Pillar of Yita

I don’t know exactly how many...

Fang Hong made a rough estimate, the Constructs here are more than enough to arm an entire army. The Osh Empire has three craftsman battle regiments, each with seventy to eighty people. The Constructs displayed here are roughly the standard configuration for one regiment.

Of course, whether it’s the combat artisans of the Grand Guild or the craftsmen of the battle regiments, there wouldn’t be just one type of Construct. There’s also a large number of Auxiliary Constructs like Clockwork Fairies and Screeching Banshees. But speaking of main Constructs, the standard Constructs configured here are only more, not less.

How did so many standard main Constructs leak from the hands of the Imperial military?

If this is the work of these smugglers, then they really have incredible connections.

And what do the Blind Followers plan to do by transporting so many Constructs to Istania? Even the Istania Royal Family might not have the appetite to digest so many Flexible Constructs.

Or could it be that the Blind Followers have stored these Flexible Constructs here for some other purpose?

Fang Hong couldn’t help but subconsciously associate these things with the legendary ’Wandering Alchemist.’ However, what made him feel a little uneasy was whether so many Flexible Constructs indicated that the Wandering Alchemist also had about as many as a battle regiment.

What kind of concept is seventy to eighty professional Combat Artisans? If they gather together, they might even be able to topple the Istania government.

It’s important to know that even a vast empire, monopolizing the resources of an entire continent and possessing the world’s most advanced Magic Guided Engineering, can only sustain three craftsman battle regiments—in fact, it’s two and a half.

If the Wandering Alchemist truly had this scale, Fang Hong couldn’t help but wonder how strong the Blind Followers truly were, at least not weaker than the Dragon Worship Sect.

No, it should be said they are far stronger.

At least in Fang Hong’s understanding, the Dragon Worship Sect couldn’t possibly sustain seventy to eighty Combat Artisans.

But in fact, the Blind Followers are much more unheard of than the Dragon Worshippers and far less influential. Even if the Blind Followers intended to lay low, the number of believers is undeniable, and the Dragon Worship Sect’s followers are spread throughout Colin Ishurian.

And the Blind Followers have always been content in their corner of Istania.

This alone shows the difference.

Yet, if it’s not the case, then the origins of these military Constructs cannot be explained.

As Fang Hong was deeply musing, he suddenly heard a shout from behind: ”We’ve struck it rich!”

He turned around to see that Little Fatty, from the Shield of Lufu, couldn’t wait any longer and had climbed up from below. He walked over and wiped the nameplates on those tall Constructs with his hand, and his eyes couldn’t help but shine:

”We’ve struck it rich, these are all Flexible Constructs, and they should be of decent Level. How much would these be worth?”

Parker, along with the others, also climbed up from below just in time to hear this and couldn’t help but have his eyes light up: ”Wait, you said these things are valuable?”

He subconsciously looked at Fang Hong, knowing full well that among everyone, it was Fang Hong who was most likely to know the value of these items.

But Fang Hong honestly didn’t know.

Military standard Constructs differ from other Constructs and rarely circulate on the market, for even when they do, it’s in the shadows, in the smuggled market.

Moreover, military standard Constructs do not necessarily mean they’re desirable as there’s a substantial difference between the needs of armies and adventurers. Take, for instance, the Mares Knight, a Construct equipped with a Great Shield and carrying a forty-millimeter cannon. Is it powerful? Of course, it is.

But aside from being useful in Guild wars, what would adventurers use it for? The Magic Guided Cannon is powerful, but it’s also cumbersome to operate, far less convenient than a Magic Guided Construct capable of throwing fireballs. After all, the Guild considers the cost of a volley, whereas ordinary adventurers aren’t yet unable to afford the maintenance of a Magic Guided Construct.

The Sweeper is quite fitting for adventurers’ needs, but among similar Constructs, there’s the Shield Bearer and Fearless One. Unless someone wants to show off, there’s no need to buy the more expensive military Construct. It’s a completely different concept from the military Magic Guided Reactor vastly outperforming an ordinary Magic Guided Reactor.

However, being a Flexible Construct, especially a large Flexible Construct, certainly won’t come cheap; that’s a fact.

It was then Little Fatty excitedly returned, with an exuberant look, seemingly forgetting his mission in Javaland, and said to Fang Hong and Parker, ”Boss, we’re rich! We can find a way to transport these out and sell them, handling the proceeds according to the spoils of war agreement, what do you think?”

Fang Hong stared at this guy, momentarily speechless. Not to mention they were still on a mission, how did this guy plan to transport these things out?

The Fixed-Point Teleportation Scroll has a weight limit—it’s fine for teleporting a person and all his equipment, but adding a Construct weighing several hundred kilograms is out of the question. He did have an Information Crystal, but ever since acquiring the Orphen Twin Stars, his Information Crystal was already bursting at the seams, so there’s no way it could hold a large Construct.

In fact, he had thought of countless ways just to fit the Construct Sea Monster in, and in the end, barely managed by reducing the number of Energy Angels.

As for capturing these ’spoils of war’ after completing the mission, that too seemed improbable.
