Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 364: Chapter 198: The Skills of the Little Heavenly Master

Weaving through traffic, changing lanes, accelerating and decelerating, constantly swerving left and right.

By the end, he was dizzy and had lost his sense of direction.

Only the clear and soothing voice of Lawrence Winters echoed in his ear, guiding his direction.

He was almost driving on instinct.

To onlookers, his driving seemed masterful, yet extremely perilous.

The two cars tailing him were in even worse shape, almost dizzy from his maneuvers, yet they couldn’t help but follow, their minds a muddled mess.

The two drivers felt something was off, but driving had become so fluid that their hands wouldn’t obey, and they drove on autopilot.

After directing for a while, Lawrence Winters sensed the moment was right and suddenly raised her voice, ”Accelerate! Three o’clock direction!”

Kenneth Osborne instinctively floored the gas pedal, shooting off towards three o’clock.

Like a beam of light cutting through the fog, his mind cleared instantly, and he saw the road ahead.

It turned out he had already exited the highway!

Kenneth Osborne couldn’t bother to look at the navigation, just listening to Lawrence Winters say, ”Slow down, stop by the roadside!”

Kenneth Osborne instinctively slammed the brakes.

The tires of the Tesla let out a long screech as it quickly came to a stop on the roadside emergency lane.

The two cars following them also shot off the highway, as if blind, without slowing or turning, directly ramming into the roadside barrier!

This road was a windy exit from the highway, with railings on one side of a small lake.

The two cars flipped over the railing, plunging into the lake, creating two enormous splashes!

Lawrence Winters hurriedly said, ”Go fast! Another car is coming from behind!”

Kenneth Osborne quickly restarted the car, accelerating swiftly and speeding away.

The pursuing car behind was the professional team sent by Francis Johnson.

They saw the two cars they were chasing plunge into the roadside lake like drunkards right after getting off the highway — truly bizarre!

They stopped, calling for fire trucks and ambulances while phoning Francis Johnson.

”Mr. Johnson, the two cars you wanted us to deal with just drove into the lake.”

Francis Johnson was puzzled, ”They drove in themselves?”

The person nodded, ”I have dashcam footage; I’ll send it to you in a bit. We’ve already caught those two, alive.”

Francis Johnson breathed a sigh of relief, laughing, ”Good, bring them back quickly.”

Very soon, the person sent over the footage captured by the dashcam.

Francis Johnson watched curiously; what in the world was Kenneth Osborne’s car doing weaving through the traffic?

However, as an insider, he watched for a while and found that Kenneth Osborne’s seemingly erratic route actually had a trajectory.

His mind stirred, and he accessed the highway cameras, viewing Kenneth Osborne’s driving route from above.

This time, he noticed that if Kenneth Osborne’s car was a pen, it was as if someone was controlling it to draw figure eights repeatedly on the highway.

The figure eights overlapped, each one slightly offset by fifteen degrees.

When all the eights were connected, the entire route astonishingly resembled a blossoming lotus with overlapping petals on the highway!

This was incredible!

Was he driving, or performing a stunt?

Francis Johnson shook his head speechlessly, thinking it must be another one of those mysterious acts by Lawrence Winters...

He held no prejudice against the Heavenly Master profession, but neither did he believe in it.

However, he knew that the top people in any field usually had genuine skills.

For example, Lawrence Winters, whether a pretender or a worldly sage, had enough skills to draw a multi-petaled lotus on the highway with vehicular techniques today to impress Francis Johnson.

He considered that this technique could be useful in their daily training.

In their line of work, learning more could be life-saving at critical moments.

Just wasn’t sure if Lawrence Winters and her uncle would be willing to teach it.

Francis Johnson thought of Lawrence Winters’ master, Nick Zeller’s master...

This person might be able to put Christopher Mason to use.

Francis Johnson thought, processing the footage he downloaded from the highway cameras and sending it to Christopher Mason, and also to Ian Lothrop.

Within five minutes, Christopher Mason hadn’t contacted him, but Ian Lothrop called immediately.

He asked excitedly, ”...Francis, who did this? Which genius managed to draw this Nine Palace Eight Diagrams formation using a car on the road?!”

Francis Johnson: ”???”

Did he hear that right?

Wasn’t it supposed to be a blossoming multi-petaled lotus?

Francis Johnson tactfully said, ”Professor Ian, look again, doesn’t the image look more like a lotus flower? A blooming, multi-petaled lotus in summer?”

Ian Lothrop studied the image, frowning, ”Francis, are you lovestruck? Seeing flowers everywhere, even lotus, yet you don’t claim it’s the Saint Mother Lotus descending to earth?”

Francis Johnson: ”!!!”

Why was he speaking with Ian Lothrop and suffering such indignity?!

Francis Johnson rubbed his temple, helplessly saying, ”Professor Ian, you might be disappointed, because the person who drove out this picture isn’t a genius, but just a mysterious little trickster.”

”What trickster?! Impossible!” Ian Lothrop shouted, ”This isn’t a blossoming multi-petaled lotus I tell you! It’s actually interlaced with the Nine Palace Eight Diagrams Formation, He Tu Luo Shu, and Bohr model’s Matrix Mechanics! — Each point can be numerically expressed, creating a temporary maze on the highway! — Directing targets to any guided direction!”
