Chapter 2124: Chapter 2125: My Brother Yi Is Acting So Strange! (Part 1)

Just as Su Changyi finished peeling the apple, he handed it to An Jing, who immediately took a bite without hesitation.

Su Changyi put down the fruit knife and took a bite himself. An Jing was feeling sweet inside and went straight to steal from his mouth, which naturally led to a kiss.

The taste couldn’t be sweeter.

...

In Su Haoyu and Su Chengyu’s eyes, Su Changyi is a workaholic. When they heard from the company that Su Changyi hadn’t been to work for four days, their first reaction was disbelief.

As a result of their disbelief, they video-called Lu Yimi to ask if it was true.

Lu Yimi replied, ”It’s true.”

Su Haoyu and Su Chengyu were nearly jaw-droppingly shocked.

”Not going to work, is he still my brother...” Su Chengyu still found it hard to believe.

”Not going to work, is he still my son...” Su Haoyu too found it hard to believe, just like Su Chengyu.

Workaholic.

What defines a workaholic? Working overtime until 2 a.m. is routine, so how could such a workaholic just not go to work for four consecutive days?

If it’s like last time when he was in the hospital being observed for a concussion and there’s no choice, it’s understandable, but the person is perfectly fine now.

Thinking of this, Su Haoyu immediately questioned, ”Quickly come clean, what’s going on with Yi Er?”

Lu Yimi, who is usually very savvy, was particularly straightforward this time: ”The boss won’t let me say.” After a pause, he suggested, ”How about this, you follow me and you’ll know where the boss is now, and what he’s doing every day.”

Su Chengyu immediately laughed and scolded, ”Lu Yimi, you’re full of tricks! Be careful, or my brother might skin you if he finds out!”

Lu Yimi grinned slyly, ”As long as you don’t rat me out, isn’t that how we always do things?”

Su Chengyu laughed and scolded again, ”Be careful I might sell you out one day when I need money!”

Su Haoyu immediately slapped Su Chengyu on the back of his head and grumbled, ”Yi Mi is on our side. If you dare to sell him out to your brother, I won’t recognize you as a son!”

Su Chengyu was speechless, ”Dad, can you stop being so childish? You always use this to threaten me.”

”So, will you sell him out or not?”

”Since you put it that way, how could I sell him out?” With that, Su Chengyu got excited and asked Lu Yimi, ”When are you going to see my brother so we can secretly follow you?”

Lu Yimi immediately said, ”In an hour, I’ll be delivering lunch, you can secretly follow me.”

”Why does it feel like we’re doing something shady?” Before anyone could respond, Su Chengyu rubbed his hands together and said even more excitedly, ”But it’s so thrilling, we’re finally about to find out why my brother hasn’t been going to work.”

Su Haoyu, however, smacked him on the head again, ”I think you’ve got animal blood boiling! You’ve dated so many girlfriends but couldn’t keep a single one, despite spending so much money!”

Su Chengyu’s new girlfriend had already broken up with him, becoming past tense. It’s because Su Chengyu talks too much; people can’t stand it, and even money can’t keep them for long.

”How could your mother and I have such a useless son!” Su Haoyu scolded harshly.

Su Chengyu pouted, ”Didn’t you say I was adopted? So how come now I’m your and mom’s biological son?”

Seeing Su Chengyu talk back, Su Haoyu attempted to smack him on the head again, but Su Chengyu had already dodged it, leaving Su Haoyu empty-handed.
