After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 580: Chapter 584: Plagiarism Controversy [2]

Luo Xiaoqian took a deep breath and her gaze slowly swept over the audience present.

In her eyes, however, she saw Leng Zimo who was not there.

”Actually, this song can also be seen as a common journey of the heart for young men and women. What I want to express is a state of wanting to dare to love or not. Love is beautiful, but what may coexist with beauty is getting hurt, feeling heartache. If you don’t love, you won’t feel pain. It’s like the Buddhist quote says, ’If one deviates from love, they will be free from worry and fear.’ However, some things seem to be destined by the heavens. Some connections you can’t run from or hide from. It’s better to just let go and love once, even if it means going through the cold and darkness of the night. The sun will always rise, and a new day will always come...”

Because these words stemmed from her heart, her tone was calm, but there was an emotion that naturally revealed itself.

Below the stage, many fans who had been through similar experiences were moved by her, their eyes reddening.

In the stands, someone suddenly stood up, loudly declaring.

”Luo Xiaoqian, you thief, you are lying!”

At that shout, the room of people was startled.

All eyes turned toward the direction of the voice.

They saw a young man with a guitar on his back already standing up from his chair, walking into the aisle, raising his hand and pointing at Luo Xiaoqian with a tone filled with disdain.

”This song isn’t written by her at all. I am an underground tunnel singer, this is my work. She happened to hear my piece, said she really appreciated it and even mentioned that she would help introduce me to Emperor View. But then she included this song in her own album. Luo Xiaoqian, you plagiarist, shameless thief!”

Zhuo Yannan was momentarily stunned, then quickly stood up, ”Security!”

By this time, the staff had also reacted, rushing toward the aisle.

The reporters had already reacted in an instant, taking out their cameras to capture the scene, and several of them made their way onto the stage, extending microphones toward Luo Xiaoqian.

”Miss Luo, what is this all about?”

”How do you explain the accusation of plagiarism against you?”

...

Luo Xiaoqian had no idea why such a situation had arisen, and just stood there on the stage, instinctively responding, ”I didn’t, this song really is my work!”

The young man with the guitar struggled against the security personnel, while shouting, ”You’re talking nonsense. It’s not just this song, but also ’Chance Encounter’ and ’Only You’ from the album; they are all my works. You’ve been playing mysterious games, claiming that ’Only You’ was specially written for you by a fan and delivered to Emperor View when, in fact, it’s just a publicity stunt of yours...”

At this moment, Xu Pei had already strode onto the stage and took the microphone from the host, ”Let him go!”

”Director Xu?” Zhuo Yannan looked over confused.

”We have done nothing wrong, so we have nothing to fear,” Xu Pei spoke with a calm face, ”Luo Xiaoqian and I are not only work partners but also good friends. I trust her character. You say she’s a plagiarist, a thief, do you have any evidence? If you can’t produce evidence, we have the right to sue you for slander!”

She spoke with righteous indignation, appearing to vigorously defend Luo Xiaoqian.

Zhuo Yannan frowned and motioned gently to the staff, and security immediately let the young man go. The young man with the guitar walked up onto the stage and then pulled out a player from his pocket.

”You want evidence? This is the evidence!”

He raised his hand and pressed the switch, and music immediately sounded from the player.

Guitar playing and singing, the melody and lyrics completely matched the song ”Destined” that Luo Xiaoqian had just sung.

...

...

That’s it.
