The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1482: Chapter 585: Fifth Personality 2.0_2

Fortunately, Zhou Wang had already made arrangements.

So he immediately took out his phone and called another person.

”Hello, Mr. Zhou~”

A cautious greeting came from Sura, Qi Jiayi’s assistant, on the other end of the line.

”I called you this afternoon... How is it, did you find out?”

”Mr. Zhou, I still feel this isn’t right.”

On the phone, Sura hesitated and said worriedly, ”This... this is equivalent to me betraying Sister Jiayi, isn’t it?”

What Zhou Wang asked her to do earlier was to find out which hotel Qi Jiayi was staying at.

Qi Jiayi might not tell anyone, but she certainly wouldn’t hide it from her trusted assistant, Sura.

Now, hearing Sura’s tone, Zhou Wang knew that she had actually found out, but was still hesitating to tell him.

”What, are you afraid of offending your Sister Jiayi? Aren’t you afraid of offending me?”

Zhou Wang chuckled lightly, ”Do you believe that I can have the company’s HR department issue a transfer order tomorrow and send you to Africa?”

”Ah?”

Sura was taken aback, ”When did we have business in Africa?”

”We don’t, which is why I’m sending you to develop it.”

Zhou Wang replied matter-of-factly.

Hearing this bizarre logic, Sura’s face turned green, and she quickly begged, ”Please, Mr. Zhou, can’t I just tell you?”

”Don’t worry, even if your Sister Jiayi finds out about this, what can she do? I’m here, aren’t I?”

Zhou Wang slowed his tone, ”I won’t have you work in vain either. How about this, I’ll raise your rank by one level, effective tomorrow.”

Wangzhou Group is gradually moving toward formalization, and Zhou Wang seldom interferes in its operations. Under the current system, for Sura to be promoted normally, she would need to endure at least another year.

But with Zhou Wang’s word, he raised her rank, saving her at least half a year’s effort, which translates to an increase of at least 200,000 to 300,000 in income over the next year, not to mention bonuses and additional benefits like vacations...

And all Sura had to do was send Zhou Wang one location.

Under such coercion and temptation, Sura didn’t hesitate any longer, thanked him, hung up the phone, and then sent Zhou Wang a location and room number.

Zhou Wang looked at the location Sura sent and was momentarily stunned before showing a playful smile.

”Isn’t this a coincidence?”

...

Zhou Wang returned to the Four Seasons Hotel at No.8 Central Financial Street on Hong Kong Island.

That’s right, he never expected that Qi Jiayi was staying here, and when he was having dinner earlier, he was already very close to her.

But it’s not surprising; even if Qi Jiayi wants to avoid Zhou Wang, her long-standing life of luxury certainly wouldn’t have her choose a small motel. Out of so many top hotels on Hong Kong Island, she just needs to avoid the best one—

Because Zhou Wang would most likely stay there.

Originally, if it were another hotel, Zhou Wang might need to think about how to knock on Qi Jiayi’s door, but since it’s the Four Seasons, it’s easier.

Zhou Wang called Feng Qixiang. Smart people like Feng wouldn’t even ask why Zhou Wang was doing this. Upon learning Zhou Wang’s request, he just asked him to wait a moment.

In no time, a brisk, suit-clad middle-aged man arrived at the hotel lobby to meet Zhou Wang. He was the hotel’s manager on duty today.

Following the manager, Zhou Wang took the VIP elevator directly to the 52nd floor, stood in front of room 5202’s door, and the manager helped him unlock the door without wasting a word, then wisely excused himself.

”Mr. Zhou, call me if you need anything.”

”Thank you.”

Zhou Wang conveniently handed over a thousand Hong Kong Dollars. After the manager quietly left, Zhou Wang looked at the time; it was already past eleven now, and based on previous experience, if Qi Jiayi’s hidden personality was going to come into play, then Qi Jiayi was probably not herself anymore...

The door was ajar, silent inside, with nothing audible. Unhesitant, Zhou Wang gently pushed the door open and walked inside.

Zhou Wang was never stingy with his subordinates; for someone of Qi Jiayi’s level, her travel expenses, depending on the city, would generally start in the five-digit range. So while she wasn’t staying in the best presidential suite, she was in one of the hotel’s top executive suites.

Walking through the corridor, a spacious living room appeared, faintly lit with eerie lights. On the dining table, a half-empty bottle of whiskey—a powerhouse among spirits... vodka.

The bottle was about one-third empty, seeming fine, but for an average person, even if not drunk, consuming this much alcohol would likely leave them dizzy.

Zhou Wang scanned around and didn’t see Qi Jiayi’s figure, so he focused on the tightly closed bedroom door at the hallway’s end.

Approaching the door, Zhou Wang vaguely heard some rustling sounds inside, hard to describe, like some kind of obstructed water noise, quite rhythmic... leaving Zhou Wang a bit baffled.

What’s that sound?

”Jiayi? Are you in there?”

Zhou Wang called out, but there was no response from Qi Jiayi; instead, the inexplicable sound seemed to intensify.

Zhou Wang twisted the doorknob... it didn’t open.

The door was locked from the inside.

Grinning a bit, feeling the scene was just as expected, Zhou Wang wasn’t anxious. He then took out a very handy item he had used before, from the system warehouse.

[Heimerdinger’s Universal Key]

This tool, valued at fifty thousand points, was initially exchanged by Zhou Wang to unlock Qi Jiayi’s room last time. Now used on her again, it’s just fate.

Reflecting on it, Zhou Wang didn’t delay, inserting the mercury-like flowing key into the door, gently turning it, and the door responded with a click to unlock instantly.

Only when Zhou Wang pushed... he couldn’t move it.

Peering through the gap, Zhou Wang’s face darkened.

Is Qi Jiayi sick or what?

Locking the door is one thing, but pushing the bedside table to jam the door shut?

Oh... she’s been sick, no problem then.

Zhou Wang mentally griped, unable to find a better solution, he resorted to brute force, using the door to push the cabinet aside bit by bit.

Fortunately, the movable cabinet wasn’t heavy, otherwise Qi Jiayi couldn’t have moved it. So with Zhou Wang’s persistence, the door gap gradually widened.

When it was barely enough for a person, a sweaty Zhou Wang immediately turned sideways and squeezed himself in.

Finally entering the master bedroom, but on the large bed was not Qi Jiayi’s figure, only scattered clothes and... rope?

Zhou Wang’s gaze flickered, not overly surprised. Last time at Qi Jiayi’s place, he had seen some peculiar things after all.

With the bedroom empty, Qi Jiayi must be...

Turning his gaze, Zhou Wang found the faintly lit silhouette on the bathroom’s glass wall.

Tall and slender, with explosive curves, she was bending over there, in a bizarre posture, constantly moving. It’s hard to tell what she was fiddling with.

”Jiayi?”

Zhou Wang tried calling again, but there was still no response from Qi Jiayi in the bathroom, only vague muttering sounds.

Unable to comprehend the situation, Zhou Wang directly walked toward the bathroom, casually saying ”I’m coming in” without any sincerity, then he directly pushed open the bathroom door.

Under the amber light, the spacious bathroom scene entered Zhou Wang’s view.

Oh my god!

What is this woman... doing?

Upon seeing Qi Jiayi, though Zhou Wang had seen a lot and somewhat prepared, he was still stunned by the scene.

Wearing only some undergarments, Qi Jiayi was tied with a hemp rope, securely binding her hands, tethered beside the shower partition.

But that wasn’t the main point. The main point was her efforts to bend herself closer, trying to reach the round door handle of the partition...

What the hell!

Zhou Wang was utterly speechless with amazement.
