Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 390: Chapter 210: Drunken Life, Dreamlike Death

Justus Spencer shook his head, ”Don’t worry about these things, just give birth to the baby for me, that’s the most important!”

He glanced at Molly Zimmerman’s belly, and his mood finally calmed down.

He started the car, left the neighborhood where Molly Zimmerman lived, and drove onto the street.

Each time Molly Zimmerman had a prenatal check-up, she would go to the best Maternity Hospital in Z City.

It was a private hospital, somewhat far from where they lived, with an overpass nearby.

Justus Spencer drove the car, quickly merged into the bustling traffic, heading towards the Maternity Hospital.

About halfway there, the overpass appeared ahead.

Passing under the overpass, not far ahead was the Maternity Hospital where Molly Zimmerman had her check-up.

Seeing that now there weren’t many cars, Justus Spencer pressed the gas pedal, wanting to get through quickly.

At this moment, a black SUV suddenly came speeding from behind and crashed fiercely into Justus Spencer’s Ferrari sports car!

Justus Spencer only felt a strong force rush from behind, he yelled out, unable to hold onto the steering wheel.

The airbags of the driver and passenger seats deployed simultaneously, hitting Justus Spencer and Molly Zimmerman, making their heads spin.

The two cried out together.

But the car behind showed no intention of braking; it slammed the gas and continued forward, almost like a bulldozer, pushing Justus Spencer’s Ferrari sports car directly towards the column of the overpass!

There was a deafening crash!

The thick cement of the overpass column was smashed down, but that mustard-yellow Ferrari was sandwiched between the column and the large SUV behind, almost becoming a pile of scrap metal!

Then both cars exploded and caught fire, flames shooting up, emitting thick black smoke.

The cars passing by all stopped, some reported to the police, others watched, and some took photos with their phones, quickly posting them on social media.

#Major car accident near the Z City Maternity Hospital overpass!#

#Mustard-yellow Ferrari turned into scrap metal!#

The Ferrari, being a luxury car, naturally drew attention, along with the photos of the fiery wreck, these topics quickly hit the trending lists.

...

Cameron Spencer was having lunch with Brooke Osborne in the glass conservatory of the mansion when he received the phone call.

The call came from his secretary.

”Boss, something major has happened!” His secretary had been with him for many years, had seen many storms, but his voice this time was somewhat panicked.

Cameron Spencer frowned, quickly glanced at Brooke Osborne sitting across from him, stood up with his cane, walked onto the lawn outside the conservatory, and asked solemnly, ”What’s happened?”

His secretary, with a mournful voice, tremblingly said, ”...Bo...boss, the...young master just...just...”

”What happened?” Cameron Spencer suddenly blacked out, his body swayed a few times, almost falling.

He quickly pinched his fingers together, hurriedly calculated something, and suddenly was dumbfounded.

The secretary, now speaking clearly, said, ”Bo...boss, the young master just had a major car accident!...has been sent to the hospital...the young master’s wife is rushing there...”

Cameron Spencer’s tears involuntarily fell.

This was his eldest son, once his only son.

He had devoted the most effort to him, and although he wasn’t his most satisfactory child, the love he had given him was not false.

He just calculated that his paternal bond with this son had ended.

”...Which hospital? I’ll go immediately.” Cameron Spencer steadied himself with his cane, hurriedly walked back to the conservatory, and kindly said to Brooke Osborne, ”Brooke, finish your meal and go back to rest, don’t see anyone today, no one is allowed to come here, remember?”

Brooke Osborne didn’t know what had happened, but Cameron Spencer took a phone call and his demeanor suddenly changed, it was surely something serious.

She nodded involuntarily, ”Okay, you go ahead, I’ll head back first.”

Cameron Spencer ensured there were enough people stationed at the mansion before getting in his Rolls-Royce Phantom to rush to the hospital.

By the time he arrived, Eva Harris was already collapsed in tears at the entrance of the operating room.

Her housekeeper was beside her, earnestly consoling her to hold back her grief.

Cameron Spencer couldn’t help but cry his old tears, walked over to Eva Harris and said, ”Child, don’t cry, go and rest over there.”

He had always treated Eva Harris well because, regardless of her family background or personality, he appreciated her personal qualities.

What a pity...

Cameron Spencer shook his head, watched people lead Eva Harris away, and stood at the operating room door for a while, waiting for the doctors and nurses to file out.

His secretary hurried forward to ask, ”May I ask this doctor, how is the injured person who was just brought in?”

The doctor looked up and saw it was Cameron Spencer, Z City’s famous celebrity, often featured in large photos on various properties, and hurriedly said with a mournful face, ”Is Mr. Spencer here? Are you a relative of the injured person? What a pity, he was already dead when he was brought in, mangled like that, with severe burns, even a god couldn’t save him.”

Cameron Spencer closed his eyes, said hoarsely, ”Thank you.”

After a while, the operating room beside him also opened, another group of doctors and nurses emerged, continuously shaking their heads and sighing.

Cameron Spencer didn’t pay attention, but the doctor introduced, ”The injured person from that car was in the same vehicle with your relative, it was a pregnant woman.”

”What?!” Cameron Spencer’s eyes snapped open, ”Pregnant? Is she still alive?!”

”No.” The doctor from the other operating room said regretfully, ”The baby couldn’t be saved either, over five months, and it was a male fetus.”

Cameron Spencer couldn’t take it anymore, his eyes rolled back, fainting straight away, fortunately his secretary and bodyguards beside him quickly held him up, preventing him from falling to the ground.
