Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2105: Chapter 2106: Adapting to Modern Life (1)

With this thought, An Baobei’s spirits lifted. She needed to find her parents; she didn’t want to be here all alone.

But for now, her immediate priority was to settle down and get familiar with everything here, only then could she think of ways to find her parents.

Unable to figure out why she came here just after a flash of light, An Baobei decided not to waste any brain cells on it and instead focused on settling down. And she didn’t know anyone here... No, she knew one person, that guy called Ning Zihan.

Thinking about this, An Baobei’s eyes brightened up.

Although Ning Zihan had a bit of a bad temper, he should be a decent person, otherwise, he wouldn’t have given her food to eat.

Great, it’s him!

Let him take her in!

Once she decided, An Baobei felt invigorated and headed back, and upon reaching Ning Zihan’s villa gate, found it closed. She was too lazy to call for anyone, so she simply climbed the wall to get in.

”You you you you...” The housekeeper was in the living room pondering the meaning behind his young master’s words when suddenly seeing An Baobei come in left him speechless. Was this person a ghost? How on earth did she get in?

Before he could even ask all his questions, An Baobei walked towards the dining area, complaining, ”Uncle Housekeeper, why did you lock the gate, forcing me to climb over the wall.”

Climb over the wall...

The housekeeper was silent for a moment, then quickly rushed to the courtyard, looking at the high walls of their villa and was once more quite shocked. How could she climb over such a high wall?

Not afraid of lunatics, just afraid of those with skills. At this moment, the housekeeper’s mind had only this thought.

As soon as An Baobei entered the dining room, she sat down at the table and continued eating. She wasn’t full yet. She planned to talk to Ning Zihan about letting him take her in after she was full.

Once An Baobei was full, she went upstairs to find Ning Zihan. The lock on Ning Zihan’s room door had been changed; both the inside and outside handles were in good condition.

When the housekeeper took An Baobei downstairs for a meal, she specifically paid attention to everything in this villa. When arriving at Ning Zihan’s room door, she politely knocked with her knuckles.

Hearing no response from inside, she pressed her ear to the door, trying to listen for any sound, but still didn’t hear anything, so she pulled the handle trying to enter.

The housekeeper caught up, seeing An Baobei tugging at the handle, he somewhat understood why the lock handle inside their young master’s room door was broken, hastily said, ”Miss An, this is not how you open a door, just gently turn it downwards, and push it, and it will open.”

An Baobei suddenly realized, ”No wonder I couldn’t open the door no matter how I tugged at it, turns out it’s like this. Your lock is really strange, it doesn’t even have a bolt.”

Housekeeper: ”...” What age are we in, and you still think you’re in ancient times. Right, right, this person has a mental illness, better not argue too much with her.

As soon as An Baobei pushed the door open, she saw Ning Zihan come out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, and immediately covered her eyes with both hands, turned her back to Ning Zihan, while still reprimanding, ”You, a dignified man, are actually so shameless! Look at you, so exposed! Even my Uncle Gong, who is so shameless, never behaved like this!”

Ning Zihan looked down at himself, his mouth twitching, then with a glance, the housekeeper immediately left.

To see An Baobei appear before him once again didn’t surprise Ning Zihan at all. He instinctively felt this lunatic had some intelligence, just that her mind was very problematic.
