Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1714: Chapter 1715: Because I Want To~

As soon as they entered the Imperial Capital, An Jing and Xiao Changyi returned to the mansion of the King of Xiyun.

On the way, some people recognized Xiao Changyi and An Jing. Everyone knew that An Jing, the Queen, had been found, and they were all very happy. Quite a few even hurriedly knelt down, not caring that Xiao Changyi and An Jing, riding their horses, quickly passed by them. They all knelt down to salute their King and Queen.

Jing Xingqingyun knew that their mother had been found, but they didn’t know that their mother and father would return today. At this moment, the four of them were at the gate of the mansion of the King of Xiyun, intending to ride their horses and take a tour around.

To be specific, Su Yi Jing, Su Yixing, and An Yiqing each rode a horse, while An Yiyun, although mounted, sat behind Su Yi Jing, clutching his elder brother’s waist.

This showed that Su Yi Jing, Su Yixing, and An Yiqing could ride horses, but An Yiyun could not.

Originally, Jing, Star, and Qing did not know how to ride horses, but because Jing Xingqingyun were unhappy due to their missing mother and absent father, Gong Juechen personally taught them horseback riding over the past six months to cheer them up. However, because An Yiyun was weak, Su Yi Jing, Su Yixing, and An Yiqing all learned, but An Yiyun did not.

Even though Su Yi Jing, Su Yixing, and An Yiqing were only eight and a half years old, they could already ride horses very well.

Especially Boss Su Yi Jing, who could even ride a horse with another person.

For An Yiyun’s safety, Su Yi Jing naturally let An Yiyun sit behind him, sharing a horse with him.

”Big brother, how about we have a race to see who rides faster?” An Yiqing asked playfully.

Su Yi Jing, expressionless, replied, ”No, racing through the streets might harm the people.”

Su Yixing said, ”Big brother is right.”

An Yiqing rolled his eyes, extremely disdainful: ”Second brother, can’t you stop agreeing with big brother? You do this every time.”

Su Yixing said, ”I’m happy to~”

An Yiqing gave Su Yixing a big eye-roll, then instructed An Yiyun: ”Yun Er, make sure to hold on tight to big brother. If you fall and get hurt, when father and mother return, they’ll definitely peel our skin off.”

An Yiyun smiled warmly: ”Third brother, you’re talking nonsense again. Father and mother couldn’t possibly be that cruel. You’d better be wary of big brother; he always has his ways with you.”

At this, An Yiyun finally responded to An Yiqing’s comment: ”I’m holding on tight, third brother, don’t worry. I won’t fall. Big brother always knows what he’s doing and knows I’m behind him, so he won’t ride too fast.”

”Then big brother, let’s go, let’s go to the countryside and have a look. We haven’t visited the countryside for a long time.” An Yiqing was very excited. Even though it was winter and there weren’t many beautiful sights in the countryside, he didn’t want to stay in the mansion at all. He was tired of playing inside; outside was better.

”Mm.” Su Yi Jing nodded expressionlessly, looking calm and composed, entirely like the eldest son.

Just as Su Yi Jing tightened his grip on the horse’s sides, he heard the rapid sound of hoofbeats approaching them. Instinctively, Su Yi Jing pulled the reins tight to stop the horse from moving forward.

Looking up, he saw a few people riding towards them. The closer the two in the lead got, the more familiar they looked to him. Until he recognized them as his father and mother, Su Yi Jing’s calm eyes lit up.

”It’s father and mother!” An Yiqing, much more outgoing, rode towards An Jing and Xiao Changyi on horseback. He shouted happily, ”Father! Mother!”
