian said with a smile.

Yu Tong grinned mischievously, ”I’m not in a hurry, once President Leng’s birthday is over, I just have to observe him from head to toe, and I’m sure I’ll discover something!”

Although she did not know exactly what Luo Xiaoqian had made, since it was in a jewelry store, it must be something similar.

Seeing through Xiao Qian’s ruse, Yu Tong did not attempt to conceal it and smiled back at her, ”You three have to keep it a secret for me!”

”No problem!” Yu Tong said mischievously, ”However, when the album sells big, you better give us three a hefty red envelope, or else, next time we won’t keep your secret, right?”

Gao Jie, who was driving, and Lin Ye, who was sitting in the passenger seat, both started laughing, ”Exactly!”
