Pillar of Yita

This kind of thing sounds almost like a legendary story from the mouth of a poet.

But thrilling as it sounds, one can easily understand that if any step goes wrong, they would mostly end up failing their mission.

Just as Fang Hong said, the other path is not much different. If they were natives, they would likely hesitate at this moment. But everyone here is an Invoker, so after a brief discussion, they decided to go ahead — if it succeeds, it will be a glorious victory, and if it fails, things won’t be worse than they are now.

ZXC saw everyone excited and didn’t want to dampen the mood. He quietly asked Fang Hong: ”But starting the airship requires the Ship’s Officer’s key, and activating the Crystal Engine needs the Chief Mage’s permission. Where are we going to find these things?”

Fang Hong didn’t expect only he would think of this point, and looked at the latter mysteriously: ”I have a plan.”

”A plan?”

Fang Hong shook his head, the plan was so peculiar that he didn’t want to elaborate, only replied: ”Anyway, let’s take the warehouse district first and then deal with other problems. If we can’t even make it there, let’s just stick to the first plan.”

ZXC glanced at him and then nodded.

Once the plan was confirmed, Fang Hong and the others went to check out the hidden wine cellar, they searched for a long time but couldn’t find the hidden switch on one of the thick walls.

However, this didn’t stump Fang Hong, he roughly estimated the height of the cellar and then directly summoned Orphen’s Twin Stars, commanding this giant construct to punch through, collapsing the wall.

Everyone was seeing Fang Hong’s giant construct for the first time and was stunned because the impression left by the powerful punch was too striking.

After entering the cellar, Fang Hong originally thought ’Desert Blood’ was some rare stuff — but to his surprise, as soon as he entered, his sight fell upon a seemingly endless row of barrels displayed in the darkness, stacked up on three tiers.

He worried he was mistaken, walked over and pulled out a cork, under the crystal’s light, bright red liquid gushing out, soon filling the air beneath with a rich aroma of wine.

Fang Hong nearly stared in stupefaction, not to mention others.

Someone couldn’t resist pointing at the rows of barrels and asked: ”Is this what we are supposed to find?”

Fang Hong rigidly nodded, at least it matched the description, if there were any issues, it wasn’t related to him. Out of caution, he walked a round inside, finding nothing but similar barrels, without any peculiarities.

”How much should we take?” ZXC looked at the wine racks, couldn’t help but quietly ask, surely they wouldn’t take all the wine here?

Fang Hong thought for a moment and replied: ”Get a small barrel from outside, filling one barrel should be enough.”

While speaking, he dipped his finger in the wine to taste, though not much of a wine connoisseur, he could tell the wine was extraordinary, sweet and mellow, leaving an enduring aftertaste.

It almost seemed like an ordinary fine wine.

But that’s exactly what was strange.

Could it be that the person merely wanted to drink wine?

Fang Hong felt like he was seeing ghosts.

Yet he didn’t express anything, regardless, as long as it could be exchanged for information with that person it’s enough. After the others filled their barrels, they prepared to set out to rescue the remaining people in the outer region, but before leaving, Fang Hong reminded them once again:

”The Arcanists must have laid spells here, so even if you obtain the Magic Guided Reactor, you mustn’t use any skill, or you’ll alert them immediately. However, ordinary combat shouldn’t be a problem, as the guards also carry Magic Guided Reactors. If unsure, you can use their Reactors first.”

Having heard Fang Hong mention this before, everyone just nodded in agreement.

After separating, Fang Hong proceeded alone towards the direction of Wu Xiaopang and Luo Hao, having already familiarized himself with the guards’ patrol patterns, so like rescuing ZXC’s team, this operation was very smooth. He avoided the patrol guards’ spies, knocked out the guards overseeing that area, allowing the people below to come out.

Just as he succeeded, ZXC reported back with good news:

”Boss, we did it.”

”No one noticed over there?”

”No, everything went smoothly here.”

”Good,” Fang Hong also breathed a sigh of relief, despite saving time, he worried that Shield of Lufu might not cleanly execute the task. After all, their level was a burden, facing those guards, their sole advantage was having transparent information.

Fortunately, though plans usually encounter unexpected situations, this time none occurred, Fang Hong feels he’s perhaps on a lucky streak.

This gives him some confidence for the upcoming plan to capture the ship.

He replied: ”Now let’s head to the fort to meet, once we take over that place, we proceed to execute the second part of the plan.”

ZXC’s reply was clear and concise:

”Understood.”
