Chapter 2103: Chapter 2104: Three Reverse Travelers (9)

An Baobei hesitated, unwilling to move the sword away from his neck: ”But you still haven’t told me about the whereabouts of my father and mother. And why did you lock me in here?”

Ning Zihan had already concluded in his mind that An Baobei had mental issues, so he didn’t argue with her anymore; otherwise, they could go on until dawn without a resolution. This person’s skills were truly exceptional, she had a very dangerous sword in hand, and combined with possible mental issues, she could really go on a killing spree with it.

He simply said, ”I didn’t lock you up. I don’t even know how you got here. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been so angry just now and called in the housekeeper, misunderstanding that you wanted to climb into my bed; as for your parents, I really have no idea.”

The housekeeper and Liang Youxu could both tell that Ning Zihan was trying to stabilize the situation with An Baobei, this lunatic, and they both nodded in agreement, indicating that what Ning Zihan said was true.

An Baobei thought about it carefully and felt it made sense, yet she still didn’t put away the sword: ”Even if it was a misunderstanding, you did insult me, calling me cheap. But I’m not so petty. As long as you apologize, we can consider this over and done with.”

”I’m sorry,” Ning Zihan immediately apologized.

Although the housekeeper and Liang Youxu knew Ning Zihan was trying to calm An Baobei down, they still widened their eyes in disbelief. They knew their young master, the CEO, had never apologized to anyone before.

Only then did An Baobei put away the sword, sheathing it, and then asked with a smile, ”Got any food?”

”Yes.” After a pause, ”Housekeeper, take her to eat.”

The housekeeper quickly led the way.

An Baobei immediately followed the housekeeper. Any matters could wait until she filled her stomach first.

Seeing An Baobei walk away, Liang Youxu leaned toward Ning Zihan and asked, ”CEO, this...”

Ning Zihan, while pulling off his tie and throwing it on the bed, spoke without any emotional fluctuation: ”Contact every mental hospital in the country and see which one she escaped from.”

”Why bother with such trouble, just call the police and have them take her away,” Liang Youxu suggested.

Ning Zihan frowned slightly, showing some resistance to Liang Youxu’s suggestion. While undoing his shirt buttons, he asked in a rather indifferent tone, ”Are you the CEO or am I the CEO?”

”Of course, you’re the CEO!”

”Then do as I say.”

”...Yes, CEO.”

”It’s already night; even if you contact a mental hospital, you might not get any answers. Let’s start dealing with it tomorrow. Go to the surveillance room now and pull up the footage to see how she got into my room.”

”Yes, CEO.” Liang Youxu turned and went to the villa’s surveillance room.

Ning Zihan instructed the servants to replace all the items on his bed. He prepared to go to the bathroom for a shower, but after a few steps toward the bathroom, he buttoned up his shirt again and went downstairs to the dining room.

In the dining room, An Baobei was so hungry that she was sitting at the table, devouring the food.

Ning Zihan frowned slightly and then sat across from An Baobei, snapping his fingers, and a servant immediately brought over some red wine.

He received the wine, swirled the goblet, watching the wine swirl into a beautiful vortex, but he didn’t look at it. Instead, he looked at An Baobei.

Seeing An Baobei solely focused on eating, he leisurely and elegantly took a sip of wine before asking, ”What’s your name?”

”An Baobei. And you?” An Baobei instinctively asked back.

”Ning Zihan.”
