Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2372: Chapter 2373: Relaxing by the Sea

An Jing chuckled, ”Obviously, you’re quite satisfied with how he defends Baobei. Alright, hurry up and deal with it. If you don’t, who knows what they’ll say about Baobei again.”

Su Changyi said, ”Even if I don’t handle it, Ning Zihan will. After all, he’s a CEO. If he can’t manage something this small, he shouldn’t be a CEO.”

An Jing found it even funnier.

An Baobei was very moved by Ning Zihan’s defense of her.

Su Changyi said no more, heading downstairs while calling Lu Yimi to handle the matter.

Since Su Changyi and An Jing appeared together in An Baobei’s live stream, and An Baobei called them mom and dad, fans clipped this scene into videos and put them online, making it so black fans could only spread rumors that no one believed.

The black fans saw Ning Zihan and Su Changyi joining the fray and didn’t dare speak recklessly anymore.

However, Ning Zihan and Su Changyi didn’t let the matter go, uncovering that these black fans were incited by a web celebrity named ”Fairies are beautiful,” and immediately filed a lawsuit against this online personality.

They publicized the affair to the public.

Everyone began to curse this web celebrity, and eventually, the celebrity couldn’t take it and deleted their account due to the scolding.

Because the evidence was overwhelming and the behavior malicious enough to stir online outrage, the web celebrity was sentenced to two years for defamation and ordered to compensate An Baobei nearly 600,000 yuan in losses and issue a public apology.

Not keeping a single penny for herself, An Baobei donated the nearly 600,000 yuan compensation entirely to welfare institutions to help those in need.

Because the issue was thoroughly pursued and clearly illustrated An Baobei as just the victim, her initially tarnished reputation was completely restored.

In total, it only took a month.

Although the matter had passed, An Baobei did not want to broadcast anymore. She had realized through this affair that the internet was not as beautiful as she imagined.

Seeing An Baobei reluctant to continue streaming, An Jing and others worried she’d regret it later, advised her to relax and reconsider, and An Baobei agreed, going to the beach alone the next day.

The Su Family has a villa by the sea, where An Baobei could directly stay when she went there.

An Jing wanted to bring Su Mo and Su Xing along to accompany An Baobei on her escape, but An Baobei wanted her solitude, so she went to the coast alone.

With azure skies, an endless sea, gentle sunlight, and a soft sea breeze, An Baobei donned large sunglasses, laid on the beach with leisure, finding it so comfortable and beautiful.

Her villa was exactly three hundred meters back and to the right.

Lying on the beach compared to staying inside the villa, the feeling of the sea breeze and waves was genuinely different.

Though they said for her to unwind, she had no heartache to process. After a month, she was entirely indifferent to the online slander; she just had no desire to broadcast anymore. Yet being here, touched by the sea breeze and seeing the endless ocean, her spirits were genuinely uplifted, and the breeze seemed to blow away all cares.

While comfortably enjoying the sea breeze, she heard footsteps. Slightly lowering her sunglasses, she glanced sideways and saw Ning Zihan in casual attire walking towards her.
