The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1474: Chapter 581: Violence Can Replace All Nonsense (Part 2)

Seasoned smokers all know there are only three moments when one craves a cigarette the most... Since almost all public places on Hong Kong Island have smoking bans, Zhou Wang had been holding back for quite a while after his meal.

But now, since they’re already asking him to leave, he’s beyond caring about any rules.

Daniel’s face immediately turned sour.

He had already issued two warnings in a row, yet Zhou Wang not only ignored them but also openly started smoking in the restaurant.

Facing the strange looks from others in the restaurant, he suddenly felt an invisible hand slapping his face, ”pa pa”.

It didn’t hurt, but it was loud.

”Sir, please leave immediately, or we won’t be polite!”

Daniel said something into his earpiece, and soon the building’s security rushed over. A few male waiters also eagerly surrounded, including the one who had been mocked by Zhou Wang earlier, most actively leading the way, obviously wanting to seize the chance to humiliate Zhou Wang.

”What are you waiting for, hurry up and throw him out!”

Li Lina, who was watching the drama unfold, urged while holding her phone.

At this moment, another group of people entered the restaurant, led by Lai Yuanbao. Seeing the situation inside, his face changed instantly, and he quickly rushed over.

The service staff at the front had just rolled up his sleeves to grab Zhou Wang, but before he could reach out his hand, his arm was already seized by the grim-looking Lai Yuanbao.

”Who...”

The service staff, bewildered, just turned around, only to be shoulder-thrown directly to the floor by Lai Yuanbao.

The restaurant was instantly filled with exclamations, and the waiter on the floor clutched his twisted arm and started wailing.

With a few more consecutive shoulder throws, Lai Yuanbao quickly floored the approaching security and waiters near Zhou Wang.

He seemed to be using some type of grappling technique; it didn’t look heavy-handed, but those he threw to the ground couldn’t get up at all for a while.

This sudden change left Daniel stunned; he looked at Lai Yuanbao with a dramatic change of expression, ”Who are you, you...”

Lai Yuanbao glanced at Zhou Wang, saw Zhou Wang watching coolly with a faint smile, and immediately understood.

Thud!

The utterly powerless Daniel was instantly slammed to the ground too, clutching his back in pain.

Zhou Wang watched, baring his teeth.

He’s not someone who likes violence, but when you have enough backing, violence is indeed useful.

It substitutes all unnecessary talk.

Daniel suddenly realized that the burly man in front of him was associated with Zhou Wang. Struggling to get up, he shouted at the remaining service staff who were hesitating:

”Why are you standing there dumbfounded, call the police...”

One of the staff, as if waking from a dream, just took out his phone when it was snatched by a hand reaching out from the side.

The waiter looked up and, recognizing the face of the person, was startled. He quickly lowered his head and mumbled:

”President Feng...”

”Yes, call President Feng quickly!”

Hearing the name of President Feng, Daniel, laying on the ground, also reacted and quickly shouted.

He almost forgot the true ownership of the restaurant. In a place like Hong Kong Island, solving such trouble might be easier through the Feng Family than the police.

Then Daniel saw a pair of shiny pointed leather shoes stop in front of him. Instinctively looking up, he saw a particularly grim young face, seeming to be in his thirties.

But it was a familiar face.

It was Young Master Feng, a major board member of the Four Seasons Hotel, Feng Qixiang.

”President Feng...”

Caprice Restaurant, famous as a Michelin-starred restaurant, is just a minor link in the vast operations of the Four Seasons Hotel.

Last time Daniel saw Feng Qixiang was at a hotel meeting. Ordinarily, Feng Qixiang wouldn’t waste time here.

Even if the waiters call, it would only be to an uncle of Feng Qixiang, another President Feng in charge of the hotel dining section...

And Feng Qixiang, the high and mighty big boss, usually has no interaction with them. Simply put, they might know Feng Qixiang, but Feng Qixiang doesn’t know them.

So Daniel truly didn’t expect Feng Qixiang to appear so abruptly before him.

Feng Qixiang’s way of greeting him was simple; once Daniel staggered to his feet, he swung an arm wide and slapped him.

Slap!

Pushed down to the floor again, Daniel clutched his reddened face, entirely dumbfounded.

But the next second, he understood why Feng Qixiang slapped him.

Just now, facing him with a dark face, Feng Qixiang turned instantly, smiling widely as he walked over to the man still sitting and smoking.

”Mr. Zhou, long time no see, you still look as dashing!”

”Have we met before?”

Putting out his cigarette on the plate, Zhou Wang stood up, somewhat surprised, and shook hands with him.

”You might not remember me, but two years ago, I had the fortune of meeting you once with my father when you visited Hong Kong Island...”

Feng Qixiang’s smile didn’t waver, just explaining in clear Mandarin.

Two years ago?

Hearing that time point, Zhou Wang knew it was probably another incident involving ”Joker’s Avatar”.

But regardless, this Young Master Feng and ”himself” shouldn’t be acquainted, so it’s normal for Zhou Wang not to remember him.

He was aware that Feng Qixiang was supposed to come.

Lai Yuanbao texted him during the meal, saying he contacted the Feng Family behind the Four Seasons Hotel, and Feng Qixiang was on his way, wanting to meet Zhou Wang.

Although Zhou Wang thought it was a bit of an overreaction, since Feng Qixiang was already on his way, he figured meeting wouldn’t hurt.

This is also why Zhou Wang wasn’t interested in arguing with Manager Daniel at all.

What level are you at, to deserve me wasting my breath?

”Oh, I remember now. Young Master Feng, you are even more gallant than before; no wonder I didn’t recognize you initially.”

”Mr. Zhou, you flatter me. Apologies for today; I didn’t know you were dining at our Four Seasons Hotel, which might have given you a poor experience...”

”Actually, it’s also my fault for not being clear about the restaurant’s policies, and for not expecting to encounter some disorderly people here.”

Zhou Wang hinted with a glance at the already dumbfounded Song Zhesuo and Li Lina nearby.

Feng Qixiang followed his gaze with a puzzled look, pausing briefly on Song Zhesuo and Li Lina, but didn’t bother to question what they did, simply waving his hand dismissively and said coldly:

”Didn’t you hear what Mr. Zhou said? Hurry and get those eyesores out of here!”

Daniel, face in panic, quickly scrambled up, preparing to escort Song Zhesuo and Li Lina out with the help of security.

”What are you doing... Bastards, don’t touch me!”

Song Zhesuo couldn’t understand Chinese, but Li Lina caught the gist. Realizing she might have provoked a big shot, she wasn’t exactly scared, but being escorted out like this felt tremendously humiliating.

She struggled and screamed, but the eager-to-redeem-himself Daniel ignored her, even giving her a slap when her nails dug into him.

In a daze for a moment, Li Lina then went completely berserk but couldn’t resist those burly men. Seeing her struggle in vain, she turned her reddened eyes to Cui Min’er.

”Cui Min’er, you little bastard, are you just going to stand there and do nothing!”

”I’ll tell Park Woo-bin everything that happened today, and you’ll be begging for forgiveness... I won’t forgive you...”

Cui Min’er’s body trembled, eyes flashing with fear and struggle.

Instinctively wanting to step forward, but after glancing at Zhou Wang’s serene expression, she remained rooted, ultimately just bowing her head as Li Lina’s vicious cursing gradually faded away...
