Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2389: Chapter 2390: What Are You So Bothered About?

Ning Zihan donated his bone marrow a year ago, and his health was perfectly fine, so he didn’t take a single one of Su Haoyu’s nutritional supplements; instead, he gave them to Su Haoyu himself to consume.

As for money, he didn’t lack it at all, Su Haoyu was willing to give, but he felt embarrassed to take it.

So he didn’t take a single cent.

If it wasn’t someone he knew, Su Haoyu would definitely insist, but since this person is his daughter-in-law’s brother and might even be his future grandson-in-law, seeing that Ning Zihan didn’t want anything, he didn’t force it. Instead, he planned in his heart to treat Ning Zihan even better in the future.

Just after starting a relationship with An Baobei, Ning Zihan didn’t care if there were matters at his company, he just stayed at the Su family home.

After lunch, An Baobei was too sleepy, so she went upstairs to sleep, while Ning Zihan was stopped by Su Haoyu, who was very grateful and talked with Ning Zihan for quite a while.

It wasn’t until around three in the afternoon that Su Haoyu went upstairs to take a nap.

Seeing An Baobei’s door closed, Ning Zihan assumed she was still sleeping and didn’t disturb her but went to his guest room to catch some sleep as well.

An Baobei woke up at four-thirty in the afternoon, and as soon as she woke up, she energetically went to Ning Zihan’s room and happily said, ”Before, when you asked me out for a meal, I never agreed, ask me again.”

Ning Zihan was amused yet exasperated but still asked, ”Still sending texts?”

”Just ask me directly! I’m right in front of you!”

Only then did Ning Zihan smoothly say, ”Let’s have dinner together tonight.”

An Baobei immediately nodded with a smile and happily said, ”After dinner, let’s go see a movie. Watching a movie with Uncle Lu last time was so boring; I think watching with you would feel better.”

Ning Zihan’s face darkened, ”Can’t you stop bringing up Lu Yimi? And comparing me to him?”

”What’s there to mind! It’s been so long ago! Besides, I don’t even like him!”

Only then did Ning Zihan’s expression soften, agreeing to go see a movie after dinner.

In the evening, Ning Zihan and An Baobei had a candlelight dinner at a restaurant. An Baobei initially thought it would be a casual meal, but the candlelight dinner showed that Ning Zihan was putting his heart into being her boyfriend. Without needing her to say, Ning Zihan even helped her cut the steak... Anyway, An Baobei was very satisfied with Ning Zihan as her boyfriend.

After the candlelight dinner, Ning Zihan and An Baobei went to the cinema to watch a movie. Originally, Ning Zihan planned to book the whole theater, but An Baobei said it wouldn’t have the same atmosphere, so he didn’t. Instead, he bought two tickets to a comedy movie that An Baobei liked.

Before entering the theater to watch the movie, Ning Zihan also bought popcorn and cola.

During the movie, An Baobei laughed heartily, and although Ning Zihan didn’t laugh, he was very attentive to An Baobei. Every time An Baobei reached out, he would pass her popcorn and cola.

Rather than watching the movie, he was more like taking care of An Baobei watching the movie.

However, he didn’t feel bothered at all.

After watching the comedy movie, An Baobei still hadn’t had enough and bought two more tickets for an art film to watch with Ning Zihan.

The couple sitting right in front of them seemed to be a pair of passionate lovers; as they watched, their heads leaned together, kissing deeply, and wouldn’t stop for a long time.

Because they were right in front, An Baobei couldn’t avoid seeing it, felt extremely awkward, and had to look away. When she shifted her gaze to the right, Ning Zihan was there; apparently, he also saw the couple in front kissing and was looking over at her.
